“Formally a Newport sushi restaurant that moved into Belmont Market. Definitely the best supermarket sushi when you want to satisfy that craving without having to go through the hassle of sitting down at a restaurant.I have yet to encounter this rude man everyone speaks of but I suspect he’s probably a nice guy with a rough delivery of words ?I’ve only had to wait 40 min once bc I put the order in while at the store but it sounds like it’s a thing. So just call way ahead for the special rolls. Definitely worth it for the Blackship and Shrimp Tempura Rolls.“

“Very good quality handmade sushi and excellent service at a reasonable price. Owner is very friendly and passionate about his business. When it comes to sushi in particular, I am very picky, but the food quality and service keep bringing me back in. The dining space is relatively small, but I typically order to-go. Highly recommend this restaurant to any sushi enthusiasts.“

“Tsunama is the place to go for great sushi and more. We’ve tried almost every nigiri, and could not love it more. The Hibachi/Teriyaki dinners are fit for a king…or queen. The atmosphere is relaxing and pleasing. The service is outstanding. They also have a full bar. If you have not been to Tsunama, you must visit, even if sushi is not your preference. If you have been, you will most likely return.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegetarian option with plenty of rice, noodles, fruit and vegetable options.Parking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Easy to access from the sidewalk“
