“My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of dining at Shug's on January 27th for dinner. It was a first for us. The wait time was about an hour which was not so bad considering how busy it was. We were seated in the middle of restaurant and our service was prompt.We ordered the pulled pork nachos as an appetizer. The nachos were okay, they were a little over sauced and a bit salty but overall they were okay. The BBQ sauce was tasty and the pork was okay, could've been seasoned more.For our main dish we both ordered steak and baked potato with a ceasar salad. I ordered the NY Strip..medium... The e seasoning and the cook were excellent. My girlfriend ordered the filet. She said it was excellent. The only issue with it was the fact that they butterflied the filet. With a cut like a filet that seems odd unless they are unsure of how to cook it. The steaks were very tender and juicy. I would highly recommend it.
