“Rachel was an excellent waitress (Saturday, March 2, 2024)!!! After reading great reviews, we decided to try this restaurant. We were told it is the best restaurant in town. My husband Jay loved his steak dinner. He said it was well worth the price! I agreed that it was seasoned to perfection! Nice atmosphere. Rachel did a great job of answering my husband's questions that he usually has at a new place before he picks his entree. God Bless all of you for your great work. “1st time trying Groucho's Deli and it was good though not what this NY/MD girl is used to! I ordered a turkey/Salami/cheese/mayo with lettuce sub. My daughter got turkey/cheese/lettuce/tomato. My son got turkey/lettuce/mayo. We ordered a sub thinking we'd be getting a full sub like back in MD/NY (1/2 for lunch, 1/2 for dinner) but they were much smaller! The side of sauce they came with not sure what it was but it was absolutely delicious!! Now that we know what to expect I'm sure we'll be back!“

“Great pub grub and atmosphere. Disappointed there wasn't poutine on the menu anymore (showed on google). Burger was hands down one of the best we have had. Fried pickles were crisp and flavorful aoili. Delightful courtyard outside. Would absolutely go back.“
“Great breakfast good friendly atmosphere I will recommend. We had grits, eggs and sausage and toast. My husband had an omelette and good coffee. My grand daughter had bacon and pancakes she enjoyed her meal. The food was ready within a good timely manner. Nice place I enjoyed it.“

Bacon thin and crispy, fried chicken fingers dipped in cream and sausage gravy with a soft tender biscuit, fried potatoes, link sausages, scrambled eggs and loaded scrambled eggs, french toast sticks, fresh cantalope, but the honeydew melon was not ripe enough. Green jello fluff, Fresh strawberries in OVERLY sweet sauce, now that would have been so much better if they had just put out fresh strawberries and let you put on your own strawberry sweet sauce to taste. I love that you can order a fluffy pancake to eat with the breakfast buffet. Atmosphere is a bit noisy, probably due to the lack of carpeting, but I prefer clean floors over dirty carpeting anyday. Waitress was friendly, but didnt come around much to check on our large group of 12, had to flag someone down to get ketchup and little later a customer from another table came over and asked if they could use our ketchup, so obviously the waitresses arent checking if people need something often enough. I dont recall them trying to refill our drinks, either. Hmmm maybe we should reevaluate how we tip?Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp, but there are 2 sets of doors to maneuver. Maybe call and ask someone to come out and help you thru the doors.“
“My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of dining at Shug's on January 27th for dinner. It was a first for us. The wait time was about an hour which was not so bad considering how busy it was. We were seated in the middle of restaurant and our service was prompt.We ordered the pulled pork nachos as an appetizer. The nachos were okay, they were a little over sauced and a bit salty but overall they were okay. The BBQ sauce was tasty and the pork was okay, could've been seasoned more.For our main dish we both ordered steak and baked potato with a ceasar salad. I ordered the NY Strip..medium... The e seasoning and the cook were excellent. My girlfriend ordered the filet. She said it was excellent. The only issue with it was the fact that they butterflied the filet. With a cut like a filet that seems odd unless they are unsure of how to cook it. The steaks were very tender and juicy. I would highly recommend it. The baked potatoes and salad were greatWe will definitely go back and visit again.“

“I absolutely love this place. I struggle with going out to eat by myself. I pushed myself to go in and sit down to eat. Glad I did. My waitress found out I was a new customer and was excited and told me that I am family now. I felt completely comfortable. The food was on point concerning I cook at home. It was nice having a REAL hand pressed burger patty with fresh veggies and pimento cheese. The real French fries are great also. I ate it all. Thank you Ruth's! Glad to know I have family there next time I come to South Carolina! Service was so amazing I left her a 22.00 dollar tip! So worth it.“
