“The service and most of the food was amazing last Saturday night. My brother had the Wagu steak it had good flavor and was cooked perfectly. The only problem was it was chewy and the fat seemed like it did not break down. Our server was amazing and said that she would get a manager. 20 minutes later the manager came over with an attitude. We explained the situation and he seemed not to care. Said every once in a while that even the best meat could be off. He did nothing to fix it and walked off like we wasted his time. Very disappointed in the manager’s lack of interest. Very satisfied and happy with our server.”

“My wife and I stopped here Friday night before dinner at a nearby restaurant. Friday and Saturday nights get very crowded but we were fortunate to grab 2 seats at the bar which is rather small. They specialize in MANY types of wine, craft beers and sangria. I’m had the Gailic Ale and an Oktoberfest, my wife had the red sangria. The atmosphere is that of a boutique book shop/winery. They offer a small selection of small bites that looked delicious. Very cool place . Prices were fair and we look forward to going back.”

“My daughter had her first prom this past weekend. I live out of state but I wanted to make sure her night was special. I spoke with Lynn Allen (general manager) she walked me thru buying a gift card and I was able to surprise my daughter and her date with dinner covered. Lynn (and the hostess I spoke with) were so friendly and helpful! My daughter said her dinner was amazing and can’t wait to visit again! So refreshing to have such friendly and professional staff to communicate with!”

“I stopped at Firebirds today for a late lunch. The soup of the day was amazing (Tomato bisque) and a perfectly cooked burger. Most outstanding was my server Michelle. She was so gracious I felt like she was welcomimg me into her home.”

“My wife and I made reservations this past Friday. We were seated immediately at a very comfortable table. We had cocktails beforehand but noticed their lounge is spacious , we will be sure to have pre dinner drinks there next time. Our server was very attentive and helpful with menu choices. There happened to be the YOCO Trail week w/ special menu items at several restaurants in the area. So we were able to each choose an appetizer, entree and dessert for $35 each. We had the tortillas with lobster dip, a strawberry salad and they served warm bread with a tomato and olive oil sauce. I ordered shrimp and grits and my wife had the salmon. We also chose the key lime pie and chocolate mousse cake. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!”

I brought my daughter to try Indian food, after church today and she was hooked as soon as she melted the fresh aromas when we walked through the door. Everything was simply amazing. They have a salsa bar with about 6 different salsas with varying degrees of heat. I like spicy but just their mild was so flavorful. I will be back!”

“Tega Cay Deli truly has the best bagels around—especially when paired with their homemade cream cheese. We also love their chicken salad and the RB Cheddar Panini was a pleasant surprise! We ordered extra horseradish sauce adding just the right amount of kick. Plus, even during busy times, their line moves fast, making it easy to grab a great meal without the wait. We are so grateful to have them in our community!”

He also inspected our breakfast for accuracy without us noticing they forgot an egg on one and fixed that too! We appreciated the attention to detail and will be back! (They also have breakfast cocktails for weekend brunch dates!)”

Today was actually my first time doing the pickup myself in Tega Cay (someone usually grabs it for me), and the process was incredibly simple and seamless. In and out, quick, easy, and well organized. Supporting a local small business that delivers this level of quality and convenience is a win all around. If you appreciate real sourdough and want something fresh, local, and reliably excellent, this is absolutely worth it.”

Real ones know you can't find them anywhere else in Charlotte. One of the family members is from New Orleans so there's a true novelty for me - boudin kolache. “I was craving some good chicken tenders and coleslaw. I remembered seeing this place and wanted to try it out. 10/10 in my opinion. The chicken tenders are so tasty and the sauces are all great. We tried bbq sauce, honey mustard and ranch. We also had the fries which were amazing! We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu and to try some of the custard. The price for 7 tenders, regular fry, coleslaw and 2 extra sauces came out to a little over 20 bucks.”

“🍕We had a sneak peek of Emilio's Pizza in Tega Cay last night and it was delicious! They are still putting the final touches on the space, but they were welcoming walk in orders for pizza and wings as long as we promised not to overwhelm them. 🤣The venue looks great and when finished will have a large bar, plenty of tables and a counter for dining. We went with our go to pepperoni and sausage and it did not disappoint! Plus the ranch dressing was homemade and very good! It was also great meeting the owner, Ray. His energy for the store is infectious and he even jumped in for a picture with our pie. Excited to go again soon to try the wings, plus more of menu as they expand! Very excited to have Emilio’s in Tega Cay!”

“Me and my friends had our book club meeting here for the first time, we went at 5pm on a Monday and it was very quiet, clean and our server was very friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. They had a summer rose flight of 3 for $15 that some of us tried and it was really good! We also orders appetizers such as the caprese and pepperoni Flatbread, hummus and spinach artichoke dip. We were all happy with the food. It did get a little more crowded to host a book club towards 6-7pm but thats as expected with the dinner hour rush. The prices are reasonable. Our only minor complaint was that the appetizer plates for sharing were on the small side”

“I went to Hobo's last night for a friend's birthday. We sat outside for karaoke. I have wanted to sing karaoke for awhile but I've always been way too nervous!! DJ Swin (please tag him!) did such an awesome job at hyping up the audience AND the singers! it didn't matter what your singing ability was he made you feel great about getting up there! People were being silly and having fun which is what karaoke is all about! So when my hubby asked me to sing with him I did! I got up there and actually had a lot of fun. So thank you for hosting this and thank you to DJ Swin for making this a really welcoming event! We'll be back!”

“Blue Bar & Smokehouse did a great job with smoked turkeys for CRHS JROTC Cadetsgiving! The process for ordering was quick, easy, and all I had to do was pay at pickup! My son said folks who attended the event were very complimentary of the turkeys and I will definitely be ordering from here again for any catering needs that pop up.”

“Karaoke Thursday was awesome. Several very talented singers were in the house. The draft beer selection seemed extensive however several of the options were unavailable. Surprisingly there were no seasonal options such as pumpkin or Octoberfest beers. Our server was very attentive and kept our drinks filled throughout the evening. One low point was the food offerings. We ordered several items and everything seemed to be frozen and not freshly prepared in house. Specifically the chicken strips ordered were of good quality however were processed frozen strips. The burgers are angus grade according to the menu but are frozen. One positive note is they have tater tots. All of the food received was hot and prepared as expected. The prices for the food and beer are reasonable. Overall. A good time and a fun time.”

The outdoor area has lots of seating with plenty of shade in the summer and fire pits in the cooler weather. The Dining Car is the food truck serving fantastic food. They are so personable, kind, and welcoming, not to mention they make amazing cocktails! We frequent the Foxhole often simply because Janet and David are some of the best bartenders around. The chicken quesadilla is one of our favorites, stuffed and full of flavor. They also have a tasty Hog Heaven Pizza loaded with pepperoni, diced ham, sausage, and bacon. It’s a mega personal size, great for pairing with other appetizers. Plus they serve breakfast all day and stay open until 2:00 am for those late‑night munchies! If you haven’t been yet, be sure to check them out soon!”

“Everything Megan does she pours her heart into. The details in her cookies are impeccable and her macarons are the tastiest we’ve ever had! She even designed a custom “press for champagne” cookie for our truck and made so many sample combinations until the cookie design was just perfect! Megan also has all the fun toys like a food printer and a Glowforge for custom cake toppers. She even printed our truck on a tiny macaron. How cool is that?!? We love to use Made by Megan Jayne bakery and always recommend her to our clients. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I wanted a goofy teamed cake for my daughter’s birthday and I across Medha’s Classy Cakes n Cookies. She made it a breeze to finalize the design I wanted and suggested on the flavors. A week before the event we had to change the date of celebrations, to which even though her schedule was full She did not step back, and delivered it on time. The cake was a super hit, how I wished to have ordered for a bigger cake for everyone to enjoy it. I will never looks for another baker than Medha in future. Thank you Medha!!”

Service can be a little slow. The last 3 times ordering takeout, my order has been 10-15min later than what the projected pickup time is on my online receipt.”

“Beautiful place. Not sure what the hype is about, purchased a few items and we were kind of shocked at the quality issues. A couple cupcakes with a vanilla base were clearly burned (you could smell the bottoms) and they were dry, presumably from being over baked. The cookie bar was unique, the cookie was a bit too done but the concept and flavor was neat! I’d get the bar again but would not get cupcakes again, nor the cookies—there is a difference in underbaked vs. soft.”

Beef lo mein is delicious and savory with amazing chewy noodles. Crispy vegetables and lots of beef.

Singapore mei fun was really good and highly recommended. Lots of proteins and noodles. Lasted 3 meals with leftovers! Perfect spice level.

The friend wontons are filled with pork and use a crispy and chewy wrapper. Must try if you like friend wontons or crab rangoon.

Crab Rangoon was cooked well and very crispy with lots of filling inside. All of the pieces were filled with a crab/cheese/scallion mixture that was delicious. This will be a staple.

Chicken udon is super flavorful with great textures. Crispy vegetables, flavorful chewy noodles, and perfectly cooked chicken. Definitely worth it!

Edamame is steamed nicely without being overdone. Comes pre-salted and is spot on.”
