“Breakfast is outstanding! I got the scramble and it was huge! The mushrooms were particularly tasty. My companion got the Benedict and loved it. We grabbed a sack lunch on our way out and the chicken salad sandwiches were delicious. Plus, the chefs gave us some fresh baked chips that were the perfect salty compliment to the sandwich. Really looking forward to lunch tomorrow...“

“I've been dreaming of their scallops for 3.5 years now since the last time we came. Food is always impeccable, and the jazz is wonderful. This is one of our few restaurants that you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Always excellent. Service is wonderful as well.“

“Top notch as always. This is one of the best dining experiences in the entire Hilton Head/Bluffton area. The menu is relatively limited in terms of number of selections, but the nightly specials are usually pretty compelling and in fact all four of our party got specials on the evening (the women got the fish, the men got the veal tomahawks.) Everything was terrific, and the service was on point as well. It's a little too spendy to be an every-week restaurant (for most of us at least), but it's always a treat and we will be back again in the not-too-distant future.“

“What a great place! We had cocktails and dinner on a Saturday just after the RBC Heritage tournament had left town. Everything was back in place and the club and restaurant did not miss a beat. “Met friends for brunch on the way off the island. It was all very good. Rather than go with a main and two sides, we each created our own brunch plate by combining sides. Everything was artfully conceived and created, with the flavors melding nicely. The space is rather small, so the four of us ended up at a communal table with another group of four, but with an open seat between us on both sides. That could have been a little tight with 10 at the table, but it worked out just fine. Pleasant space, though, for being small.“

“I first saw Stu's on TripAdvisor. It was hard to find with GPS but just remember it is on the street side of Piggly Wiggly. It was worth the search. We bought 4 subs and a Taco. “This was some of the best food I have had on the island. We sat inside but explored the outdoor part. It was incredibly speedy service and delicious food. They had live music playing and it was the most stunning setting. I got the lobster bisque and jalapeño hush puppies to start. Then had the scallops. They gave me goosebumps they were so tender. They were delicious and served with risotto. Oh and the jalapeño margarita was heavenly. Will definitely be back.Parking: Parking is just out front!“

“This was our first time here and even though they were busy our server, Lucy was very attentive. You could see that she had multiple tables to attend to but that did not interfere with her giving us great service. We always had everything we needed and our drinks were never left unrefreshed! “I had intended to go to the Black Marlin, which is a restaurant next-door to Carolina Crab. David the host was most welcoming and sat me at a table. Once I looked at the menu and heard David’s recommendation for the crabcake I decided to stay and I’m sure glad I did. I lucked out with the server— Sam as in Samantha was most accommodating and one of the best servers I’ve ever known.I ordered the she crab soup with Sherry, which was thick creamy and calorie free. Sic. Followed by the duo of crabcake and scallops —both of which were delicious. I highly recommend Carolina Crab to anyone seeking a excellent seafood meal in a casual environment with superb service.“

“Celeste is one of our favorite restaurants when visiting from Los Angeles. The food is creative and beautifully presented while maintaining the Coastal flavors and features. The servers are professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We love the upscale ambience which provides the palette for a memorable evening.“

“Typical Japanese/sushi restaurant. I had a regular sushi entree it was good and well presented. My wife had the shrimp tempura appetizer. It was excellent. I will definitely revisit when I visit Hilton Head in the future. Next time I will try their ramen bowl.“

“This place is phenomenal. We sat right next to the band which I was worried would be too loud but it was spectacular. Ear Candy is a band with 3 incredibly talented musicians, these people are world class. The service was fun and friendly. The food is outstanding. We had the crab stuffed oysters and the Northern special. Both were delicious. Our drinks were perfect. Our peach dessert was to die for and our guests enjoyed the peanut butter chocolate dessert. You have got to try this place. We will be back.“

“Went for Easter brunch, which was a limited menu, which we didn't realize until they handed us a one-pager with only 10-12 options. Quaint little spot. I had the bacon cheddar chicken & waffle which was divine. Wife had the baked Virginia Ham and she liked it, as well. Couldn't figure out what type of vibe they were going for. Food was great, atmosphere seemed relaxed but also a bit stuffy. I'd like to go back when their entire menu is available.“

“Tucked into one of the many business centers in Bluffton, this little gem is serving some seriously good food. At capacity this place won't feel crowded with options to sit at a table, the bar, or outside. Lots of tvs above the bar to watch the game while putting away some really good southern classics. We started with the fried pickles & ranch, then went all-in on the cheesesteak & spicy chicken sandwiches with fries. All incredible, all huge portions. Took home an assortment of oreo, key lime, cherry & white chocolate mini cheesecakes... which were also incredible.Well be back to try more from this menu. Food was delicious, prices were very reasonable, service was great!“

“The Squat 'N' Gobble adds a bit of character to the already charming Town of Bluffton. Southern hospitality is on full display at The Squat 'N' Gobble. The fresh cinnamon rolls and french toast were my favorite. I'm definitely adding this restaurant to my list of local favorites.“

“I really liked the bar food vibe of this place. We went on a Saturday early evening and our group thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The deviled eggs with 'chicharron' you simply have to try. I had a salad with southern fried chicken breast for protein, simply moist and yet crunchy. Others in the party drooled and ranted about the seafood Mac n cheese with ditalini pasta. So decadent. Another must have.“

“As a vegetarian, southern food can be a crapshoot. Fortunately these folks have it figured out. I had the fried green tomatoes and a blackened tofu melt with cole slaw and it was SO GOOD. Maybe the best tofu sandwich I've ever had. To top it off, our server was an absolute delight and the patio was just the exact right level of laid back.“

“The best comfort food I’ve had in a looooooong time. Please just bury me in their shrimp and grits when I die. My guest had the pimento Mac and Cheese with a lobster tail added on top. We could not have been happier. I couldn’t eat it all so brought home the remaining grits in a take out container and reheated them for breakfast. So happy. Thank you Hogshead!“

“The Sandbar! What a great experience. We just finished a Day at Harbor Town watching the 3rd Round of the RBC Heritage, it was a beautiful day, but it was hot - 90 degrees of low country hot! When we departed from the shuttle bus we had hopes of eating somewhere, but had no idea that we could get a table. We pulled up the Sandbar on google and walked straight over. The service was great and they had indoor and outdoor seating. They were well staffed and everyone was welcoming and kind. The orders came out fast and delicious. The restaurant was clean and the fusion of outdoor and indoor and dual bars gave it an extra set of beach panache! If you are looking for a great spot with great food and aura the Sandbar is for you!“

“Talk about a rockstar owner. Team there is hilarious, friendly, and the food is incredible. Came in here with my sister and my to-be brother-in-law over the Christmas holiday. “We went to a family lunch to celebrate the birthday of my sister-in-law. Since we are originally from Buffalo, you can imagine how much we enjoy R Bar. There are all the foods we are accustomed to from our hometown. There was a very pleasant and courteous waiter at our table. In spite of the fact that he entered all of our orders correctly, there was a little mishap in the kitchen between mine and my sister-in-law's sandwich. We swapped what we could between her order and mine so they would not have to remake my sandwich and she would simply need a new one. Upon explaining what we had done, a lady in a Pittsburgh Penguins shirt emerged from the back abruptly asking in a rude tone, "tell me what is wrong with this sandwich". She replied, "Well it's already half eaten," while she touched with her bare naked hands, expecting my pregnant sister-in-law to take it back. Please note that it was not half eaten, I still had the other part on my plate, and she indicated that she required it back in order to prepare a completely new sandwich. In an effort to appease such a miserable soul, I politely returned the half of chicken finger to her. As a result of our further discussion, she took her poor attitude back to the kitchen and remade the sandwich. As a result of this lady's poor attitude regarding an issue her kitchen staff had created, we were all very uncomfortable. It would be prudent for her to consider other careers if a messed up sandwich has the potential to make her that angry.“

“While a little bit of patience and an open mind might be needed for this dining experience, the delicious food is definitely worth a visit. It seems like Annie Os has had to get creative to deal with staff shortages that continue to plague small business owners, but they also seem unwilling to sacrifice the quality of their food. When you enter you're asked to find a table and place your order at the counter, food and drinks are brought to the table. They have an extensive menu of southern comfort food and low-country options. While they do not serve alcohol, their homemade lemonade is delicious and a must try. If you're having a hard time deciding what to get, you can't go wrong with the fried chicken (Nashville style available for those that like a good spice and heat). The chicken wings are not your typical chicken wings and eat more like fried chicken and are delicious. The fried shrimp is spot on and I also recommend any of the southern sides. Definitely a place we will keep going back to.“

“First impressions of First Watch are lasting positive impressions. We were in a layover at the airport and decided to meet family for a quick late brunch. We Uber(ed) over from the airport to meet family who also used Uber. Greeted at entrance where hostesses offered to store our bags until we would depart. Loved this. Seated in an open area with a view of the preparation area, many diners enjoying the atmosphere and flights (the process of sampling/tasting wines). Wait staff was patient and attentive as we caught up with family member stories. Wine servings were pricey but refreshing. Nice menu selections that were tasty and original.The restaurant clients were clearly having a great time at the this venue. Before we headed back to the airport we moved to the rooftop for an exhilarating view of Nashville and we’re not disappointed. First Watch is a check it out spot you won’t want to pass up!“

“Dined at lunch. Had the Asian influenced salad. Husband had fish and chips. Started with shrimp app at recommendation of server. It was delicious with 6 large shrimp. Broth it was in was like a delicious soup. Yummy to dip the bread in too. Most impressive atmosphere too. Beautiful instaworthy surroundings IMO. Try to get one of the 2 top tables along the right side with large leather armchairs if you are a party of 2! Loved it! Would go again and definitely recommend. “A regular location for us. Sydney was knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. Also met Colin. Cared about our experience and we enjoyed meeting him. As always, food was excellent. We thought the salmon could have used a little bit of garnishing to improve the presentation. The potato leek soup was a nice starter. The bourbon bread pudding was outstanding.“

“This is such a great restaurant, bar, and music venue. The live music was phenomenal and everyone in the restaurant was having a great time. My wife had blacked mahi tacos and I had the island salad with blacked mahi. Both were amazing— super fresh, expertly prepared, and very nicely seasoned. Ingredient choices were spot-on, from the aioli in my wife’s tacos to the lemon vinaigrette, quality unique Italian cheese, and sunflower seeds in my salad. The house Chardonnay was surprisingly good. Then came desert— key lime pie— which as you can see in the picture had an amazing presentation and tasted as good as it looks. Our server was perfect, we weren’t rushed, the outside seating was beautiful, and everyone that worked there was super friendly. For the quality and experience, pricing was very reasonable. “Dwayne was our server and was very personable. We had the bbq wings and they were delicious. Hubby had the pulled pork with fries and he gave it a 4.7 out of 5. I had the Turkey Swiss with pecans and it was fantastic. Definitely will be coming back.“

“Carbon copy of Disney. Which is to say the food, service and atmosphere is exactly what you would find in the theme parks in Florida and California. “The waitress was so sweet and fun! Everything was cooked very well, portion sizes are perfect. Really cute little place with a homey feel. I had a big breakfast with blueberry pancakes and my boyfriend had a 2 egg breakfast. No complaints at all about the good. We ended up buying T shirts because we loved the place so much!
