Friendly staff, appropriately flavorful and spicy dishes (even on the buffet). So many buffets I've been to in recent years are overly sweet and bland. Not this place. If you used to go to Bombay Palace more than a decade ago, this is like that. Same owners in fact. So good.”

“I have been to this restaurant many times and went last night for my birthday with my family. The coffee encrusted filet is phenomenal and this is the only place I have ever seen it. Along with the scalloped potatoes side and the artichoke dip for an appetizer I was so pleased. Everyone enjoyed what they got whether it was the salmon, French onion soup, or other steaks. Our server was so kind and attentive and found out it was my birthday so gave me a free dessert along with champagne and a card signed by the staff. We will be back again before my next birthday for sure!”

“Tonight my friends and I had the pleasure of being served by Anna at J. Alexander’s in Franklin, and she was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we sat down at the bar, she greeted us with a friendly smile and made us feel comfortable right away!

Our cocktails were excellent. Each one was perfectly mixed, presented beautifully, and tasted great. Anna was attentive without hovering, checking in at the right times and making sure we had everything we needed. She remembered our drink preferences after just one order and kept our waters filled without us having to ask. She also offered helpful suggestions for cocktails we might enjoy, which we really appreciated.

We come to J. Alexander’s a couple of times a week and have always had good service, but Anna stood out. She is professional, approachable, and clearly takes pride in her work! The atmosphere at the bar felt even more welcoming because of her.

It is not just about the drinks, it is about the overall experience, and Anna made ours great from start to finish. We truly enjoyed having her as our bartender and will definitely be asking for her again on future visits.

If you want excellent cocktails and friendly, attentive service, Anna is a great choice. She made our evening even better, and we look forward to seeing her again soon!”

Old fashioned was good. We got several of the small plates to share and those with the hot honey was enough of a meal for the 2 of us. We've tried several of the pastas and entrees before and enjoyed those, just didn't have room this time. Usually busy at dinner time so I always try to set up a reservation. Will definitely be back.”

“My wife and I celebrated our 24th anniversary with dinner at Cork & Cow. Everything, EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect. Our reservation was for 9pm. We walked in at 8:45 and were seated immediately. Mike, our server, was quick to greet us and made excellent suggestions. I already knew I wanted the bone-in ribeye, but I wasn't settled on an appetizer. Mike suggested the pork belly: ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. My wife ordered the filet. Both steaks were well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. Dessert didn't seem likely, since I was starting to feel full, but I overheard another server mention a chocolate torte that had peanut butter mousse, so. . . O. M. G. Biscuit Love Franklin is so much more than just great food it’s the kind of place that makes you feel genuinely welcome. A big reason for that is the amazing manager, Noing (pronounced like “Noi-ng”). She’s originally from Thailand, and her name might even reflect her sweet, petite presence “Noi” in Thai means “small,” and it fits her perfectly in the most endearing way.

From the moment you walk in, she greets you with the warmest smile and treats you like you’re family. Even during the busiest rush, she’s incredibly efficient in the kitchen, yet somehow still finds time to connect with people on a personal level. It feels like walking into your grandmother’s house the food is comforting, and the hospitality is from the heart.

The entire staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is consistently outstanding. They also offer a military discount, which is a huge plus and deeply appreciated by the veteran community. If you're in Franklin, this is a must-visit especially for anyone who could use a little extra kindness with their biscuits.”

It was fabulous, and so nice to eat at a local, family owned restaurant here in Cool Springs which is mostly limited to chain restaurants. I called ahead of time to make sure they could accommodate us and spoke to Luke and he said he’d set aside seating for us. Luke ended up being our server, and he was very sweet and gracious to our rowdy table! We all mostly ordered different pizzas, although a few got pasta dishes, and I added wings to my pizza order. Most drank beer, a couple ordered wine. The pizzas were all very good! I got the Italian Stallion as my husband loves green olives and it had that as an ingredient along with Italian sausage, pepperoni, meatballs, salami and mushrooms. It was wonderful, the toppings were plentiful and the crust was perfect. Others ordered different specialty pizzas and had no complaints. I also got the traditional wings with a mild buffalo sauce and they were quite yummy. My son got the spaghetti & meatballs and it was a huge plate with 2 giant meatballs! He could only eat half of it so he had leftovers for another meal at home. Another person got the Mozzarella Caprese Salad, and the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. The pasta dishes came with homemade garlic knots. The beer selection is rather limited, if you like craft beers like our crowd does. They are mostly standard beers, so that’s the only recommendation I have, that they up their game on the beers and offer more options from local breweries. They were out of some of the limited ones they carry, but Luke explained they restock beers on Monday (we went on a Sunday so they were at the end of their supply by then). As far as the vibe, it was a perfect low key place to hang out with friends, drink beer and eat pizza etc, and watch football. There were plenty of TVs to watch the games. There were even fun video game machines if you’re into that. We really enjoyed Mineo’s - food, service, and vibe were all tops! It does take a little while to get your food but we understood with our big table, and it was nice anyway to not be rushed out the door (we stayed almost 2 1/2 hours!). So nice to support this local family owned restaurant!”

“The best coffee shop in Franklin, bar none. The sign of any good business is when the owner is always in there working just as hard as his employees, and Mr. Art exceeds that and then some. Iced Cuban is the best in the area. Pastries and breakfast tacos are A+, staff is so friendly that they’ll know you by name within a few visits, and the atmosphere is clean and relaxing with an easy to access/park location. Skip the Starbucks out front and take the few minutes to walk into Mr. Art’s—it’s worth it!!”

“We tried Slice House for the first time the other night, and it did not disappoint! They have a great outdoor seating area and a cozy vibe inside. What I loved most was that you can order premade fun, unique styles of pizza by the slice — it’s such a great way to try different options without committing to a whole pie (though you can order a full pizza too if you want!).

Every slice we tried was delicious. My husband is a very picky pizza person, and since we often review pizza places when we travel, his opinion carries some weight — and he rated this as one of his favorites! That says a lot, believe me. 🍕👏”
