“I have heard of Caramella Bistro multiple times from folks but had never tried it for myself until tonight. The food was exactly on par with the likes of Blackberry Farm or High Hampton. Quality was at the forefront of each dish and it showed. The atmosphere was superb and quaint (great background music). It’s truly a hidden gem and I’m glad I finally went tonight. Before we left the parking lot we were all talking about when we could come back. Thanks Chef! 10/10“
“My wife and I had dinner at the Bistro. This is Kingston's class act for an eatery. We started with the pita and pimento appetizer which was enough for four. The pimento is extraordinarily good with just a hint of heat. Susan chose the twin chicken with coleslaw and a half house salad with the poppy seed and strawberry dressing. The half house salad was more than generous, equaling the size of a full salad at many other restaurants. The chicken was moist and not over done. I had the fish and chips with cole slaw and fries. The fish fillets were very tender, flaky - fried to perfection in a very light beer batter. Used honey mustard as a dip for the fresh hot fries as dijon mustard is not available. The Fat Tire draught was, unfortunately flat. Hard surfaces make for a noisy dining experience.“
“Having recently relocated pretty close to Sandra Dee's we kept saying...we got o go down there. We did today for lunch. I am a Dan of cheeseburgers amd FF and a great tasting Dr. Pepper. My wife and I both indulged and we both enjoyed a well cooked, hot, fresh, lunch with fresh topping, red tomatoes, tasty Pickles, sweet onion and FF which were cooked to order perfection. Dusty made every thought and visit to our table helpful. It was a lot so you need to go hungry. We noticed daily specials including baked spaghetti today. Looking forward to many years to come.“
“Was a little shocked when I seen the prices but, the portions were really big! My dad and I got the catfish plate and it was delicious! Mother got a salad, it was huge! The service was fantastic and a great atmosphere. We will definitely be going back.“
“The City of Kingston's local gem! This place has been here since before I was born. I can remember coming here with my grand parents 25 years ago and eating.I haven't been here in probably 5-7 years and as soon as you walk inside you feel right at home. The waitresses are so welcoming and sweet.I knew before I even got there what I was going to order. It has to be the Handee Burger which is a mini burger very similar to a Krystal burger, but I'll argue these are better. The loaded chili dog and the grilled chicken sandwich were also very good. The tater tots and fries were also great.I have nothing bad to say about my dining experience there, and I will definitely come back sooner than 5-7 years.Kid-friendliness: The got chicken tenders enough said.“
