Walked by this place enough times on our visit to finally pop in. Service was good, though they were out of a few flavors we wanted. Should’ve believed the ratings here. Cookies did not hit. Texture wise was fine but they all tasted strangely artificial and had an overpowering lingering sugary sweetness to them.
I wanted to send my vegan daughter a "pick me up" while going to college and working evenings in Charleston. Being far away from home and not having any comforts from home I decided to send her some of her favorite vegan cookies. I found a promotion for 20 cookies for $20 and free shipping. I was not expecting the promotion to work so I was surprised when everything went well. I ordered at 7 pm and the cookies were delivered fresh and warm to her door in less than an hour! Insomnia Cookies is always an amazing stop for a late-night, or not so late-night treat. It was my go-to shop when in college, and I was so glad to see one in this area! Their ice cream is fantastic and they rotate flavors, you can also get a hand-mixed pint with whatever toppings you like from their selection.
