Friendly staff, appropriately flavorful and spicy dishes (even on the buffet). So many buffets I've been to in recent years are overly sweet and bland. Not this place. If you used to go to Bombay Palace more than a decade ago, this is like that. Same owners in fact. So good.”

“I have been to this restaurant many times and went last night for my birthday with my family. The coffee encrusted filet is phenomenal and this is the only place I have ever seen it. Along with the scalloped potatoes side and the artichoke dip for an appetizer I was so pleased. Everyone enjoyed what they got whether it was the salmon, French onion soup, or other steaks. Our server was so kind and attentive and found out it was my birthday so gave me a free dessert along with champagne and a card signed by the staff. We will be back again before my next birthday for sure!”

I ordered an omelet and it was delicious, super fresh, and perfectly cooked. My husband had the biscuits and gravy and absolutely loved it. “My girlfriend and I came here to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. Best choice ever!! We were greeted by our wonderful server, Meg. She was so bubbly and funny, gave us the best recommendations and promptly came to check on us. We loved literally everything we ordered down to all 4 apps we got, 4 drinks and an entree (we were hungryyy) and they did not disappoint in any dish. The manager, Bradley, was so friendly and accommodating and even gave us a complimentary desert for our night! We WILL be back just for the experience alone, you guys made us have the best night together!! We look forward to seeing you soon for more of those delicious asparagus fritters🖤🖤🖤🖤”

This was the best tasting wedding cake both my husband and I had ever had and our family and friends agreed. I think we will use them at our reception on our anniversary and any other time we are in need of desserts. Madison understood the assignment and delivered. I have no notes at all. Just excited to use this shop again for future events.”

We were offered a wide variety of food options and beverages and full access to their attached Wine & Spirits shop for craft beers, wines and other liquors by the bottle. I highly recommend this place for wedding showers, private parties, or other social events! Manager Rusty was amazingly helpful in planning, setting up and executing the entire package.”

Previous to getting sick I ate there often and loved the hospitality, polite staff and amazing pizza. Today I went and expressed my desire to still have there pizza and ask for accommodation. They assured me they would wash everything and prevent cross contamination. They treated me with kindness and respect and made me feel very assured. I was excited to see they offered anchovies and that is a protein I can eat and really enjoyed it. These guys are great. Long story short 10/10. Please eat here”

And for those who care, I also like that, they do have nutrition facts on their website, which makes it helpful to choose Wise foods on certain days. I will be back multiple times.”

And don't get me started on the tacos, which are arguably some of the best I've ever had north of the border. Be sure and try the salsas, which helped neutralize a blistering cold winter evening. Both the red and the green blend seamlessly with your meal. The drinks are superb too. The Pineapple version is my personal favorite. Let me tell you, this is the gold standard! The staff went above and beyond in recommending some of their favorites to me. Very warm and friendly. I used to live in Franklin but now it seems I have a legit excuse to come home and visit!! Do yourself a favor and get over to El Carbon. Make it your New Year's Resolution ;)”

“My family is from Chongqing so we always look for authentic Sichuan and hotpot restaurants when we travel. The owner was super nice and helpful and answered all of our questions. The food was authentic and delicious. Just like in Chongqing. The atmosphere is really nice and attractive. We wanted to come back for hotpot the next day but Popo's leg hurt and she couldn't walk so we had to cancel. I highly recommend any one who wants authentic Chinese food, typical fast food, to give this restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed!”

“The best coffee shop in Franklin, bar none. The sign of any good business is when the owner is always in there working just as hard as his employees, and Mr. Art exceeds that and then some. Iced Cuban is the best in the area. Pastries and breakfast tacos are A+, staff is so friendly that they’ll know you by name within a few visits, and the atmosphere is clean and relaxing with an easy to access/park location. Skip the Starbucks out front and take the few minutes to walk into Mr. Art’s—it’s worth it!!”

Food was really good—we especially loved the chicken katsu sandwich. However, they messed up one of the orders, bringing out the wrong dish and insisted on making and bringing the correct one, which was nice, but then proceeded to charge us for the incorrect dish they originally brought out, which was more expensive, so it was rather odd…we will likely return but hope this doesn’t happen again.”

“We tried Slice House for the first time the other night, and it did not disappoint! They have a great outdoor seating area and a cozy vibe inside. What I loved most was that you can order premade fun, unique styles of pizza by the slice — it’s such a great way to try different options without committing to a whole pie (though you can order a full pizza too if you want!).

Every slice we tried was delicious. My husband is a very picky pizza person, and since we often review pizza places when we travel, his opinion carries some weight — and he rated this as one of his favorites! That says a lot, believe me. 🍕👏”

I was very clear that they had to have sprinkles and even the boys told her. Well one got sprinkles. The other didn’t. She said no problem when she brought the order to the table. So we waited. And waited. She took other people their orders and then she saw us and said oh it’s coming. Then a few MINUTES later said well it wasn’t rang up on your ticket so I am going to need 89cents more (I don’t carry cash) so I had to give her my card to get a little boy a spoonful of sprinkles to put on his half melted ice cream. Come on now….”
