Buffett is currently closed due to pandemic but they have a very large menu of options - Indian to Central Asian with some Nepalese specialties - as well as mixed platters to make it possible to try a variety of things. The menu descriptions are fairly detailed and the spiciness level is a question asked for most items mild, medium, spicy). prices run from 8-12 for appetizers and 12-20 for meals and mixed platters which seems quite reasonable for the serving size and skill in preparation. It would be a wonderful place for families, romantic dinners out, or a good place to meet an old friend and talk over 2 or 3 courses. Inside was very comfortable, good spacing and light, not too loud, with many beautiful decorations and carved accents. The owners and staff were wonderful - friendly, accurate, quick to help and quite fast food preparation. I would absolutely come back!”

“We went ice skating this afternoon. We went back and forth for ice cream and there was one young lady working by herself. She was working her butt off and was very polite and stayed cool under pressure running between the front and the outside window. Oh and our ice cream was awesome! The food was delicious and they had lots of choices. We had the steak dish, which was tender and delicious, and a huge burrito with flavorful chicken and veggies, with a great cheese sauce. We were very happy and full. We highly recommend Mexico Tipico!”

“Would absolutely recommend Shipwrecks Bar & Grill! They have their own separate gluten free fryer. My 2 year old son with Celiac and other allergies was able to have walleye fingers with French fries and loved them! They even made it into a kids meal for him! The head chef was very knowledgeable about celiac and willing to talk with us! Wonderful experience all around!”

“As promised Jared… the star chefs adorning the walls would be very proud of what was the best French toast I have ever eaten, and one of the top breakfasts ever!!! Foie gras!!!, macerated and fresh berries, toasted pecans, granola, and maple cream made for a beautifully presented and texturally diverse dish. We were travelers looking for unique eats in Rapid City, drawn in by your website’s description of the menu, and not disappointed. I believe the sign of a great meal is when you savor each bite, already from the start regretting the end of the meal will inevitably come. Look up the video of Julia Child tearing up after sampling a Nancy Silverton dessert and you’ll know what I mean. Thanks Jared for going the extra mile to get me that foie gras and for the excellent service!!! Hope to be back some day ;)”

“We recently enjoyed a lovely dinner at Golden Bison Grille. Our fine pre-dinner drinks at the bar were attended by the friendly Ms. Tina. The Golden Bison meal was beyond delicious with melt in your mouth pork doused in an outstanding bourbon glaze and oh-so-tender steak bites, grilled asparagus and sweet herbed potatoes. Our friendly and efficient server, Roland, provided the perfect amount of attention and completed our experience with the most delicious Crème Brûlée! Restaurant Manager Josh stopped by to visit during our meal and was assured this, our special evening out, was indeed a memorable one!”

I am glad they have the weekly cookies available to view in regular and mini size. So it gives a chance to preview before purchasing. I also can’t wait for future cookies to drop. Legit hand breaded chicken fried steak and real mashed potatoes were perfectly prepared. No prebreaded steak or boxed mix used in our meal. Complimentary bread before the meal from their in house bakery was tender and tasty as was their coconut cream pie with authentic flaky, home style crust with fresh whipped cream topping and rich filling. This will not disappoint!”

“Service was great from the hostess to servers. The two others with me had steaks, good flavor but prefer a thicker cut instead of thin cut that looks bigger. Had the salmon and it was very good. One had the brussel sprouts that had maybe 3 slices and the rest was burnt, loose leaves. Manager blamed it on the supplier, if that is the issue then remove it from menu, there were at least two other items not available.”

“We used to go to the southside location but recently started going to the north location. The overall vibe feels more laid back, the folks working seem more chill, and Stephanie (the “mean old lady” haha, her joking words) was super nice and I saw and heard her interacting with other guests, many of whom she seemed to recognize which is always a lovely thing to see when employees recognize customers and can build that relationship with them. While we’ve never had true complaints at the southside location, we do prefer the north side one and will absolutely be back!”

“Never underestimate the power of human interaction...we frequent Dixon Coffee Company, not only for their delicious drinks, but for their charming baristas. We always drive away from their window with a smile on our face & a coffee made just the way we like it.”

“We had their Prime Rib special for two with Mashed Potatoes and we also had their Brussel Sprouts Appetizer and Chocolate Mousse Cake. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing with a lovely lighting level. The plating of the food overall is exquisite. The Brussels Appetizer had bacon, candied pecans, and an apple cider glaze. The Brussels sprouts were cooked excellently and the other ingredients bring a nice saltiness with touch of sweet to balance it out. The Prime Rib was perfectly tender with a wonderful salt crust and delicious Au Jus. The Mashed Potatoes would wonderfully creamy and buttery. The Chocolate Mousse Cake came encased in chocolate with chocolate cake on the bottom and mousse on top. The smooth vanilla ice cream and the acidity of the berries accompanying the cake help cut the rich chocolate flavor for a delightful dessert. I do highly recommend for a lovely date night or a special occasion with family/friends.”

My wife had the PB&J burger and she really enjoyed it as well. The Zymucracy Veterans IPA, Jeremiah Johnson Mountain Man Scotch Ale and White Elm Brewing Drift Melter Stout were all very good. The bartender provided great service as well!”

“Good little place recently built on the edge of town near new housing. It was clean inside and had a good vibe. Well thought out use of the outside patio with a nice view of the open field. Folks were nice to me. I got the tropical butterfly lemonade and a croissant for lunch cause I wanted some lemonade and it was too late in the day for coffee.
I was pleasantly surprised how good the drink was.
