“Food is absolutely amazing!!! Mash potatoes are flavorful. Chicken and steak cooked to perfection!! Front of the house very slow :/ I'm we got our appetizer before our drinks! We got our side salad with our meal.. ( didn't know what to eat first). Our wait wasn't long, which was very nice. Location is perfect :)”

“Shout out to Ivy and Mandy who made the four of us feel welcome as walk-in this evening. We are doing a Girls Weekend in Little Compton and after a day of shopping in Newport, needed some sustenance. Jade was our awesome server and had great recommendations and went that extra bit to make our meal special. All our entrees were terrific (salmon, swordfish, steak frites and mussels). Thank you!!!”

“Beautiful bakery and cafe with excellent food. The side salad with the breakfast sandwiches is a nice touch. Limited indoor seating by outdoor seating on wrap around porch and at fire pits is charming. Glad we tired this. We'll be back.”

“Ok, you want a great burger? Be prepared to take a bath afterwards. And that's not a bad thing. I had the juiciest, most tasteful burger I've had in ages. I regret I didn't take a picture, but when I took the first bite, I didn't stop. Had the special maple bacon cheese burger. Our waiter was great, upbeat and personable, and the place is clean! The only thing I have a problem with is the loudness, but it's a bar and grille. It's what you'd expect. Won't stop me from visiting again!”

“Went here on a Thursday for dinner and a beer after work and the place was amazing. Everyone was so nice and I felt like Ive been going here forever. The food came out quick and was so flavorful! The chicken mozambique plate was so good and had a little kick of spice to it. They also had music bingo night at the bar side and everyone was singing along it was such a vibe. They have music bingo every other Thursday. I absolutely recommend here if youre looking for somethkng casual and trying to chill. They have their own parking lot.Parking: They have their own free parking lot.”

“I remember coming to this place and it was old and it really needed a rehab bad. So I've been hearing about this place a lot lately. So my girlfriend and I decided to come here to have dinner on a Friday night. I couldn't believe what I was seeing! The whole building had a makeover done. Looks really nice and differently a family atmosphere. The food was good and the staff was very friendly. The price is reasonable. But the portions were small. I had a steak plate with fries, and my girlfriend had the prime rib plate, and we had chicken wings for an appetizer”

“Asian Gourmet is a small tucked away practically unnoticeable gem in the Tiverton plaza. The food is great, hot and the staff are polite and attentive. We had the chow mein this time- folks think Chow Mein is the same everywhere; not true!Asian Gourmets Sauce or gravy or whatever you wish to call it, is always tasty, doesn't coagulate when cooled and the noodles are fresh.We have had many other dishes- one favorite is the Basil Thai Rice with Shrimp!!!The shrimp are huge,flavorful and the Basil sauce is Amazing! Highly recommend!”

“Like other reviewers mentioned, the ingredients list is gum, gum, and more gum. Guar, xanthan, you name it, this is straight up gum cream baby. Does your gum cream taste gummy to you? It's because it is nearly pure gum. If you have been looking to increase your gum intake, this is the place to go gum wild.”

I do agree with the one review! Those Devil Dog Mud Slides "ARE THE ? BOMB!" You really can actually taste the liquor! My only complaint is: "I wish you were open EVERY DAY of the week ALL YEAR LONG! Kudos to you and your staff!! I'll see you next season! ??”

“The restaurant was excellent. The staff was welcoming, service was prompt and the food was delicious. The restaurant offers a nostalgic charm, the kind of place for special occasions that you went to as a child. But the menu was extensive and offered selections that were varied, perfectly prepared and charmingly plated including seafood, beef, chicken etc. I went with a few friends and each of us was thrilled.The restaurant is that kind of place that insulates you from the pace of the outside world and makes your night out special. “I was here on 08/01/22 picking up a door dash , so while I cannot comment on the quality of the food I am here to leave a rave review of the service I witnessed from the man behind the counter with dark glasses and no name tags he was very busy with pickup and instore orders and looked to be working alone and I witnessed him get treated like garbage by an inpatient disgruntled customer and this man handled it so gracefully and still treated the man with respect and kept it pushing ! A class act ! His name I later found out was Jose ! Thank you Jose !”

“Fish and Chips were perfect, large portions, crispy, batter fried. Unfortunately my side of slaw didn't have dressing, but it was very fresh. I suggest a real tarter sauce instead of packets. The menu is huge, there is something for everyone. The staff was good humered and very helpful. Wait times were short and they were very busy at 1pm on a weekday. I will be back often.”

“Went to Black Goose Cafe today on the recommendation of someone in a sangwich group. I got the Parisian: grilled chicken breast, caramelized onions, herb cheese spread, provolone, and baby spinach. This normally comes on country white bread but I substituted multigrain for no extra charge. It was $9.95 before tax. I rate this 8.3/10. I rate my sangwiches from a rubric of three standards: taste, eatability and texture. Taste 8/10. Overall a delicious sandwich. Good balance in toppings, the herb spread was tasty. Me personally, I needed something tangy/acidic to cut thru the richness of this beauty (do you see the cheese pull in the photo??). That and a little heat, so maybe a house hot sauce I could buy on the side would do the trick. Eatability 8/10. A little herb spread dripped out, but had no issues keeping clean while eating with the paper in my lap. However, I took out most of the spinach in one bite on one of the halves. Texture: 9/10. Not all their sandwiches are paninis but I highly recommend you get one. The crunch on this was incredible and it helped balance the creaminess of the insides. The multigrain is extra good this way, the press toasts the seeds on top Other things to note: decent menu with mix of cold and hot sandwiches, wraps, salads and Buddah bowls. This Cafe offers a variety of espresso drinks AND BOBA (which I was thrilled to find!) Customer service was a little cold at first, they didn't greet me when I arrived and kind of ignored me until they served me. But once they said hi, they were very sweet and gave good service. GORGEOUS view of the water and they have a patio on the side to enjoy both your order and the view. Parking was easy enough out front but could be tricky if they're terribly busy. I believe on the street parking is also available. I'm definitely coming back, this is right down the road from work”
