“I did have a couple things that I addressed with. I don’t know if it was ownership or just lead workers minor things one of which wasn’t necessarily company policy. They usually decline my request, but they chose the customer service. Customer is right idea and it probably cost them money, but I really appreciated that. They didn’t have to do what I was asking at all and I told them it’s no big deal. She said usually we don’t do this, but she went ahead and did it anyway. And I just really appreciated it. I repeated myself but it bears repeating. So I just wanted to give y’all a shout out say that I really enjoyed it. I had some not really complaints just issues and you handled it and I thank you. Wonderful experience. I highly recommend you check it out and I highly recommend you get the Fish Camp special.”

“Once again everything was delicious. From the appetizers to the desserts. Great service and great atmosphere. We started with the fried raviolis and the hummus served with pita bread for our appetizers. For our entrees we had the Chicken piccata and the Boeuf Bourguignon. We ended with a huge slice of Banana pudding cake and a Tres Leche. Everything was cooked to perfection and had amazing flavor. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure our drinks were always filled and that we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back soon! Picture in the comments.”

“I Recently moved to North Augusta. A friend from Savannah called to tell me about McNeelys Place. What a treat my first visit was. Homemade Chicken Pie, collard greens, wonderful Mac and cheese and good cornbread. Even the tea was great. I felt like I had stepped back in time and was eating at my Mothers table. The dining rooms were attractive and spotlessly clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. We met the cook who was delightful in addition to being talented. I brought home a box of delicious vegetables. Already planning my next visit.”

While I was there i paid attention to the staff and there is one female there that tends to go to the bathroom every 5 mins and she stay in there for 20 mins that's strange. “We go there about once a week. Their buffett is excellent, and everything is Homemade. They always have a good selection of meats, vegetables, fruits & desserts as well as a full salad bar. The extra special thing is "our waitress, Amy". She is friendly and attentive. As soon as she sees us walk in, she gets our drinks and silverware & gets our table ready. There are several waitresses that really bust their tails to take care of the customers even though it's a buffet. Great place.”

“Great people here! We got a flat on our boat trailer so we pulled off the highway and pulled into the parking lot of this place to change it. Staff came out almost immediately to ask if we needed any help and offered us water or whatever we needed. They even came back a second time to check on us! We really appreciated their kindness. “We always love our food from here. It’s been out go to for 5+ years. I will fight for the crab rangon. It comes with 6. :) I don’t typically enjoy Chinese food but my family does. They get the orange or sesame chicken with rice or noodles. Cost is very reasonable and if your feeding kids easily 2 can be feed off of one plate especially with extra rice, great portion sizes for adults. I usually get sushi from next door to go with a side of rice or noodles from here. It’s not a sit down place but they do have outdoor plastic picnic type tables that people use occasionally.”

“I've eaten here for many years. I believe they now have new owners/cooks. For today's lunch I was specific on what I wanted and they delivered. The food was fresh and hot. I dined in and the staff was very polite. This place was already busy most of the time. If they continue the good work and learning their customers, they will need a bigger restaurant. Actually they need a bigger restaurant about twice the size right now. Also I reserve five stars for an exceptional experience, this experience was definitely a four and a half. Also if you've gone here before try different selections. Each cook has their own specialties and as I said I believe the cook has changed. Owner / cook if you're reading this please bring back water chestnuts!”

After a recent visit I can say a lot has changed. The fried shrimp was the surprise standout dish we ordered. I'll probably try fried wings on my next trip. Orange chicken and Sesame chicken had good flavor but the chicken used was tough. Pork fried rice that came with each had no veggies besides onions and pork was tough, so average at best. Egg rolls were bland. They now accept credit but charge a fee for orders over $20.

The food is quite good, worth a try. Cash or check only - no credit cards accepted. The inside of the restaurant isn't in the best shape and the service is very similar to what I got when I was actually in China (which is to say not fantastic), but that makes this place all the more authentic to me. I suggest going once and getting it to go to compare to what you get elsewhere. China is another good Chinese option in the area.”

“This place was so nice. It has more variety than other mexican restaurants, the prices were great and I loved the variety. You can't tell me you get tired of eating the same thing after a while ? It was my first time there and they were pretty busy but our waitress still checked in on us and made sure we still had drinks and asked if we wanted refills which was nice. It was really well decorated and had a small outdoor area that was even covered in shade for the sunshine.”

I don't know if it's Biden and Kamala's policies, the fact that Wall Street is now buying up homes in an effort to pay out boomers who are going to be demanding their retirement monthly now, but either way I believe Taco Bell almost single-handedly caused the dollar to be worth about as much as a peso. For a family of four, expect to spend somewhere around $40 now without drinks.”
