“What a great spot!! We came in for a drink this afternoon and were pleasantly surprised by the open atmosphere and large menu! The apps were delicious, and the drinks were great too! Can't wait to go back for one of the many events they host.“
“LoLA is a great place for casual dining. We had arrived early, but the only space was the heated tent. My partner and I shifted spaces to accommodate the differences in our personal thermostats. The result was mutual comfort.I had called earlier, confirming LoLA had soft shell crab. The waitress knew that the crab had been a luncheon special, but did not know about dinner.Soft shell crab was on for dinner. I ordered the po'boy sandwich and my partner ordered the crab salad. We had the cajan shrimp poppers. They were delicious with juicy, moist shrimp in flavorful crisp coating. Our crab dishes arrived. We were disappointed. Crab has a soft delicate flavor. Unfortunately, this was overpowered by the highly seasoned, heavily breaded coating on our crustaceans. Was this bad? No! But not what we had anticipated. Entirely our fault. We have been to LoLA before, enjoyed the fare. Will certainly be back, but not for soft shell crab.“
“Absolutely wonderful drinks and food! The food was delicious, high quality, and the drinks are very good too! I had the steak and eggs, I had to chew the steak a bit (probably just the cut of meat) but it was cooked right and very tasty! The truffle fries are ADDICTIVE! I also tasted the biscuits and gravy and salmon toast, everything was delicious! It’s a beautiful spot on the water.“
“I enjoyed the fish and chips, but I’ll definitely stick to the half option next time. The restaurant was semi full and my order came about 15+ minutes after I gave it. The environment was not what I would bring my family to sit and eat in, maybe the outside seating. Inside is more of a fellas vibe.“
“I stopped it for the first time after seeing high reviews on Google. I have very limited experience with Jamaican and Caribbean style food, but I've really enjoyed what I've had in the past and always like crepes, so I decided to try it out. I got the curried oxtail (my first time trying oxtail in general) and fried sweet plantains and was ELATED with my decision! The oxtail was so tender and incredibly seasoned, amazing flavor. From the first few bites, I started texting friends to rave about how delicious it was. (My photo was also after a few bites)The staff were also lovely and attentive. I happened to come in during a very slow period, but they struck a good balance of checking in and leaving me alone to enjoy my meal.Overall I was so happy with my meal and highly recommend it!“
“This place is one of the best, their shrimp and grits is phenomenal. Our server Jessica was the greatest. Definitely recommend her to and their amazing food to everyone. We will definitely be back and request Jessica as our server everytime.“
“Snafu has quickly become one of my favorite places to hang out, drink the best sours you'll find anywhere, and have fun with all the events and trucks they have visit. The staff is one of the biggest bonuses as is the brewery dog she is the sweetest. The rotation of sours is always bringing me back weekly if not more and the price for a crowler can't be beat. More pictures to come but for now I'll show off the food from the seol ahs truck they have about weekly“
“The atmosphere is the best part of the place. I had the smash burger , my wife ordered hot chicken, I should have got the chicken It was much better than my burger. They serve cocktails nice mimosas. The place seems a bit pricey though. The breakfast look top-tier. This wouldn't be my go-to spot if I was a local. It's right next to the suites so it has a touristy pricepoint. Cheesy grits were perfect though. That's a nice hush puppies too. It's well organized counter means you walk up to the counter, order , go sit and they bring it to you. It's fast thorough and the food was outstanding--a tad bit greasy but definitely tasty. I'm on vacation so I was very pleased I found this place, I'll be back for the chicken and waffles in the morning outstanding ice cream desert. Thanks Grit Counter.“
“Trying out this place for the first time, and I am loving it! The beer is very flavorful and the atmosphere is chill. The coconut stout is amazing! It's not too loud, they have card games on the tables, and you can actually have a conversation without being drowned out by noise or music. Great place to unwind on a Friday night compared to many other bars or brew pubs!“
“I love the restaurant, but my review comes from a different perspective...Dashi catered our wedding with their paella party format. We had tapas for cocktail hour and the paella, salad, and a side for dinner. Our guests were raving about how good and unique the food was! I was also very impressed with how easy the team was to work with from initial contact, contract agreement, and service and clean up on the day of. Everything went so smoothly and we loved it! Thank you to Oscar & the team for being amazing!!Dietary restrictions: The customized to allow for vegan and dairy free options easily.“
“I am a couch potato old lady and dislike exercise. Therefore, I was shocked at how much fun I had learning how to play pickle ball! The instructor was helpful and full of enthusiasm. I enjoyed the clinic for beginners, the beer, and food. They make their own pickles! The bathroom was sparkly clean with soft paper towels. I recommend The Pickle Bar for everyone, the game is so easy to learn and play.“
“Very laid back atmosphere. Food was great and service was very good. I had a burger and battered fries. I was definitely not disappointed. The burger was juicy and well cooked. Also, the fried mushrooms were delicious, and the serving size was very ample. The beignets were yummy, too.I will definitely return whenever I am in the area.“
“IF... You WANT a cup of Coffee, they ain't NO place better'nCoastal Coffee Roasters!!You can buy it by the cup, pound bag - beans or ground,or even the LARGE Economy size150 pound unroasted sack!(Better to let CCR do the roastin'!!)“
“Tideland Brewing is easily my favorite brewery in Charleston! The first time we came here we planned to brewery hop and ended up staying all day!! The bartenders have become some of my favorite people over the years, the atmosphere is amazing, beers are all so great, and the food is phenomenal! Despite being counter service only, they work together so that you aren't waiting long to order! It is a great place to be, I couldn't ask for anything better!“
“recommend to me by a coworker these people not only know what they’re doing but also take very good care of their fellow f&b employees. respect. i got a fish taco n a shrimp taco n they were gone in about 2 min bf got birria plate w fries n he said the tacos were good i couldn’t stop eating his fries w their house sauce they’re addicting lol“
“This place is awesome! Friendly bartenders, great beers, I mean... who makes their own soda? These guys do. The nostalgia of the video game systems, the great space, it's a perfect mix. I've brought several friends here and will be coming here as regularly as possible.“
“Food was fantastic! Bloody Mary's were as well! The food takes a tad longer to come out than at a typical joint, but the thought, quality, and flavors of the food is above and beyond so the little extra time is so worth it. Were I a local I would be a regular. Highly recommended. Highly impressed. Great spot.“
“Chido Taco Truck is a Must Stop for delicious & fresh prepared street tacos, burritos, tortas & more off 526 at Dorchester in the Harley Davidson parking lot. This customer-oriented family business provides friendly service & great food!“

“Vegetarian options: A lot of options for vegetarians. Vegan cookies are insanely good. Cashew icing is amazing. Very filling.Dietary restrictions: Most options than I've found in Charleston for vegan goodies. Vegan cookies are insanely good. Cashew icing is amazing. Very filling.“
“A little upset with my service yesterday. There was an event for my kiddos school and we used to eat here all the time. My grandpa is Filipino so it was nice! Their chicken lumpia is absolutely delicious but the person taking my order messed up my order, and when I asked them to fix it, they told me no, I would have to pay again for what I wanted because the cashier apparently misheard me so my son had to wait until we got home to eat something else.“
“This is my honest review after taking a chance on this place. The bad reviews had me scared, but I'm glad we came. We had a sweet waitress who kept our glasses full and kept checking on us. I got the pbj burger and macaroni salad and it was delicious! My husband got the yeti burger and tater tots and was pleasantly surprised. I would come again.“
“I went with 3 others on a sunny Saturday after attending Brewvival nearby. We were seated immediately, right at the front of the restaurant by the big windows that were streaming light into the bar area. This is a fantastic date spot and venue for small groups of friends who want to enjoy some good conversation. I am sure I will be back soon!“
“If you are looking for a higher quality beer experience, this is a contender. I tried beers straight off their taps, and there aren't many doing this quality of work. Everything I sampled was well above the benchmark. They have something for everyone.“
“What an exceptional atmosphere, with a wonderful staff and some great selections of wine. The staff and ownership are engaging and want to make this a great experience. There are a group of regulars that come in and are like family. This is a gem of a place! P.S. Don't miss the Tuesday wine tastings... you learn alot in a short amount of time, and get to sample some great selections!“
“1st time coming here and must say, it's very nice. Love the decor throughout and the outdoor space is huge. I've never been one to change from my normal drink but I told the bartender lady my usual drink of choice and she made me an awesome drink that I would have never thought of, well done. We'll definitely be coming back... thank you. Sorry no pics, will get some next time for sure“
“I love coming to Tattooed Moose every time I'm in town. Great food, service, and vibes. I love the Duck Club and the duck fat fries. The Morrocan Gyro is also a huge hit. They offer a large selection of craft beers as well. Live music on the weekends so be sure to check them out. The food is amazing.Update on 4/10/2024. Back in town for work, I stopped by this gem for dinner. Never disappoints. The Duck Club and fries are still amazing. The table has hummus as an appetizer. Still fantastic service and reasonable prices.“

Our drinks never went dry and she had a great home-feeling smile.Building: The building is spacious and very well taken care of. The bathrooms are clean.Food: The oven roasted green olives with garlic were delicious. The seeds caught me off guard. Apparently my teeth can’t chew them. The thin crust pizzas were great.Speed:everything came out fast.Parking: The parking is on the street and could be difficult to find.Star rating: 5 because of the price and the waitress was the best I’ve had in a long time.I have no problem coming back here every chance I get.If this review helped, please hit the thumbs up and give me a follow.Vegetarian options: Have to check the website.Dietary restrictions: You have to check the website.Parking: Parking can be hard to find on the street. “It is an old ice house and a very comfortable feeling inside. The hamburgers are the best we have ever gotten here. Waitress was attentive and personable. Shrimp and grits and chicken fried steak excellent as well. Fries are the best around as well. Prices were very reasonable. Will come back again!“
“I recently went to Famulari's for the first time. Hands down one of the best experiences I've had at any restaurant. We were immediately greeted and seated on a Frida night which was nice, but there were a lot of people in the restaurant. I have celiac disease so I can't have any food in contact with wheat, and I let my sweet server, Brittney, know. She want above and beyond to make sure my food wouldn't be contaminated and her manager even personally made my pizza. I had no issues after eating my pizza, not to mention it was delicious! Thank you Famulari's!!! I will be backDietary restrictions: They have gluten free crust and even went above and beyond to make sure my pizza was made separately from the regular dough pizzas“
“The brewery here is good not great. The beers like many other breweries need to go down smoother, ipas can be smooth and hoppy- not mutually exclusive. However, the new BBQ purveyors here are absolutely top notch! Swig and Swine now provides their amazing meats (and salads).“
“We tried these at the Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market. The gentleman selling them was talkative ans very kind, asking us questions about your lives and sharing about Charleston cuisine. The peanuts are soft and delicious. We love the Cajun the best because they have a kick, but if you don't like spicy, regular is the better option. We will try the garlic next time because they looked great too!“
“Valerie was our waitress and she is seriously the BEST! Right when we walked in we were greeted with a warm smile. She was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and had great recommendations. She is one of the friendliest people I have had the pleasure of being waited on by! The food is incredible as well, everything came out hot and fresh. Great portions for the price too! We will be back definitely! Valerie just made our experience here the BEST!“
“I’ve never had an experience with any negativity. Everyone there is beyond friendly. I’ve come in at all hours of operation, ordering anything from a small drink for me, my household, or even my entire work crew. They’ve never been anything but professional and amazing.Dietary restrictions: They have different milks, non drinks, chicken and turkey sausage and other pork substitute, and I ginormous variety of pastriesParking: There’s maybe a dozen parking spots but they have two drive thrus so it never takes longKid-friendliness: Our kids love coming inside and seeing the sweets and the friendly crew when we stop to get coffee.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a disability parking spot and a ramp“
