Leave the packed tourists at 167 Raw and book a reservation at this gem from the same team right around the corner. Excellent cocktails and wine pair with creative and delicious seafood dishes meant to share. Bar 167 masters the vibe factor that always narrowly eludes 167 Raw. Come thirsty and often. Best downtown spot for lunch, ‘bar’ none.
Beautiful new digs, good service, and very good food make it very enjoyable to eat here. Fish taco was great, but I thought the fish in the ceviche was a bit tough - should have been cut thinner or macerated longer.Updated from years ago - the food was excellent, including the scallop and halibut ceviche, but service was lacking - server didn't check to see how either course was and only paid attention to ask if I wanted another glass of wine. Felt rather neglected at the oyster...read full review
