“2nd time here. First time was not a really good experience. We wrote it off to us going late. We arrived at 7:15 and they close at 8. So, we decided to try it again. We arrived around 5. The food on the buffet was exactly the same as the first time there. The food had obviously been on the buffet for quite some time. Most of it was luke warm at best and dried out. Empty desert trays were not filled. Additionally, we observed a young man fixing a to go order and placed some of the food in the tray with UN-gloved hands. Food needs to be fresh and hot. You seriously need to do better.”

The four of us ordered something different and everything was delicious!!! The waitress kept checking on us, too, before we left! Great food, service, and atmosphere!!! “I was very excited to go there with a couple of my friends because I heard it was great. Our Margaritas had so much sour mix in them. The manager did try to correct it by making new ones, but they still were not good. The service was not good. I even asked the manager if our server was new. We had to ask for water, napkins and a plate so my friend could put together the fajitas that she ordered. There were so many refried beans on my salad that it was soupy. The refried beans were very watery. I was definitely disappointed and I won't be going back.”

“We went last week for lunch. It was great, had not been in about 2 years or so but Wanda never fails. She spoke to us as soon as we walked in. Chatted on and off while we were there. If you haven’t been there, give it a try. You will not be disappointed.”

“My favorite restaurant in moncks corner! My husband and I eat here almost weekly. The service is always on point (seriously, everyone is so nice!), their tartar is one of my favorites, and the sushi boat is so cute and fun!”

“Honestly I never write reviews that often but we were so pleased with the food, cold brew and service. And the outside sitting made our day! We wished to sit in the greenhouse but honestly sitting outside and enjoying the best bagel we have had down here since moving down from NJ. Little pricey but I’m telling you it’s worth it!!! We are bringing my family back next week just because we enjoyed it that much. The indoor/outdoor in the back is great for gatherings 😍”

“First time visiting your restaurant had a good time on a Tuesday afternoon. We wanted out of the heat and our bartender Neff (spelling) was wonderful friendly and engaging. When she left later in the afternoon the next shift came on and the incoming bartender said see that group they hate me. Very negative to speak about customers in front of other customers. The good vibe of the day was lost as soon as we heard that come out of her mouth. Suggestion to the manager if the bar tender feels that way keep it to herself. Blackeye for the buisness hearing stuff like that. We will come back and try again hopefully the l bartender will learn don't talk about customers when other customers are listening. Service was marked down to the negative comments about other customers.”

“You pretty much can't go wrong in ordering. You'll definitely love them all unless you're picky, and in that case, they literally accommodate and allow
substitutions too!

Vegetarian options: Don't eat at least 6 hours before going, so you'll be hungry and eat all of your dinner! If not, they show take- home of leftovers, even the free salsa and chips!

“I went to Chris's Place Bar for the band, but since it was a charity event it involved free food - I mean great food - and giveaways for those who purchased raffle tickets. It was a great time, nice people, great band, great outdoors section, etc. And no one cared that I didn't own a motorcycle or leather jacket.

“My family and I ate here on Sunday when traveling through to a church service, and I must say the food did not disappoint! This was my first time eating Jamaican food and I’ll say, it won’t be my last. I will most definitely be traveling back through Moncks Corner to dine with them again. It’s about a 1.5 hour drive from my home, but I will be back! Also, the young lady that was our server was very sweet.”

“My husband and I & My son ate there last night. It was my son's first time eating there & he just absolutely Loved it and wanted to give them a 5 Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating! 😊 The service was great and our food was delicious and ready within 5-6 minutes after ordering. And that was dining in not going through drive thru. This was mine and my husband's 2nd time eating there & it was really good the first time as well. My son really liked the food that he told the lady who took our order all about it and everything. And told her that he became their #1 fan & how everyone should come eat there. He was so thankful for us taking him and wanted to keep telling the lady how pleased he was, that she ended up making him a chocolate milkshake at no charge. He was so excited ☺️☺️ and then me and my husband ended up ordering us milkshakes as well !!”

“Pretty typical for a strip mall Chinese restaurant, but considering it is right next to a grocery store you know it has to be good. Quality was great and really quick. Ordered for 5 people and it was done in less than 20 minutes.”

“Pizza is really good. It was our first time having it. I was waiting on our Pizza and the young man that was making it came over to me and said the Pizza had come apart when he was trying to get it out and they are making a new one really quick. Most places would have thrown the destroyed Pizza in a box and given it to you. I'm glad they care enough to make a proper Pizza. We also had the peanut butter cookies. I think they put magic in those. So good!”

“Just had the best experience at Slim chickens! We don’t have one where we live so we always stop by when coming to visit family. Amy provided the BEST customer service I’ve ever had at any dining experience! She went above and beyond to take care of us, even going as far as making sure my dessert are stayed cold for our drive home!!! The food taste amazing and I love the slim sauce! We will definitely be back!”

“This place is pretty good, they have a nice sushi menu and a few good rolls but only one really suits my tastes personally. It’s not bad, more average but if you’re into very flavorful sushi it’s not for you.”

“Pretty basic, drive thru, get a menu, tell the lady what you want, pay, and if someone pulls up behind you, she'll ask you to drive around so she can help the next customer. Usually, about a 10-15 min wait. The food is freshly hot and so good.

She's somewhat closed off but blunt. Don't expect excellent customer service, but the food makes up for it!”

The buffet is very good and clean, Go to the buffet for takeout. I like this because I can get a little bit of everything, Great atmosphere! Delish tried all the Chinese restaurants in Moncks Corner area. This is the best! You get a lot of food when you order takeout also.

Parking: It's in the center of Moncks Corner across from South State Bank and Hoover Jeep and Ram .Plenty of parking spaces.

“Every time I come here any more there's a bunch of teenagers standing around talking they look at you and walk on buy sit in here 5 minutes the other day wasn't busy before any one ask me I needed something used to be great service not anymore”
