The matcha not so much :( Matcha wasn’t mixed in very well and the particles tasted salty. The matcha powder tasted like it was low quality. It also didn’t help that they don’t offer soy milk :((

“I already thought that Handel’s make some of the best ice cream I’ve tasted, but today Handel’s lived up to its family friendly, good customer reputation in a big way. A young counter person made a minor understandable order taking error. When she fixed her mistake, she did it pleasantly and with a smile before refusing the additional payment that was due. In fact, she declined my offer of payment several times.
I live at a bit of a distance, but I am going to be a loyal, repeat customer.”

“If you are considering mini-cupcakes for your next event, DO IT! We had Pound Cake Man’s cake and cupcakes for our wedding and it was great! We had five flavors of mini-cupcakes so our guests could try multiple flavors, and they made a special pound cake for us to cut. We were unable to have the food truck at the venue due to it being a Clemson home game weekend, but Pound Cake Man was incredibly easy to work with for both ordering and coordinating pick-up. We received such great feedback on all the flavors, and everyone seemed to enjoy how unique it was to have pound cake at our wedding. Highly recommend Pound Cake Man! (Event Date 10.22.22)”

“The Fried Green Tomatoes were so good - very different from anything I’ve had before. Loved how they were sliced, cooked, and paired with both sauces. Then had the Grilled Chicken Caesar salad. I LOVED how they grilled some of the Romaine lettuce and mixed it in with the cold greens! I really loved about this place! My daughter ordered a cheeseburger and she loved it, as well, with the truffle fries. HIGHLY Recommend this cute place!”

“This is a place where you only come because the food is decent, not great, just decent. It seems they have the interior, of the restaurant, so you don't want to sit down to eat. When you walk in, you're greeted with stares from the customers and a, "Hi, can I help you? Did you place an order?" From the little lady from the counter. You can see how hard they work to deliver, fresh, meals to their customers. They do stride for the best outcome in each aspect of their services. I do recommend this quaint little Asian restaurant.”

“Canes has mastered the trio of simplicity, efficiency, and tasty, and this location is no different. Located within the Clemson University campus and dining halls, this Canes is great spot to get a quick fix of chicken tenders and fries. The staff was friendly, order was received quickly, and the food came out hot and fresh. Crispy juicy chicken tenders and hot fries with a crispy outside and soft interior, topped off with the addicting canes sauce. I used to be a Zaxbys guy but Canes has taken the throne as far as consistency and quality.”

“We came in Friday November 25 at 6:30ish. Whoever was working the counter and running food was amazing! We have four crazy kids and they got the order perfect. Very helpful, very yummy. Will definitely come back.”

“I wo t judge this one place on corporate set prices. But if I did they would be a negative number. Not even 0. But people pay it, so here we are. As far as specifically this place. I like them. They are nice and clean enough. Food is good. Also no idea why but they DO NOT HAVE MUSHROOMS AT THIS LOCATION EVER. They never have. 5 stars if the manager fixes that. It would outweigh the slight other issues. Again, if price based review, it would be a negative 50. But that is set by corporate as far as I know. So 4 stars is for things specific to this one. I love the oreo milk shake!”

3. 25min no service and had others had to take food & drink order.
4. Billed me wrong for drink orders and didn’t know how to print itemized receipt

7. Couldn’t get beer tap working

“Excellent quality sashimi. Plus, the eel bowl was very much worth the trip, and not to mention, the "sushi"-style rice was prepared/served exactly as it should! The miso soup was not too salty -- this is a common error with others. And, my waitress, Bella, was exceptionally attentive. Kudos to her. (Note: My first visit here was on a Friday, at lunch, upon opening... the place was practically packed within 30 minutes.)”

“A lot of people put up false reviews for this place because they decided they did not want guns in their bar. They did it with a snarky sign and people got butt hurt.So here's the lo down on how they are as a restaurant and bar, and not an opinion on the extent to which 2nd amendment rights apply to private businesses:Their beer selection is the best in Clemson. Tons of cans and bottles and lots of taps. They get some really great craft stuff in. Plus this year they started the 100 beer club where you get a shirt and a plaque if you drink 100 beers there. The bartenders love their beer and make some great recommendations.Their food is bar food but they definitely step it up. Most things always have a little something something that takes it up a notch above standard bar food. Also their weekly specials are very good.Monday - $1 tacos,Tuesday - $5.75 large pizza,Wed -. $6.75/dzn wings,Thursday - burger night (<$6 for house burger and fries or tots, only $1 for speciality burger.They also have an upstairs and downstairs patio. Pups are allowed on the lower patio Mon to Thurs till 8.Update:Food is not as good as it used to be but it's decent bar food. Still a great selection of beer and staff is helpful. Two pool tables downstairs.”

“Visited Monday December 9th. Food was hot and correct, service was super nice today. The bigger gentleman that made my food and took my order around 2:30 was super nice. The Christmas decorations were very nice! There are not a lot of employees though. Looked like 3. That's not enough to run a restaurant properly. Do better about staffing, come on now”

“It was a nice evening. Perfect weather, so we sat outside. Immediately, a nice guy came out and took our drink order, and then a sweet lady came with a basket of chips and really good mild salsa. After asking her for a couple more minutes, she took our order. A couple more couples were seated as well as two families of four.

Food was being brought out to the other couples, then the families. Dessert brought to one person, then that family left. Another server stopped and asked if we had gotten our food or needed anything. The hubby said no food yet, but please, another cola. We confirmed what we ordered and he said it would be right out. Minutes later we rec'd our food.
The Mexican Street Tacos we ordered with the steak (not ground beef) and flour (not corn) tortillas. They were seasoned perfectly and topped with diced white onions and fresh cilantro. Lime wedges were on the plate and you had a choice of beans or rice. Their refried beans were creamy and slightly seasoned. We also had a side of their corn salad. Love Mexican corn salad, a simple dish of kernel corn drizzled with mayonnaise, parmesan, and a dash of most likely, Tajín seasoning.

Not sure where the hiccup was with service, but the meal was definitely tasty and worth the wait. BTW, we never once inquired about the whereabouts of our food. It was the server bringing out food at the other tables.”

“We had a great meal at Charleston Sports Pub. The burger, quesadillas and salads were really good. Our server, Dylan, provided great service and was very personable. It’s a great atmosphere here. We’ll be back.”
