He was funny, so helpful, accommodating and even got the order right. Definitely give him a kudos because he deserves it. I got a plain hot dog and it tasted just like the ones you would get from New York, if not better. The Italian ice was great, the texture was unlike anything I’ve ever had. Very light, and fluffy! “What a gem! The Knightsville General Store Cafe is really a hidden gem. They make one of my favorite summertime coffee specialty drinks (espresso poured over three scoops of ice cream!) along with all my other favorite coffee shop beverages. But that’s not all – they have an ice cream shop with a flavor for everyone, and all my favorite local goodies can be found in the General Store. This is the secret place where we can stop and pick up a casserole on the way home from work, too! There’s always some kind of event going on here, with craft shows or farmers market-type vendors, or food, truck lineups, And there are always wonderful family events and things to keep the kiddos busy. But the best part may be that this is where you can find an Italian beef sandwich that I can only describe as BETTER THAN P0RT!LL0$. So if you are craving that Chicago-style Italian beef sandwich, OR a Chicago-style dog, this is where you need to get it! Order that sammich with peppers and provolone, and you will not be disappointed (or with real giardiniera!) BILLY’S is there on-site making hot sammiches & dogs on Fri-Sat-Sun, but check their website or FB for current schedule. Seriously, it’s the best!!!“

“We love this place! The ice cream is delicious and the customer service is usually pretty good. Tonight we showed up at 7:30pm (they close at 8) and the tables were already packed up for the night. I asked the staff and they said the seating was already closed for the night. Which normally wouldn’t be a big deal but it’s very hard for our two year old to eat her ice cream in her car seat. I get wrapping things up 5-10 minutes before closing but 30 minutes before?? Great ice cream if you’re looking for something to go.“

“Totally unassuming spot in this strange outdoor mall. Most of the stores are closed by 4pm on a Tuesday. And the Ever Creamery sign might be broken? Or it isn't lit up outside. So you might not be expecting much. But we took a shot. And omg. This place is delicious. Prices are reasonable and the ice cream really was a surprise. I'm glad we gave it a chance. Go soon because I expect there should be a line out the door. We combined the banana and peanut butter chocolate ice creams. Maybe that's what Elvis would have done. Because the was incredible. “I ordered my food online and went to pick it up at the drive thru. The voice at the drive thru told me to drive up and pick up my order, but as we were we heard someone calling out my name. It was the shift manager with my food whom didn’t want me to wait in line so he brought it to my vehicle. He was very pleasant and polite and made sure my order was in tact. Love it!!“
