“My son came home from deployment and I just wanted to take him out to have a nice dinner before he left which was the following day. So I took him to this restaurant and everyone treated us so very very nice. I highly recommend this restaurant the ambience is also very nice, however the waiter the maître d’ the manager waitresses, they all made the experience for me and my son amazing. I cannot wait to come back and just relax and enjoy the jazz music that was playing.“

“We come here weekly and have never been disappointed! We sit at the bar and watch the kitchen..,a well oiled machine for sure. Tonight we watched Nico, a plating artist, do some fantastic plating. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! Wish I could give them 10 stars!!!!! So glad you are here!“

“Stopped in for lunch and a drink. Had the fish camp feel with separate dining areas (bar, outdoor, inside). Ordered the grouper bites app and a drink as the entrees were present sides.... $3 up charge to change the fries and slaw. Solid food and excellent service! Parking can be a challenge when they are busy.“

Can get busy in the evenings, especially on the weekends. If you’re looking for great seafood in a casual environment, this is it!“

“One bite and I was back home! Bloody lovely 😁 large potions wrapped in paper, hot and fresh, great atmosphere and clean. It was decorated really well, the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. Worth the 2 hour drive for us.“

“The service and food were excellent today. Oscars rarely disappoints. My only issue is the surcharge for using a credit card. Now the menu prices were all high as most so I have to ask how cheesy for Oscars to embarrass this establishment by noting this increase on my receipt. Guys this is a premium dining establishment. Pinching more $ I think should we embarrassing to proprietor. Stop this! If you don't have your menu costed correctly that's your problem to figure out.“

Being from BR, we are excited to have this place. We already love both Nigel's locations. This was what I've been waiting for. He put his spin on NO favorites. The Signature Oysters were amazing! Boudin balls and crab dip were full of flavor. My husband loved the fried pork chops. Offer rice and gravy or mashed potatoes and gravy, please. The gumbo was flavorful and packed with chicken, shrimp, sausage, and crawfish- needed a little more liquid. Fried okra was fresh!
Get the Banana Bread Pudding! I don't even like bread pudding but this was out of this world! That caramel sauce was bomb! The beignets were delicious. Not authentic per se but fabulous all the same.
Nigel is a genius. I want that blackened catfish or shrimp ravioli next time.
Please add Crystal's or Louisiana hot sauce and some Tony's on the table. Even some sport peppers, if you want the trifecta of tabletop seasonings.“

“We’ve eaten here every time we’ve been in town and have yet to have a bad experience. The staff is wonderful, food is great and at unbeatable prices. The service is quick even when they’re really busy. We love the option to eat outside. We were eating dinner when we received the call that our offer had been accepted on the house we wanted to buy. Our server was so sweet and celebrated with us. We will definitely be regulars once we move.“
