“Mori Sushi has the best sushi on the island. We usually dine at the restaurant and always have friendly and fast service. Tonight, we ordered take-out but forgot to add a Japanese soda through doordash. I called the restaurant and the manager was able to finagle his way into the doordash order and add the soda to it. He made a 6 year old kid very happy and I am grateful for his efforts.Love, love, love this place!“
“Food was amazing, service was excellent, atmosphere was adorable... so why 4 stars? After such a nice experience, having to figure out the bill for 6 individual diners really detracted from the experience. We passed the slip around, scribbled notes on scrap paper collected cards and cash and then the server was unable to figure it out. Our bill was over $300. Why, in this day and age, is this establishment unable to figure out how to give us separate checks is beyond me. We are a group of 10 ladies who formed 1 year ago and this is the first time we were told we could not get separate checks. It took 45 min for the manager to figure out our bill so we could pay. “My absolute favorite sushi restaurant. I had sushi here for the first time on a trip to Newport. Now I travel from NY to RI just for this sushi alone. The spicy shrimp roll and mango avocado roll are amazing. I’ve come all different days of the week, and every time it’s so fresh. 10/10 recommend.“
