“This place was just across the street from our hotel. We had been eating so much on our trip we wanted lighter fare that we could walk to. We have a place similar to this where we live and enjoy going to.They have signature dishes or you can make your own. The make your own can get a little pricey if you are not paying attention as they charge extra for items that we normally get for free at our local place. While the menu online had brown rice as a base option, they did not have that both times we went so I opted for sushi rice. Really shouldn't have to choose. Also, the salad base option is kale vs. mixed greens so another swing and a miss. The marinated tuna was really good. My bowl was loaded with seaweed salad, which I like, but both times it almost was too much.I don't know if this is a new place but most people who came in had difficulty placing their orders. It was either a communication breakdown or just not knowing how to order. The staff seemed more focused in getting the order made and move on.“

“We love coming to O-ku, it feels metro being right on King Street. The appetizer summer roll is unreal! The sauce the soooo good.Pictured is the rainbow roll, a little small for the price. The sake is speciality and the sake flight lets you try some different ones. I recommend a reservation because sometimes it is busy!“

“It's a nice hipster looking place with indie and alternative music in the background ? the staff is super friendly and you can see that they work as a team and get along ?‍♂️I tolerate spicy very little and well ? this place has very few menu options and several of them are, guest what? spicy ?️? however the good reviews and photos made us come ? the little I tried from my boyfriend's dish (Pad Kra Pao) it seemed to me that the meat was very well seasoned, and he was fascinated by his dish, the buns we ordered to share were delicious, sweet and soft, both the bun and the meat ?; my greens tasted sooooo good, we were impressed; the Jiao Zi were a surprise, I had never tried that flavor profile and I It seemed very interesting honestly but I also started to burn my mouth our waitress Natalie saw me struggling with water and my ginger beer and brought me ? milk like ❤️ it was the freakin’ sweetest and most considerate gesture on the ? because I knew that it would be spicy and I still took the risk and didn't ask for help but she was watching our table so she noticed it honestly super attentive not only with that but with her whole service during our stay, I am so pleased whenever I get actual quality services, 5 stars for Natalie ⭐️?We were satisfied in our tummies and our hearts ? (and had some leftovers to go ?)“

“I found myself with lots of luggage and a short wait for an Uber in front of Bon Banh Mi on Spring St. - perfect time for a quick bowl of cold noodles with pork dumplings. I eat often at the shop on Ben Sawyer, so it was an easy decision. The food was quick, well prepared, served with great consideration and southern manners, and I didn't have to leave my little bright colored patio table on the Spring St sidewalk for one thing. A lovely little lunch in the sunshine of DT Charleston! Props to you! One more Bon Banh Mi to love in the area!!“

“They came to our job and served food all day. So I am representing at least 80 people when I say this. Their food is very very good. I have to start with the vegetables. Mom would have loved that. Lol. But I've never had Curry flavored vegetables so good. The broccoli was perfectly cooked after 4 hours of service. Everyone who ordered was very pleased with the food. I am so sorry I forgot the names of the wraps I had. But they are no bad raps in this truck. You can not lose. I find it hard find food trucks when I'm looking for them. When I go to Yelp or their website it never tells me the location they are at at the time I am looking. I can't even find the scheduling. I really wish they would work on that. Sometimes instead of going out the restaurants I would just like to take my kids to food trucks and go sit in the car or on the park and just talk. I think that's the coolest parts of food trucks. Not being stationary. The service is pretty quick and the ladies are very nice. I will be back soon“

“We couldn't figure out where we wanted to eat late last night and didn't want to spend too much money since we'd already had an appetizer somewhere else. We walked by here and thought it would be good. The restaurant isn't exactly the cleanest and to food isn't exactly the highest quality that you may be used to in Charleston but it was pretty good, especially for the price. My husband and both ordered a drink and entree and shared a roll, all for about $50. It's almost impossible to get all that anywhere else. I even opted for the duck, which was a thigh portion but I really liked it. The curry was good and the vegetables were fresh. The roll wasn't very fancy but they had some that sounded really good to choose from. At under $10 for a roll, the price was right. Our server was nice and the food came out pretty quick. This looks like one of the hot spots for the college kids, probably because it is so affordable and it's pretty darn good. I'd definitely recommend and if we were local, we would definitely be back.“

“My family and I came to this beautiful establishment just for a family night out. It most definitely was a great time here. I would suggest that if you go make sure to book a reservation, it can be congestive - not just the amount of food they serve you, lol. The waitress was so friendly and fun , especially the hibachi chef who stapled the whole experience. We all ordered the hibachi chicken dinner because this was our 1st time at this restaurant. The meat was seasoned just right and very tender along with the vegetables and rice. Oh,and the green onion soup was on point thats served with hibachi dinner. Because we came on Sunday, apps were 50% off, so i ordered two of the shrimp and vegetable tempura. Everything was amazing at this restaurant, and my family and I will be returning. Thanks ICHIBAN!!“

“We were a little hesitant due to the gas station location, but don't let it deter you from giving this place a try. It was busy with takeouts, and the interior is small and simple, but we got great service and the food was delicious! If I lived nearby I'd definitely be ordering takeout on a regular basis. “The absolute height of food in the area and the only Chinese worth getting in WA.It's small, unassuming, and discretly tucked into a strip mall, but it is absolutely worth your time.We had a bunch of sushi rolls, a teriyaki chicken, and a Mongolian beef bowl...multiple times...multiple days...in a row. Each time was perfect and felt better than the last! I loved it so much that I got some for a flight out of Charleston as my in-flight meal. All the food is served in to-go containers, but they could serve this masterpiece in a trash can, and it would still be great.Recommended highly!“
