“Jewel was completely awesome. This was our first time here and she navigated us remarkably. Even though the air was out, the food was absolutely wonderful. Good concept too!!Vegetarian options: Veggie broth and sidesKid-friendliness: Has chicken nuggets and French fries“
“We had a lot of fun here and will definitely be back, but I admit the meal was a bit stressful for me alone with my two tween/teen boys.We did the barbecue format. The server was attentive to come back and ask what we needed and such, but the way the food is brought at this location involves the raw plates just being dropped at the table. I found myself trying to manage sauces/spices that we had gotten from the bar, raw meat, cooked meat, and everything else in close proximity. It was easy to get confused in the moment and forget about which plates and utensils had touched raw food versus which ones had only touched cooked food increasing the risk of cross contamination. I feel like if I go again on a busy night where the server has many tables to attend to, that I need to set up a system from the start to help account for that.It is almost 48 hours later and no one got sick though. So maybe I am worrying too much over nothing. I will say though that I am fairly chill about things like this, and if it was worrying me a little bit, then I know someone who is very much about food safety would have a harder time with it.My only other complaint is that right up front the server had to give this entire speech about how we were limited to 120 minutes at the table, we weren't allowed to get food that we didn't end up eating, etc. I understand that it these things are to prevent abuse, but it was a bit heavy-handed and I think the restaurant could say it less so. It was also a bit annoying that the entire table has to pick either KBBQ or hot pot. You're paying $30+ a head, is there really that big of a concern to offer both? (You can get both for an extra surcharge per head)Despite all these nitpicks, as you can see, my rating is still very good. I will definitely return. With a bit of smoothing out of the process on their side, it could easily be a 5/5 experience though.“
“If you are a BBQ lover this place this place will not disappoint. The location is cool they have indoor dining and outdoor as well. The staff are friendly and check on you often. But the winner is the food. We ordered the Pig Out which you can choose 4 proteins and 2 sides. We ordered 2 1/2 rack of ribs, pulled pork and brisket. The ribs were fall off the bone. The pulled pork was really good. The brisket had a mixture or lean and fatty which was great! Also included hash puppies and some pickles. For our 2 side was the Mac and Chesse which definitely was my favorite and some Cole Slaw which was good. Definitely has to be one of my new favorite BBQ spots now.“
“I was craving a juicy burger without me cooking it, I had seen a post on Fb about naming the best burger place and Johnsons restaurant came up several times. I just had to try. HoneYŸ I tell you best decisions EVERRRRR.i am stuffed on thus huge monster cheeseburger it will take me 3 days to finish. Yall come get you some you won't be disappointed.“
“Food: Delicious sauces, one for all different flavor pallets. Meat was very tender. Best part of the meal! I'm not a huge fan of baked mac in cheese, theirs is very cheesy. So if you like super cheesy mac with it being cheese heavy at the top, this is for you. I was a little disappointed with the rice. I'm a rice fanatic, and theirs seemed a little over seasoned and a little dried out. I would be willing to give it another shot, though, along with trying out some of the other various side options they have available.Service: Very nice people, explained the menu. Gave me a realistic waiting time and provided outstanding customer service. Good Job ??Atmosphere: Small little BBQ spot. They provide a few tables inside, but it seems more really like a spot you just pick up from, which I'm totally fine with. I honestly only made it outside to my car before I began to devour my meal, though. Can't wait to see these owners eventually get a larger space where more seating is accommodating.“
“I ended up arbitrarily choosing this place before Covid when my parents came for a visit. It turned out to be the best BBQ buffet we ever had! Great selection. There was beer, and the cornbread was so good my Dad took some to go. He chatted with Doc and the 2 were like old buds . My Dad loved the set up. They tried coming back last year and it was closed . We really loved rhe simple set up, the service, and the prices were great too. The location was a bit out of the way.Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options available on the BBQ buffet.“
“We always bring our guest from out of town here for the real bbq buffet experience and on 04/20/24 the food was just as good as it was in the 80's. Food was great, live music was great and overall experience was great. Southern cooking at its finest.“
“This was our first time getting Korean Hot Pot and BBQ. We had a fantastic time. Our server Phillip was incredible. He took the time to explain everything to us, answered our questions, and kept checking in on us throughout the meal. The selection of seafood and meat was impressive, and we left stuffed and happy. The ability to try very small portions of new things was a serious bonus.I was worried about going on a Saturday night, but we had no wait. We will definitely be back.“
“I have been pasting this eatery for months. It always seems crowded, so I said the food must be good. So I looked them up on Google Map an the reviews was amazing. Outside decor was not so amazing. So after church I decided not to cook n stopped n ordered a rib, hash n rice potato salad n corn nuggets dinner with peach cobbler. The dinner was not disappointed very GOOD. However the peach cobbler wasn't.The prices were reasonable for the amount of food you get.I would recommend this establishment to everyone.Karen“
“This Korean family-style restaurant is incredibly clean and inviting. The unlimited complimentary side dishes are a fantastic touch. The fish cakes were exceptionally tasty, and the seafood pancake had wonderfully fresh octopus. The stone pot bibimbap was served at just the right temperature, and I absolutely loved it ~^_^Overall, a great dining experience!“
“I live in Irmo but it's well worth the drive to get to this place. I'm originally from Georgia and I have been here for over 30 years and I love this place. The food is amazing and I have tried quite a few places for barbecue. a little bit of a wait time but I wouldn't want fast food bbq.“
“Out for some produce (Wed) at the old Richland Mall tent market and lucky for me Billy G's food truck was on site with lots of BBQ choices..Got the pulled pork sandwich w/slaw..this sandwich was just delicious..moist, mildy smoked pork with a light pepper, mustard sauce (I think), excellent shredded slaw and enough for me to eat twice..good job Billy G's and son!“
“We came on one of the first couple days Teriyaki Madness was open, and we are now huge fans. Friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcome right away. The spicy teriyaki chicken and orange chicken are each tasty, and I’m looking forward to trying a spicy orange chicken in a future visit. Brown rice (often dry or bland at other restaurants) was cooked perfectly and provided a soft, flavorful contrast to the orange chicken. Yakisoba noodles covered with spicy teriyaki chicken was equally good. These folks know how to make food! The teriyaki sauce is truly something special — sweet and savory perfectly balanced. We look forward to more teriyaki meals from this spot in future!“
“First time here and I will definitely be back. All the food I tried on the buffet was delicious. I didn't try the fried chicken because I was too full! Buffet is a little more limited than some other places but it had enough variety to please almost anyone. I loved the hush puppies with a touch of sweetness. I also appreciated they had fried pork skins.“
“We had a good time at green's barbecue. We actually was club hopping that night of my sister's 60 of birthday. So that was the second club that we went to. All we did was dance and have drinks. It also was a nice place to go to. The atmosphere was pretty cool.Parking: They had 2 locations for parking. So getting a park and spot was relatively easy the police present made it even more safe and secure.Wheelchair accessibility: It's definitely wheel chair accessible“
“Maurice's offers pretty good for at really reasonable prices. I had the pulled pork, wife had the wings. We also split a slaw dog. Food was all good. You get what you pay for here. Cheap, decent BBQ! I'll definitely make this spot a regular.“
“Coming from a Texan, I was super impressed with the South Carolina barbecue. The pulled pork was a must eat, and I really enjoyed tasting all of the different sauces. When you're here, get the mac and cheese and try the vinegar sauce! Our server was also super attentive and helpful, and gave us information on what makes Eastern barbecue different than Texan.“
“I Tried this restaurant today and it did not disappoint, i’m not gonna lie it lowkey exceeded my expectations lollll. But let me just say this they gave a lot of food and it was so fresh. Y’all have to try them out!!! They give free drinks and spring rolls too when ordering over $20 bucks or if you pay in cash!!! This is now my go to spot!“
“me and my cousin stopped by there today and grabbed a hotdog basket while we was on the way back from fishing, and the food was great!!!! that homemade chilli definitely hit the spot!!! definitely will be going back there soon!!! the cook was cool and nice/professional!!!“
“I recently visited one of the best BBQ places in Columbia and was blown away by their brisket. The sides were a perfect match and made the meal even better. It was quite busy during lunchtime, so I recommend being clear and concise when placing your order. The cashier was extremely helpful and friendly. This has become one of my go-to lunch spots in Columbia.“
