“Service wasn't special, wasn't bad. Solid.Atmosphere was definitely lacking and I felt was the weakest point. I'm sure that's more a cost saving portion by the owner as it isn't cheap I'm sure.It looks recently renovated and EXTREMELY bare bones (almost looking like a cafe). Which is odd for a restaurant with this TYPE of food. However, some level of thematic take would've REALLY took the place over a beyond imo. Really making it a MUST go JUST for the "feel".... BUT....The MOST important part, the FOOD. FANTASTIC! A really well made, healthy, tasteful! Was well worth showing up for my birthday. Was absolutely delicious! Great portion per flavor ratio. Colorful, vibrant, and great plating!Now.... if we can just get the decor to match haha.Otherwise, NO complaints at all. You go to a restaurant for FOOD. I just felt the "experience" could REALLY sell the place more if there was more there.“
“What a great place! We had a tasting here yesterday with Abby. She was epic and really got everyone in loved and showed us true hospitality! The tastings are AMAZING and the spirits are truly one of a kind. This was our 3rd distillery and far and away the best! You will not be disappointed!“
“This was our first time here and we were celebrating a birthday so decided it was a good place to celebrate. At first we weren't sure we were on the correct road as it looked residential but then there it was. The complimentary cornbread appetizer was delicious! The Filet was melt in your mouth Perfect! I got it Medium and it was cooked perfect! Some places you have to say Med Rare to get it like Medium or they cook it too long, but it was perfect and delicious! It came with soup or salad and I got the Tomato Goat Cheese Basil Soup and it was very good. One of us got the Duck and got it Medium Rare as suggested, and it had a great flavor but was way too tough which was disappointing. Someone got the chicken and it was tough. The asparagus was not cooked long enough. Sweet potatoes and Sweet tea were great! The service was Awesome, he was wonderful! Nice ambiance! We will be back for the steak for sure!“
“Huge upstairs dining room. Quick service. Small pizza is cut in 4 pieces . Could be cut in smaller pieces.. but fed 4 adults and a child fine. Drink list.Coke products. Can order half one pizza and half another and it's not additional cost just half of what it is you ordered. Good concept.Didn't try appetizers. But will.“
“The staff were very nice and eager to help out! The food wad delicious and I had one of the best burgers I've ever had! The pretzel appetizer dish was amazing! The bathrooms were very clean too!!Vegetarian options: There were plenty of options that were vegetarian and vegen.Kid-friendliness: There was not a kids menu or an extra on the menu that was for kids. You would do good to order one meal and split it if you have multiple kids.Wheelchair accessibility: To get up to the diner was a long staircase so definitely not wheelchair accessible.Dietary restrictions: Not very much stuff for dieting and everything was american size big.“
“Really glad we decided we'd stop in for a meal, it was really good. The service was excellent as well, the atmosphere was very nice would have been better if it would have been warm enough for the windows to be open. Can't blame anyone for that. I would recommend stopping in for a meal.“
“Parking: Must park in the public parking lot and ride the Chondla, Ski lift, or the Ridge Ramblers to the top of Anakeesta Mountain to access the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: ADA accessibility on the Chondalas or the Ridge Ramblers to get to the top of Anakeesta Mountain to access the restaurant“
“Eating here is NOT for the weak but that's why it's so awesome. Their gimmick is being rude and everyone there nails it. I have not laughed that hard in a long time. We had a very large party, was told an hour wait and got seated in less. Our server, Chelsea, was fabulous, pairing sarcasm and quick wit with outstanding service. Our 5 year old daughter was with us and she had a blast, too. The food was great and if you're drinking, I recommend the American Mule. We visit Gatlinburg frequently and this will be a definite must stop from now on.“
“Fun place with great food. Apps and drinks on the patio which was disappointing but…… dinning room was fun and the atmosphere was festive. Food and service was excellent. Prices were very fair for a touristy restaurant in a touristy town. We would def go back.“
“Being a single Sr lady I opted to sit at a bar table by the window. It took a minute before CJ the bartender saw me ( I top at 5 ft). She apologized and quickly took my drink order and I asked for a menu. The Ole Red Ale arrived quickly as did the menu. I'd seen chili on an online menu but it wasn't on today's menu. It's all I wanted...and she made it happen. The chili was mildly spicy but good. Tara and CJ made me feel valued and right at home. Being a true country fan I was a little disappointed that the singer, Zach Ray didn't get the attention he deserved. But I'm old school“
“The food was alright (diner food), The atmosphere of eating next to the creek was fantastic, but the highlight of Howard's was the immaculate service provided to us by Aaron. The server with the most sultry voice in America. He was kind, modest and made our time at Howard's feel special. Thank you Aaron.“
