“I am usually a harsh critic on Google Reviews, so I don’t usually like to give 5 stars. But, I saw Renzo does have a bunch of reviews so I figured I wouldn’t be as harsh. 5 stars for Renzo!
The French Onion pizza was spectacular. My mom and brother got wine, and that looked pretty good.
My only complaint is we ordered some meatballs off of the happy hour menu and they were tiny… like super tiny… like penny sized. And I like to eat. But now I know the pizza is better bang for my buck.
I enjoyed the pizza, the service, and the environment!

“food burned. horrific service with bad attitudes. no parking at all. no bathrooms. smoke-filled place. commented on a post of theirs and this was how they replied. zero accountability and customer shaming. sir/mam, whoever you are. if you been doing this for many years, then that gives even less of an excuse to provide such poor quality food and service. you claim the locals know about you. I've been here for years and never heard your name ever mentioned once in any pizza recommendation post. Actually, never heard of you at all. EVER! Now I know why. And by the way, those paper thin slices you sell for $11 or 2 is laughable. In NYC they sold $1 slices heftier than that. One last thing. your sign on the outside states one price for your "SPECIAL" and the sign on the inside is a different price. Clearly you lack consistency and integrity with everything across the board.“

“I am so upset that we’ve never ordered from here before!! It was the best pizza and pasta we’ve ever gotten in the Charleston area. I would even compare it to the food we got in Little Italy in NY. The pizza is superb with the best crust, sauce and mozzarella!! The spaghetti with marinara and the Lasagna were AMAZING as well. It’s our new go to for pizza and pasta!!“

“The chicken parm sandwich is one of my favorite comfort foods in the area! Unfortunately, tonight was the third time we had to wait nearly thirty minutes for our online takeout order. I have bad back pain, so standing and waiting has been an inconvenience, but maybe the average person doesn’t care. I don’t know.
Whenever we dine in, it’s no problem at all. But the takeout has been consistently about ~30 min later than expected recently.
But again, great staff and atmosphere!“

“Soren, Valentine and Jordan were spectacular. Listen. I have been around the world. Seriously. I have had pizza in 60 countries across the globe. Gilroys pizza was phenomenal. However. “The review is strictly for Bri. She went above and beyond to help me recieve some important information, while a guy, I assume the manager was in the background fussing and being really nasty about her being on the phone too long. Well sir, she was helping a previous CUSTOMER. It amazes me how rude Managers are to their employees. And the fact that he didn't care that he was talking loud enough that I could hear him speaks volumes.
If I could give multiple reviews I'd give 1 star based on this behavior.
You don't ever have to worry about me coming back to this establishment. Besides the pizza is OK, nothing to brag about!

“Visiting Charleston,SC, needed something filling . Found New York Pizza on East Bay Street. The young lady April who took my order over the phone was wonderful. She was most helpful in suggesting the amount and toppings. My mobility issues allowed me to go to the Lobby and receive my Pizza. Leo brought it to the desk, he was very nice, appreciative and caring. April and Leo are great employees to have, they accommodate others issues and make it happen. I am most grateful and thankful. My Pizza,Side Salad, Strawberry Lemonade mad the difference also. Thank you again and again April and Leo.“
“I had the Shroom pizza... it was so good, that in spite of setting out to eat half, I forced myself to eat the whole thing because it tasted so dang good. Once of the best pizzas I've had in my entire life, and I've had a lot of pizza. Give it a try, well worth it. My wife got the clam pizza and loved it.“

“I’ve been coming to this pizza place almost every week, and it never disappoints. The restaurant is always very clean, the staff is super friendly, and the price for the amount of food and toppings you get is more than reasonable. They’ve got a huge variety of toppings, everything is fresh, and the quality of each pizza is spot on. Plus, the food comes out fairly quickly.
This one here is an 11-inch MOD Pizza that I built myself with a ton of toppings, and it only cost $12. The best part is you can add as many toppings as you want for the same price, which is a great deal for the amount of food and flavor you get. I recommend going here if you love good pizza!“

Im a trucker and sometimes it is hard to find a decent meal let alone get it delivered somewhere. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. “Being a NY transplant, I'm often hard pressed to find good NY style pizza. Well, I've found it! The pizza I ordered was perfectly cooked, loaded with toppings and, don't get me started on the crust! The service was BEYOND all reasonable expectations. Joe was so gracious and kind. Even though I was just picking up take out, the atmosphere was great. Very cozy and laid back. All the staff were wonderful. I will most definitely be a repeat customer.“

“Last night, Tuesday, we ordered pizza, BOGO. It was our first time ordering pizza. It was the best pizza we've ever had. We were able to choose how we wanted it cooked
That was a first for us. We choose lightly, it was perfectly cooked. The appearance was tantalizing, the taste was mouth watering, the temperature was hot, which was special because we had it delivered and all I can say is, their pizzas our the BEST pizzas we've ever had. We ordered extra cheese, let me tell you, we got lots of extra cheese it was so awesome. We've never gotten a pizza that had that much cheese. We were in pizza heaven. As for the ingredients, they piled on the ingredients to the point that when you picked up a piece of pizza you had to use two hands because it was heavy. I don't know how they stay in business. Anyway, we have always bought our chicken wings and salads from Marco's but now we will also be buying ALL of our pizzas from MARCO'S. Hat's off to the chefs. Keep up the great work. Thank you for being well worth the money. You're the only one!“

“A local place we discovered after a long day of walking in Charleston. We wanted pizza and looked up and soo glad we found this gem. The pizza was delicious. We got salads and it was very generous. Loved the atmosphere...including fresh flowers on the tables. Love supporting local.“
