“We ate at Tubb’s with our very rambunctious kids. The food was great, I had the crab cake sandwich, but what really shined were the hush puppies with the pimento cheese sauce. Our waiter also brought a side of key lime butter, which was amazing. Our waiter was over the top attentive and kind. Definitely recommend.“
“I enjoy the family feel. The menu gives you plenty of options to make you not have to order the same thing twice for a while. Love the portion sizes! The staff are usually pretty attentive and make sure you get your order right. I would just like them to give a greeting at the door and also have some additional parking.Big credit to Rell who is always positive and pushing forward. This is a staple in the community I grew up in! Ima return customer for sure.“
“Lil Jazzi is moving into the nightlife, catering to an older crowd of 30 years old and above. During my visit for a birthday event, we were able to reserve at table for our party of six. The DJ played a mix of old-school jams, mainly from the 70's and 80s. As I was the only millennial in the room, I did appreciate the few early 2000 jams he threw in specifically for me ?At one point, the owner played a trivia game with the entire restaurant and with everyone participating, it was a hit with the crowd.As for food, the wings were free. The home fries were delicious and freshly fried to order. The Lil'Jazzi special with Tea & wine was right up my alley. The menu was sparse. Only a food few items were available. This may be due to the night time hours being new for the restaurant.The owner was wonderful. She helped with whatever we needed and at the end of the night I saw her helping the staff clean up. The place was a typical plaza size eatery. It was clean and the staff were friendly.I enjoyed the event. I'd suggest a karaoke night and maybe a couple themed parties.“
“Great food and excellent service! We went tonight for the wing buffet. It’s only $13.99 plus tax. That price dues not include the drink. They have 14 types of wings on the buffet along with fries, homemade chips, green beans and baked beans. Delicious!!“
“We finally made it to Victors, located in downtown Florence inside lobby of hotel (I forgot hotel name). There is a casual section in front with bar and formal in back but it is semi-casual IMO as saw guy with shorts beside us. The seating had a sheik pattern that gave off modern vibes perfect for relaxed atmosphere. The bread was delivered on a S.C. shaped board although our server pointed out that it was actually upside down. Small unique quirks like this can push review ratings into higher territory for me. Starter of fried oyster was ok but raw is better for us. I wanted to enjoy my meal no matter cost so chose scallops served on grits with spinach, it was great. My wife chose catch of the day, presentation was on point, props to the chef. Wife choice for dessert was cheesecake can't go wrong there. There is a courtyard just outside on hotel grounds perfect for photos. Nice spot for special dinner or casual stop-in, downtown Florence.“
“DO NOT OVERLOOK this real gem in Florence, across the street from the Hyatt & 1/2 block from Hotel Florence (super hotel by the way!!). Most notable here is the open pit charcoal grill on which all meats & other grilled food items are prepared. No electric grill but authentic charcoal! I had the NY strip & my spouse enjoyed the filet. Both were tender & yummy. Do Not Miss the “peas,” which are really black-eyed beans with the most DELICIOUS aromatic sauce. Paired with the Carolina rice they could be a meal in themselves if not for the large steak portion. Brussel sprouts were excellent, a little crispy the way I like them with a subtle but flavorful mustard sauce. The special appetizer was fried oysters on top of deviled eggs-very tasty!! Good bar cocktail menu & wine selection. Professional staff & we found the service attentive & prompt (Thanks Desmond, our server). Highly recommended for a solid meal, great ambiance, & reasonable pricing.“

“Passing through Florence (like everyone else LOL) and needed some eats. 1720 was a good choice, homemade burgers and fries, great option given all of the other fast food in the area.We just stuck to the basics, couple of custom burgers and fries. Everything was cooked well, fries were hot and very good. Full bar, plenty of options.We would definitely recommend 1720 to anyone passing through.“

“Woodstone has truly "cooked up" a Blue Ribbon restaurant and destination venue with their new Ownership and reLocation into the heart of Florence.Over the past several years (when normally it would decline), Woodstone has only gotten better and better.The food is HOT and FRESH,The wait staff is Numerous and friendly, refilling the Tea non stop sometimes.The buffet selection is amazing.Several of my favorites are the Friend Squash and Fried Shrimp!The pulled pork barbeque has flavor in depth and subtly.The hot and cold deserts are too good to pass up.Just these few positives above are what makes the LINE go out the door most days.If you haven't been to Woodstone in a while, you need to check it out.They are the BEST BBQ buffet in the Pee Dee!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegatables to pick from, however make sure before hand if they were cooked with any non-Veg seasonings.Parking: There is parking lot surface parking all the way around the restaurant, if you come at 12 or 6 then it may be full!!Kid-friendliness: This is a typical buffet setting, so kids are more than welcome and if you have Picky eaters, they will find something here.“
“My first time back to a Shoneys in 20yrs. 45m. It invoked huge memories of Nostalgia.Everything seemed as if it was unchanged.We went for a Saturday Breakfast Buffet.Food was plentiful and hot, our server kept our drinks topped up.It was a solid 4 star meal.Not sure when I'll be back, but it scratched the nostalgia itch for sure.“
“I went today 12/30/23 to pick up something quick for my mom who was just released from the hospital.The order was wrong which they corrected it should have kept the other food. Eggs were hard when we asked for scrambled medium and cold. My eggs were not even cooked still very raw. It wAs poached but raw not good so I never got my eggs then I had a handful of cold potatoes. She clearly just moved the potatoes from one bin to another. Egg muffin was the same not fresh and the Canadian sausage was dry. Very disappointed. Will not be going back for a while. Hire cooks who don't have an attitude when u ask them to coôk it over“
“Delicious breakfast for $14.99. ALOT of food, plus it can be enough for 2 ppl. Also, food is HOT, I love great service and warm food. I took the tray home. I live 15 minutes away and the food was still hot. I just wish the parking lot was bigger. They were filled at 8:30 am when I went on a Friday....“
“We dined in on a Sunday. The prices are VERY REASONABLE and the breakfast was good (we did return a plate of eggs because they were cold but that is largely the responsibility of the wait staff and not the cooks). We ordered the buffet to go. Yes, they have a SCRUMPTIOUS BUFFET and the food is definitely HOME ÇOOKED. Now, if you dine in and order the buffet, you can eat until you are content. If you order a buffet to go the rules are different. They are as follows:1. You WILL NOT prepare your buffet to go styrofoam container, someone will walk down the line with you and place your choices in the container.2. You are only ALLOWED 1 meat, 3 sides, and a dessert. Yes they have a salad bar but that was not given in the list of options.So, if you are good with these rules of engagement, the to-go buffet is for you and yes, the food was DELICIOUS! However, we are returning (of course) and we will dine in AND take a to-go box for dinner! So, if you are in the area you MUST come by to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the delicious food.“
“I love the waffle house, and the beautiful ladies that work there and a couple of guys. My pregnancy cravings are always filled. We get the Texas Bacon Cheese Melt with double hash browns double cheese and double smoked ham, I get mushrooms on mine and I get grilled mushrooms on the side STORM is the BEST I know my order will be right and it will be good. If you ever stop in ask if Storm is there I promise you will not regret it.. ??The other ladies there are so sweet and nice and welcome everyone there is a jukebox with 100s of songs the atmosphere is amazing it's like being at home. Parking: They have a parking lot and they have handicap spots and wheelchair accessible.Kid-friendliness: Yes they love childrenWheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp for wheelchairs and everyone can roll in and eat.“
“This is one of my two favorite restaurants in Florence. The food is great, and they have some great twists on their appetizers (adding pickle and fried chicken to devilled eggs, for example). “Memorable experience. A family friendly, communal experience to a traveler from out of state, who was treated like a visiting celebrity. I asked for details about about the beer I selected, and the young lady tapper pointed to the owner and said, "Steven will be happy to answer any questions you have." Damn straight. He gave me a brewery tour and educated me, a decades old homebrewer.He crafts excellent beer, but more importantly, is an embassador that welcomes any and all as friends.“
“An old time hidden gem right in the heart of Florence. Their burgers are amazing. The people are friendly. This is a true neighborhood club with regular patrons. On nights when they don't have s*** dancing you can often find live music being played.“
“I have been eating here since the late 90's and they haven't disappointed yet! The fried oysters are one of my favorites along with the gyros and Greek grilled chicken salad, but no matter what entree I order, I ALWAYS, ALWAYS have to get an order of their onion rings! “I had a wonderful time. The food was great, service was excellent, the place was very clean. But when "46 year old Twitch streamer, Casoh" came in and obliterated everything and everyone's waffles. “The food and service were amazing. However, we were seated next to a lady with 2 dogs who were supposed to be service dogs. While I understand the need for them, I feel there should have been a separate seating area for them, or we should have been asked were we ok being seated next to them. When the lady got up to leave with her 2 dogs, one of them sneezed and shook. Which had the potential for dog hair to fly into people's food and on the table. Staffing didn't take into consideration allergies that others may have.“

“My husband always gets the pizza, sometimes he has a burger. He always orders the pizza with no sauce or oil and no extra seasoning sprinkled on top. He's allergic to garlic and onions. Several times we've had the kitchen manager take time out of his very busy schedule to come talk with us about the allergy note the waitress put on the order. We typically go on a Friday night to hear the live music and it is crowded so for him to come out and talk directly with us was something! We aren't beer drinkers so we can't comment on the brews. Love the fact that they do some special meals. I've had the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and Leroy Brown sauce. It's my favorite of the specials. The ham and Gouda cheese egg rolls are awesome too! Recently, I stepped out of my normal order and asked if they could modify the BLT and put pimento cheese instead of mayo. They were more than happy and now I have another favorite menu item! The pretzel and honey butter is always a hit!!“

“The food was fine, and we had fun. It was packed. People had been waiting for this area favorite to reopen, and it's been full ever since it has reopened. Because of this, parking may be scarce.Parking: Parking is tight and scarce when this business is really busy though they have nice sized parking lot. You MAY be able to park next door IF the business is closed.“

“I went recently and decided to try something new. I didn't care for it and that's totally fine. It wasn't something I'd ever had anywhere before and I am picky so I get that happens. A manager saw I didn't eat my food and convinced me to let her make me something else even though I told her that it was probably just me and not their fault. I think that was really kind. Also, my new food they fixed was really tasty! Love that level of caring that your customer is satisified!“
