I passed a BBQ called "Pit Stop" in town that was jam-packed with the lunch crowd, and a few miles farther on I rolled past this spot. The smoker out back was billowing, and the parking lot was pretty full...so I turned around and headed back.It's an "order at the counter and come get it" place - no waitresses. This used to be Big Ed's BBQ, the new owners are from Tompkinsville, KY; they know how to do it right! The shoulder, shredded, burgers, probably the best upgrade is their mayo slaw! Normally, I go vinegar slaw with my BBQ, but my wife got the mayo slaw and it was delicious. The service was fast; plenty of seating and room to get around. Everything was clean too.
