“Came for an early dinner with some friends before a show and was not disappointed. Located in a little pocket sort of near Hampton Park, expect to spend a minute circling the block to find parking. Renzo is unassuming but light and bright in a corner spot with tables and booths and a normal bar. We were early enough for unexpected Happy Hour specials (on a Saturday) and took full advantage - meatballs and discount cocktails. Meatballs were soft and moist and flavorful with 4 per order. Miso were better than the Roman (strong sauce with almost raw garlic) but we liked both. Drinks were all solid, from Happy Hour on. Get the guava-lychee drink. The rest of the menu is split into pizzas and not pizzas and we picked a few from both. The Caesar and most other dishes are perfectly portioned for one or to share amongst a table of four. We ended up having the Caesar, two “not pizzas”, the two orders of meatballs, and two pizzas and it was perfect for our group at a great price. Some dishes were a split like/don’t like (lemony potatoes & desserts), but as a whole we didn’t have a bad bite. A great spot for a little less than a la fancy pizza & pasta dinner, Renzo delivers.

“Coming from a NY pizza snob. I’ve lived in the Charleston area for the last 18 years and this is the closest I have felt to home. The food is fantastic and challenge anyone to say any other pizza pie is better. Throw in the amazing customer service from the staff and they are second to none. “I've had their gluten free cauliflower crust pizza and it was ready great - delicious crunch and chew. Expect a bit of a wait during dinner, especially on Fridays. The toppings are a bit pricey, though. Just over $40 for 2 personal, 2-topping pizzas.“

“I have to say after living right down the street for 5 years I am ashamed I have never bothered to give Joeys a go. That being said I had the best experience today. Not sure about current reviews but the atmosphere was great. Granted if they did have a heavy metal concert I probably would have gone sooner, but it was nothing of the sorts. You can hit your regular spots for that regular ole sub however Chris and Curtis take pride in their establishment. Since I was a newbie I let them take me through a "sandwich experience", for lack of better terms. They recommended the Godmother's Turkey after asking me a few question about what I like.
The bread was unbelievably crispy, I am one to put chips on my sandwiches' for crunch however their bread had the perfect "crunch" for me. I know they have a trainee but to me I wouldn't have known. (GOOD TO KNOW PEOPLE STILL WORK not only that but put 120% into it.)
I HIGHLY recommend to try them if you haven't. Don't let the haters hate because they ain't!
Also people like to review about their own personal issues not the actual restaurant. If you try and don't like I'll buy you your favorite sammich wherever you want.

Giovanni is very personable and always has remembered me and that is something you don’t get everywhere. I may live 1200 miles from this place but it sure feels like home when I go in for a slice. “First let me say, the pizza was delicious!! Thin, crispy crust…the kind of yumminess you get from a wood burning oven. The perfect amount of cheese, sauce, and flavor. I don’t know what it’s like normally, but it was very slow and I for sure thought that the service would have been better…it was meh. Pretty cool atmosphere, but I was sitting at the bar and I can’t say I appreciated the bartender coming on duty spraying cleaning supplies and pouring bleach while I sat there. She was most helpful in suggesting the amount and toppings. My mobility issues allowed me to go to the Lobby and receive my Pizza. Leo brought it to the desk, he was very nice, appreciative and caring. April and Leo are great employees to have, they accommodate others issues and make it happen. I am most grateful and thankful. “I may be bias because I used to drive for the Summerville location but this food is great. I love the cheese bread and 10" pizza, both are great for a lunch treat. The marinara sauce is hands down the best. Made in house and it shows in the taste.

“I had the Shroom pizza... it was so good, that in spite of setting out to eat half, I forced myself to eat the whole thing because it tasted so dang good. Once of the best pizzas I've had in my entire life, and I've had a lot of pizza. Give it a try, well worth it. My wife got the clam pizza and loved it.“

“Best option for vegan pizza in Charleston, in terms of value and product. We were able to get three completely different vegan pizzas for the price of one of those options at other restaurants. “OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE and the food was DELICIOUS!!! I reached out to the Folly Rd. Marco's about having quite a few pizzas, brownies and drinks delivered to a hotel where I had a group of 28 staying. I called the store a couple times in the weeks leading up to the delivery before placing my order online. Each time I called, the person that answered the phone was so polite and helpful. On delivery day, the driver ("9694-H.M.") was on time (a few minutes early, even!) and so polite. When I asked him about the plates and napkins I had requested when I called the store to confirm my order, he had forgotten them and you could tell he felt horrible. He was so apologetic (said he sees the note about the paper products now and just missed it earlier) and offered to go back to the store and get them or go out and buy some at the store around the corner and bring them back. I asked if he'd get reimbursed for that, and he said no, but that didn't matter (I told him it did matter and we didn't need to do that). The group was already starting to come down for dinner, so I asked the hotel if there was any way they could help out (their customer service had also been stellar!). The hotel "saved the day" and was able to provide some paper plates and napkins, so all was well. I told the driver "problem solved" and no worries. I really appreciated him offering to go above and beyond.....I thought service like that was long gone. I was so impressed with this young man. About 20 minutes later, he showed up again at the hotel with a grocery bag of paper plates and napkins (even though he knew the hotel was able to find some for us). I was so impressed with his integrity! I thanked him and said we were good and maybe he could keep those in his car in case he needs them another time. So, Marco's on Folly Beach Rd........not only did you guys provide a great dinner for my group, but had it delivered by a person who is OUTSTANDING at his job!!! Thank you so much for making our evening GREAT!“

“This place was awesome!!! Be careful when you go there you won't see a Zombie Bob's sign it is in the Forthy Beard brewing company building they are one. The service was great and I wasn't sure what craft beer to try, and after talking to him he suggested one and gave me a sample and it was a great choice. We had a stuffed pretzels starter and two of their specials, one a starter of stuffed mushrooms and a flatbread pizza. As with their craft beer all the food was delicious, so if your looking for something out of the ordinary when you visit Charleston give this place a try.“
