Columbia is a great place to hang out and American Barrel is a unique little spot. The bartender was impressed at my Scotch choice, probably because most patrons couldn't tell a decent Whisky from a Carrie Underwood song. Ok yeah I'm a bit of a Whisky snob. The food is more bar style appetizers, but it's pretty good as an accompaniment. Not a place to plan a meal but definitely a place to go after and enjoy a good dram or cocktail. If you are looking to relax or have great conversation but still feel cozy with friends. This place is uhmazing!!!! Wine and cocktails are great!! I had Kate Arnold Pinot Noir red wine and It was smooth!Nathan the owner was very nice and we had a great conversation! Kimberly was our host and she was very kind and attentive as well!This little cozy place in heart of downtown is what you need! Try it out!!! You wont be disappointed!!!

We love this place. The drinks are amazing! The whiskey sours and old fashioned are so good. Just love the atmosphere and staff!!! We typically come here every Friday night!!! Highly recommended. ?
