“We love Sakura and so many menu items. The futomaki is very good and can be made with no rice so it’s carb free and the mango roll is also very good. They have lots of cooked rolls with no raw fish. The lunch specials are always good and have lots of food. The seafood soup is unique and really good too. Overall the menu has many things I’ve loved“
“Hands down best Chinese food in Memphis. The food was hot and fresh , flavorful I could taste every different thing . The crab Rangoon was filled all the way, soup amazing . The service was amazing aswell very nice and timely and they let me and my family get the lunch special even after the time was over I wish this restaurant would have more customers as it’s usually empty every time I go“
“Food was not authentic, but not horrible…was not great either (overly salty). Staff was friendly, but extremely slow even though they weren’t very busy. Great atmosphere. Probably won’t go back again, but won’t tell others not to try it. Maybe you’ll like it more than me.“
“Everything was good. Fun little sushi shop with cute bathrooms, too! Ordered 2 rolls & 2 drinks. Full house & they communicated temporary longer than their normal kitchen-times. Open communication of their issue, earned them the 5th star back that I would have taken away for it. ⭐️“
“We've always ordered delivery through DD for Ahi and the sushi never disappoints (I recc the Mango Mango Roll 1000%) - the fried rice is huge in portion, but is always a little bland salt wise. Add a little seasoning and I'd go nowhere else!Parking: Large parking lot“
“It's a very calm clean relaxing place to have lunch ... I ordered the Pho and sushi rolls ?The Pho is a noodle soup ? which you can add meatball, meats and also vegetable sprouts..Parking: At the corner of Summer@ mendenhall I'm not sure if the parking lot is shared with the grocery store or if it's all connectedBut I believe they do HAVE parking in the back“
“The service has been great both times we've been here (once lunch and once dinner) The food was tasty, plentiful, and served quickly. They were great with my grand daughter and made sure her soup wasn't too hot when it came to the table.“
“Always remember the genuine Model of customer service and loyalty way to show the best food and import worldwide drinking quality. The ramen it’s the original quality because come in from Japan directly. I love Kami Ramen Bar Wolfchase and Collierville.“
“I went with 2 friends from work on our lunch hour. We were able to order, eat, pay, and get a box for our leftovers without running over on hour lunch hour. Our server was very pleasant and efficient. We all really enjoyed the Veggie Spring Rolls brought to us upon sitting down. I ordered the Veggie Fried Rice. It was delicious. It's the first Veggie Fried Rice I have seen that has Zucchini in it. That was a wonderful surprise. It's nice that they don't add too much Soy Sauce too, so that you can add what you want. My friends ordered Hibachi dishes and loved theirs as well.Vegetarian options: They have Fried Veggie Rice, Vegetable Spring Rolls, and a variety of Veggie Sushi options.“
“A truly Memphis experience. Great hibachi, sushi, and cocktails. Make reservations, and hope that your chef is “magic” Mike who, along with the place itself, has been around for decades. Some staff can be unfriendly, but if you persevere and keep an open mind, you’re in for a good time.“
“Sekisui Pacific Rim is an east Memphis sushi scene, from the food to the ambiance to the service!FOODI can't help but rave about their Redbirds Roll - it's my absolute favorite for 18 years now. It's a meal all in itself. Imagine a California roll with crispy crab inside and cooked shrimp on the top. I also like that is pays homage to our baseball team, the Memphis Redbirds. And the Cucumber Rolls? The freshness and flavor burst in your mouth, truly a refreshing treat, and you feel very light after eating it. Oh, and don't forget have some green tea; it's the ideal way to round off a fantastic dining experience and help you digest the meal. It's not just the food that makes this place special; Sekisui Pacific Rim goes the extra mile by using eco-friendly paper straws, demonstrating their commitment to the environment and, of course, saving those adorable turtles.AMBIANCEThe ambiance at Sekisui Pacific Rim is hip and chic. In the back of the restaurant, they have an aquarium that serves as mood lighting along with a massive art centerpiece that adds to the overall charm. The art features throughout the restaurant really set the mood for a unique dining experience. When it comes to the seating arrangement, their artsy tables and layout also contribute to the cool and contemporary atmosphere. And if you're looking for a more intimate experience, I highly recommend the cozy sushi bar off to the side - it's the perfect spot to watch the talented chefs work their magic.SERVICEThe staff makes everyone feel like they're at home. I love them and they love people and understand true customer service! If you like sushi, it's a great date place, a place for a small friend group or even a work meeting.“
“Our lunch was excellent. Great, friendly and prompt service by Kalen. Our wasabi pork Shumai was yummy albeit different. Our 3 rolls were fantastic! Spicy salmon was my favorite and had a nice kick. Volcano was also excellent and had and even stronger kick. The Dymamite was good with the least of a kick in terms of spicy. Kalen was awesome. Our miso soup was piping hot. O stall great lunch and great service!“
“I absolutely love this place!!! I go here often and the service is great. The ingredients are always fresh, the store is always super clean, also the cashier's and cooks are so professional!!! Give them a try people they won't disappoint?Parking: It's located in a shopping center, but parking isn't to much of a hassle unless everyone has a taste for this delicious place and goes there ? ?“
“Stopped in for dinner and had a Salmon Avocado and Eel Avocado rolls for dinner. I liked the Eel so I ordered another one. The rolls were very good and the service was friendly and prompt. This is a relatively small place but cosy. Service was friendly and prompt. Definitely worth a try!“
“I went to Urban Japanese Fusion Cuisine with a coworker after work, and had a good experience. We were seated quickly, and our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the various sushi rolls. We got edamame as an appetizer, and I ordered a caterpillar roll with an order of tamago nigiri. All of the food was delicious, and definitely satisfied our sushi craving. The restaurant had modern Asian-inspired decor, and was overall a great atmosphere. I'd definitely return.“
“I went to try the Hibachi this time and was just amazing . I usually go for Their sushi rolls cause I really love them but this time I wanted to change and I was happily surprised by the taste . I usually come for date night, but I might start to get some take out from now on. Service fantastic as usual , I’m gonna get some more of that hibachi very very soon .“
“Food was great. Service was super slow. They appeared understaffed in the front of the house. I was also bummed that they did have Tuna steaks on the hibachi menu considering Tuna is in their name. However, great space with good food. Just wish it was faster. Also a shame they have all those Hibachi tables but don’t do table side Hibachi.“
“Best sushi restaurant I’ve ever visited!! We’ve never received an order of sushi so fast, and we got 4 specialty rolls. Definitely try a fried roll with the hot honey sauce. They also give you complementary spring rolls which is nice. Service was fantastic, food was delicious, we want to come back to Memphis just so we can eat here again.“
“This last time that we went, the food was just as good as we remembered! My daughter wanted the Shumai (steamed shrimp dumplings) because "they were so good last time, and I just know they will hit the spot and make me feel better." We had dropped my husband, active duty military, off at the airport shortly before. So, we went and ate here. We also got the Fancy Nancy Roll, with the sweetened chili sauce. It was a little different, but it was still good to me, and she loved it. We also got the Black Pepper Tuna Roll, and that one is one of my favorites. She polished off all the dumplings, but we did have sushi to take home! The only downside to the restaurant is, imo, the tea which has a bit of a fruit flavor to it (it's not bad just hits a little differently. My daughter loved it) and the bathroom. The restrooms were clean, but the lay out is extremely poor. You can't open the big stall without hitting the door to the smaller stall, and then when you're in there, you can see all the way out of the bathroom through the gap in the door!Parking: We went in between hours but there's parking all around the building. We didn't have any issues with finding a spot.Kid-friendliness: My 5yo has been fascinated with all of the fish on the ceiling and loves the colored lights that are on the floor when you walk in. The staff has been nice to her both times that we've gone.“
“OMGGGG!! ? This was my first time trying and will not be my last. This food was so good and seasoned. If you love Hibachi, this is definitely a must have and for the price. The person who answered the phone was so nice. They have a customer forever. ♥️♥️“
“I don't get to make it to The Sakura Japanese Restaurant Very often. I live about 45 minutes away, but the visit is Always Great. I love their food, atmosphere, and their staff. My favorite is the Joyce Roll. If you haven't tried it, you don't know what you're missing. 5-☆ Experience“
“The sushi was excellent. Some of the best I've had, plus I am a fan of the spicy mayo. The service was ok and seems slow. It was kinda hot, not sure if it was on purpose or what. 84 degrees is hot. It is definitely on the pricey side. Spicy tuna roll is $12 and this is a basic roll. I would most likely get sushi to go or delivered. I recommend the sushi.“
“Awesome sushi for a great price! Girlfriend and I got the 3 rolls + miso soup for $13. The soup was delicious and they gave large portions! The sushi was also really tasty! The combos were more than enough food for dinner plus leftovers. we decided to splurge and try a few things, so we also got the yaki chicken and pan fried gyoza. The gyoza were really good, and the yaki chicken was also tasty. It didn't have a lot of sauce, but adding a bit of soy sauce did the trick. They included a large portion of that as well, and had a lot of big chunks of chicken and veggies. The lady at the register was also super friendly. We'll definitely be coming back!“
“Oishi is great, they are a great substitute if you were a big "Osaka" fan until their service kind of tarnished. Their sushi is so fresh. Although if you get the rice sometimes it can be a bit salty. Although the employees are so greeting. They treat you with the most upmost hospitality from the time you step inside the establishment to when you get ready to leave. Great experiences!“
“I haver never gotten anything that wasn't delicious! Chef Sinh produces not only tasty food but it is very generously portioned as well. The service is always friendly and relatively quick for such detailed dishes. But, if you are ordering more than a couple of things, be reasonable and just call your dang order in!“
“The plain facade on the front of the building holds a delicious surprise when you walk into the door. As you walk closer to the cash register the Amazing aromas come from the very talented cooks. Freshly cooked ingredients are made to order with care and time. The food had a delicate balance of flavors which can be tasted by taste buds. The prices are reasonable. Sorry people, I didn't take pictures.“
“The food here is delicious ? my go-to lunch/ dinner is the fried salmon sushi roll and small fried rice. Fast service and the restaurant is always clean. Whenever I call in my order I always say, “usual please”, and the lady who answers the phone knows exactly who I am and what I want lol.“
“I thought I had my favorite Chinese restaurant, but now, I've found it. Great food for lunch and reasonably priced. They have a different menu for dinner. They have a buffet and you have an option to order off a large menu. I had the buffet.“
“I did take out for this establishment and I had a good experience overall. I ordered the hibachi chicken with no veggies with a side of fried rice. Let me tell you, was not disappointed. It didn’t take long to get my food when I ordered it and staff was very friendly.“
“I was in town from Georgia celebrating my sister’s 18th birthday yesterday. It was 7 of us and we left out with full stomachs and full of smiles! I got the steak and shrimp and some egg rolls. Also, mango and regular lemonade. The chef and waiter were gave exceptional service! The chef, Tony was so funny and was attentive to us and our needs. I’ll be back on our next visit to TENNESSEE!!“
“Placed an online order and considering how busy they were (one of few places open on Christmas day), I didn't have to wait very long for my food to be ready. The staff was pleasant and efficient even though there was a lot going on. All of my food was still hot and fresh by the time I made it back home and it's all delicious. My only complaint is that they forgot my egg roll.“
“Best location in town. Clean, quiet, and quick. The food was amazing, and the staff was wonderfully polite and welcoming. They had everything you could need in the takeout bag without having to be asked. Will absolutely be coming back asap. In a city plagued with terrible customer service, they are a breath of fresh air. Thanks, Tokyo Grill. Keep up the good work!“
“The restaurant is under new management who is in the process of getting their alcohol and liquor licenses, so there were no drinks. The food was awesome. We hope the new owners remodel the inside and get rid of that awful boat in the middle of the room.“
“I'm Stuck on the Hibachi Teriyaki Chicken !! Always great tasting fresh vegetables & hot food! Absolutely wonderful Spring Rolls . Family enjoys the variety of moist delicious fried rices. Clean facilities fast & friendly customer service affordable prices Definitely Up!!“
“This is a go to resturant for me and my husband. The food is delicious and comes out at a very decent time. The hibachi shows are always so fun and great to watch. There's great staff going all the way up to management! We've always left here happy and quite full “
“Nice place, good and prompt service, great selection of Sushi and they have Thai food too. The Sushi was OK, and the Thai was OK too, but plenty! It was a business dinner and they took very good care of us.Vegetarian options: They have a few vegetarian and vegan options, but it is not their focus.“
