“This little place is a gem. In business roughly 78 years four generations of the same family. I had two wieners all the way and a chocolate coffee milk drink. The fellow working behind the counter very upbeat and personable great guy to meet when you first walk in the door. I highly recommend this place for atmosphere for food and price. I travel a lot and eat at many different restaurants around the country This is one I'll come back to again when I'm back in Providence.“

“I read about New Rivers in RI Monthly, and decided to check it out with my husband (he loves bread, and we saw rolls listed). Best choice ever. We had a few drinks at the bar while we waited for our table to open, which were delicious. Once we got seated, we ordered a cheese plate and their famous New River Rolls. The cheese plate was small but curated so well. We could have eaten 3 orders of the rolls.. so worth it. The food was so fresh and flavorful, and genuinely just awesome to eat.
