“First time at this restaurant, had only ever tried jerk chicken before, which was slightly spicy and delicious. Today I got the jerk chicken here, which was delicious, but had absolutely no spice. I wish it was possible to make it spicier, other than that the food was great. Loved the staff, they were very attentive and kind. The place was a bit busy, but the staff did a great job with getting us seated and serving our food at a reasonable time. Will definitely come back again.“

“We brought our 8 Month old with us today and they instantly wanted to make sure they had our baby settled and that we were comfortable with his booster chair. They were fast with bringing drinks and the food didn’t take long considering it being around 6:30 on a Saturday. The waitresses we had were great and the environment was well king. We also loved that they had guacamole fresco which was just plane avocado which was awesome for our little one! We will definitely be coming back more!“

“Love going here!!! It’s a very clean and friendly environment I’ve studying here many times. During the summer is my favourite to go and sit in there as they have a big window to let in the summer air. All of their food is gluten free which is perfect for me! Honestly they have the best gluten free granola mix that I like to mix with raisins for breakfast.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free food!!“

“City Perks is a local community coffee shop with a great selection of drinks and baking. It also has a nice outdoor patio to sit and enjoy your visit and the weather. I have been here afew times now and am always glad I was with someone who knows me well cause I found it difficult to read the chalkboard menu here and I am not a frequent visitor here so I didn’t know the menu. Do to this and having visual difficulties I would not come here other than with someone who knows me well. It also is not the most friendly place for people with disabilities even though there is a ramp for wheelchairs or strollers but is not a lot of space around the front where you order. The staff member at the front around the till was friendly and helpful though. The desert and baking we had was also very good. I have had the strawberry chocolate brownie that was very good. The strawberry was the icing on top of the chocolate brownie you see in my photo and it was pretty sweet but enjoyed it. I also have had the Arnold Palmer lemonade to drink,it wasn’t my favourite lemonade but didn’t taste it and was glad I tried it. I have also tried the three hot chocolate and it is definitely not hot, it was pretty much room temperature but could definitely taste the chocolateI. Last time I was here I had a apple cinnamon crusaunt that was very good and sweet. would come back here again in the future but would hope it would be easier to figure out what to order and get.“
“I am Celiac and we ate here for the first time visiting my best friend who lives in Saskatoon. I was really impressed that there was only one item on the menu that I could not eat. “Been twice now, originally went with a gift card and got the sliders and tuna stack. Couldn't have been happier with how it turned out. Sliders were perfect, and tuna stack was ratioed perfectly, beers were cold and fresh. Not to mention the waitress and waiter we had both times were quick and very friendly. “I have been to the Citizen Cafe and Bakery a few times now over the years. This cafe and bakery has good food, service and atmosphere but for someone that has some visual difficulties or certain disabilities I it can be difficult to read the menu that is up high above and behind the counter. My most recent visit here was a good experience overall, I had a hot chocolate to drink as well a peanut butter chocolate cookie and a cake ball. Both the cookie and the cake ball were very good , for are drinks we both enjoyed our drinks but for them being hot drinks they were warm but not real warm definitely far from hot. I was also glad to be with someone who knows me well or it could have been difficult figuring out the menu. I would come back here again in the future and try some other things.“
