“I love everything about McCray's!!! I read other reviews but I could not relate to "any of them." I was just there last week and ordered $100.00 worth of food, everything was delicious ? I do agree with the one review! Those Devil Dog Mud Slides "ARE THE ? BOMB!" You really can actually taste the liquor! My only complaint is: "I wish you were open EVERY DAY of the week ALL YEAR LONG! Kudos to you and your staff!! I'll see you next season! ??“

“Went to Black Goose Cafe today on the recommendation of someone in a sangwich group. I got the Parisian: grilled chicken breast, caramelized onions, herb cheese spread, provolone, and baby spinach. This normally comes on country white bread but I substituted multigrain for no extra charge. It was $9.95 before tax. I rate this 8.3/10. I rate my sangwiches from a rubric of three standards: taste, eatability and texture. Taste 8/10. Overall a delicious sandwich. Good balance in toppings, the herb spread was tasty. Me personally, I needed something tangy/acidic to cut thru the richness of this beauty (do you see the cheese pull in the photo??). That and a little heat, so maybe a house hot sauce I could buy on the side would do the trick. Eatability 8/10. A little herb spread dripped out, but had no issues keeping clean while eating with the paper in my lap. However, I took out most of the spinach in one bite on one of the halves. Texture: 9/10. Not all their sandwiches are paninis but I highly recommend you get one. The crunch on this was incredible and it helped balance the creaminess of the insides. The multigrain is extra good this way, the press toasts the seeds on top Other things to note: decent menu with mix of cold and hot sandwiches, wraps, salads and Buddah bowls. This Cafe offers a variety of espresso drinks AND BOBA (which I was thrilled to find!) Customer service was a little cold at first, they didn't greet me when I arrived and kind of ignored me until they served me. But once they said hi, they were very sweet and gave good service. GORGEOUS view of the water and they have a patio on the side to enjoy both your order and the view. Parking was easy enough out front but could be tricky if they're terribly busy. I believe on the street parking is also available. I'm definitely coming back, this is right down the road from work“
“Overall I'm giving them 5 ? stars, BUT I really want to give them 4 ? stars due to the lack of waiters working on New Years eve? But the waitress WORKED HER BUTT OFF AND THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! SO FIVE STARS ? We will go back for dinner again!“

“Came for lunch and was lucky enough to get a table for 5. The place is small, but the menu is big with everything you could think of for breakfast or lunch. Service was very friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. Food was tasty and fairly large portions. I'd like to try this place for breakfast.“

“Really good Jamaican jerk chicken--in Rhode Island of all places! Ordered takeout over the phone, and our order was double-checked before handed to us. Portion size was good for the price, and the food was delicious! The chicken was seasoned and cooked well, and the sauce enhanced the flavors. The steamed vegetables were tender, and the rice + beans side was soft and fragrant (could taste the butter + coconut milk).“

“Their espresso was really good. We ordered an old fashioned and a latte. Their latte art is the best out of any other coffee shops around the area! I will say it twice, really good coffee!!Parking: Street parking available. There is also a church behind that you could probably park at but not 100% sure.“
“Great spot, love the atmosphere and the brews were fantastic!! Really interesting flavors and great variety of styles! Friendly staff and located in a cool, collective area of multiple businesses! Only complaint I'd say is the price and the size of their full pours. Typically at any brewery a full pour is an actual pint or close there to...14-16 oz for the lighter pilsner/lager types, obviously less beer for varieties with higher ABVs. These glasses for 4-5.5% brews were maybe 10-12 oz for the full price others spots would charge for a real pint. I get that the overhead in the place must be a lot, it's big and beautiful, but felt the prices for the sizes were a bit out of whack.“
“We parked up at the top of the hill, so we were close to the Mansions. Needed a watering hole after trudging round a Mansion. This place was just opening when we walked by. The beer was nice and cold, priced reasonably compared to the rip off merchants down by the Harbor. Best thing about it was the Owners. They were really personable. So, we came back for a grilled chicken sandwich lunch before heading home. Pity we couldn't stay longer. Wish there were more places like this. Highly recommended.“

“Dietary restrictions: Me and my husband came on a vacation to New Port both of us only eat kosher, and this place was amazing. We ate every meal here and even took food home for dinner each night. It truly made our trip so much more enjoyable, and all of the food is delicious. Everything I tried was delicious and super filling!“

“This place is DELICIOUS. Worth the wait for sure. Came to Portsmouth for Christmas and had an AWFUL coffee the day before at another place whose name has left my mind. I usually am a straight espresso kind of person but the menu was so extensive that I got the peanut butter cup latte which was phenomenal. You're going to wait a while to get it but it's delicious.“
