“I stopped it for the first time after seeing high reviews on Google. I have very limited experience with Jamaican and Caribbean style food, but I've really enjoyed what I've had in the past and always like crepes, so I decided to try it out. I got the curried oxtail (my first time trying oxtail in general) and fried sweet plantains and was ELATED with my decision! The oxtail was so tender and incredibly seasoned, amazing flavor. From the first few bites, I started texting friends to rave about how delicious it was. (My photo was also after a few bites)The staff were also lovely and attentive. I happened to come in during a very slow period, but they struck a good balance of checking in and leaving me alone to enjoy my meal.Overall I was so happy with my meal and highly recommend it!“
“Easy and relaxing burger joint with 'adult' milkshakes, crafty cocktails, and some good beer. It is family friendly though it would not be my first choice. Rather tight quarters.Parking: Not a big lot, but enough space for a smallish burger joint.“
“Very friendly and great service. The owners were patient and informative about the large menu options. I got a plain hot dog and it tasted just like the ones you would get from New York, if not better. The Italian ice was great, the texture was unlike anything I’ve ever had. Very light, and fluffy! The walking taco was great as well. They have a bunch of different toppings and combinations. I will definitely be back to try some more of the menu!“
“A few girlfriends and I had a wonderful evening at Sermet’s tonight— the food was DIVINE. The ambiance in the courtyard with Keith Miller’s music couldn’t have been better. Our waitress was perfectly attentive and pleasant, too. We’re already planning our next dinner back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free accommodations“
“Tanner took care of us the two late mornings in a row eating here. I was most impressed by the “Natural Blonde” heirloom tomato bloody mary; comes with a mini-pickled okra and a big green olive & is absolutely crave-worthy delicious! We had the Mexican Hash and Huevos the second day and avo toast the first day - it all tasted so good. Ask for Tanner when you go and please, get the Natural Blonde (with Mezcal in it) to wet yer whistle!“
“Stopped by Nothing Bundt Cakes in Summerville and was delighted with my choice of bundtlets! Each bite was a burst of moist, flavorful perfection. The staff was friendly, and the store ambiance was inviting. A must-visit for sweet treat lovers!“
“Went for me and my hubbies anniversary. We were greeted and sat immediately. The hostess was so polite. Our waiter Nathan, was efficient in serving us and made our night so special. The food was amazing, and it was spotless clean. Will be dining here again. Highly recommend!!“
“Arrived before the dinner rush, seated quickly. The eggplant with minced pork had no spice or heat and the szechuan chicken had no numbing peppercorns n very limited hot peppers. All the vegetables in the dishes were very fresh, nice crunch.“
“Just an amazing place and Sara at the front is so helpful and knowledgeable about the membership yes there’s a pool back there! Just a great overall experience absolutely love the food. Try the tuna salad you will not regret it.!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free vegan and moreKid-friendliness: Family friendly environment“
“I have been waiting for years, since early COVID, to get some Bang Bang Eggs Benedict. Sometime during COVID it was removed from their brunch menu and I have been checking religiously every month for it's return. Well, good news everyone, ITS BACK! I was so excited to see it on the menu, we went first thing on a Saturday morning and was treated to something memory couldn't do justice. I love bonefish for all their food, their fish is amazing their drinks are incredible, I love the service and the atmosphere is a step above other places for comparable prices, but at the end of the day the Bang Bang Shrimp, and subsequently the bang bang eggs Benedict, is what keeps me coming back for me. Excited to start coming here way too often again!“
“The Five Guys burger is easily one of my favorite burgers. They are certainly pricier than just about any other burger I know, but they are very satisfying, and I’m a huge fan of the fries as well. Five Guys is definitely the place to go when you want to make your cheat day count! lol!“
“this place changed ownership and had their ups & downs, but the food is close to where it used to be.always fresh and good;the wait staff is trained well but the hush puppies are missing something- tell me i'm wrong**update**i went to high school with a guy named Mark Christian and if i remember, correctly- his parents owned or operated the ladson rd location. i think they moved and so i assumed ownership had changed. apologies for the misinformation and keep up the good work!!p.s. how about a friday & saturday special; fish & fries for $12.99 b4 5pm?(shrimp & fries or oyster po boy and fries too)“
“Smokey Bones in North Charleston has the best steak and baby back ribs is melts in your mouth and it's delicious the service there is great I've been in numerous the times and I don't think you can find any place better to have a meal and the atmosphere is nice alsoParking: Depending what time you go you can get parking but I think I was holidays anniversaries for some folks it can be kind of difficult but if you're patient enough you can get inWheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking they have a lot of space for that and it's accessible to the restaurant you shouldn't have no problem and if you do and let the people inside know that come out and help you“
“This little pizzeria has the best food! Every ingredient is so fresh and cooked to perfection. We had the black and bleu salad and margherita pizza. The pizza is big enough to split with 2 people. Each person gets 3 medium size slices. We were very happy with the service we had and it's a nice relaxing place to eat outside in the shade under some oak trees.“
“I really enjoyed our overall experience - Southern Hospitality at it's finest. The food was great, good prices and the Customer Service was outstanding and personalized. It was our first time here so the manager came to chat with us a bit and gave us some goodies, including a free appetizer for our next visit and a bag of peanuts. But the highlight of our experience was our server: Brenndon - He was superb!!! I'm wheelchair bound and he was super accommodating and attentive to my needs. Thank you ? ?“
“I ordered a take-away 1/2 sandwich 1/2 soup combo. It was ready when they said it would be. I was a little concerned when I realized the soup was in the same box as the sandwich, but the lid fit tightly and didn't leak a drop. East Bay's food is always good and you have quite a choice.“
“My family had an amazing time at Gilligan's! So worth it.I hadn't been there in literal years (like over a decade lol) and wasn't sure if if would still be good, but my daughter wanted seafood and since it's just as expensive to buy it to make it at home, we went out.We got a crab boil plate and it was more than enough to share and was so delicious. The cajun seasoning was on point, the potatoes were cooked properly and buttery soft. The crab was delicious, and the shrimp were huge ! Also there was oysters and smoked sausage. Completely worth the money and dining out as the service was great too.My husband got a fried shrimp lunch special and it was fried to perfection, though he said we could have all shared the crab boil because it was so much food. (NGL, more crab for me so I'm glad he got his food?)If you haven't been to Gilligan's on St. James, I'd recommend it. The prices I think were super reasonable. I feel like going out these days is so expensive for subpar food and service but this was excellent.Parking: Lots of parking spots.Kid-friendliness: They have kids menus, and the decor is colorful.“
