“My spouse and I made a dinner stop here on our journey towards home from Florida. This was a random pit stop, and we're so glad we found this place. This Waffle House is the best location I've ever been to. The staff are the true gems of this restaurant. Ashley. C and April were such great servers. They are well mannered and very friendly. Alex was running the show at the grill, cooking single-handedly for an entire restaurant full of people. He was impressive to watch coordinating so many meals at once. Even being so busy, he'd check in with patrons behind him to see if everything was okay with their meals. I haven't seen this true, efficient, polite wholesome American service in years. They're genuinely pleasant, and it's so refreshing to see these team members working in sync with each other and happy while doing their jobs. We enjoyed our meals a lot. I ate the chicken hash brown bowl with onions, and my spouse had the bacon patty melt. Both meals were well portioned and reasonably priced. If we ever come back through this area, we'll definitely return.“
“The food is so much bigger than you would expect. The double cheeseburger is huge. Though I will say that it was the cashier lady was a bit inattentive and even though I had placed an order ahead of time and more order was ready when I got there I was still waiting for almost 15 mins before I got my food. And for some odd reason even though I paid cash, there was a credit card tax added to my bill. But the food was good.“
“This is an awesome, locally owned restaurant in Walterboro, South Carolina. The atmosphere is amazing. The folks working there are very professional and it is an exceptionally clean place. They put a lot of emphasis on the quality of the food served, and it is always very good. It is located downtown Walterboro on Main Street, otherwise known as Washington Street.“
“The food was hot and delicious! I only had a 5-8 minute wait (Although im sure wait times are longer when there are more people). The shrimp was cooked as i was waiting which made them THAT MUCH BETTER!! The mac & cheese was cheesy and tasty. The greens were so flavorful ( I asked for hot sauce for my greens and didnt even need it!!) The sausage w/peppers and onions was on point and NOT over cooked! The plate was a good size and the portions was perfect! Definitely going back when they come back to St. George! I cant wait to try the fish w/ red rice next!!“
“While traveling we found Fat Jacks online and decided to try it. I prefer different places instead of the same ol same ol. The food was excellent and I highly recommend the Mushroom and Swiss Burger and the Chicken Sandwich. I was very upset how the Manager talked to the waitress simply because she accidentally made a mistake with how they billed us to the incorrect table or something of that matter. It was no big deal but I felt like he was berating her in front of customer and staff. I am in a business of customer service and if he felt like it needing attention, it should not be handled out in front of customers and other employees. This made me very uneasy and uncomfortable.“
