“My family and I were pleasantly surprised by this random choice we made. It's small, and the outside isn't very assuming, but the food was phenomenal and the service was extremely generous. We got a table at around 11 on a Tuesday and by noon, the place was really filling up. The brisket was killer, and the turkey sandwich was delicious but absolutely massive!“

“1st time coming to any Martins. We ordered one of the plates for 2 people, but when we received the order, they only had silverware and a plate for 1, seemed odd to me. Ordered a 3rd side but they forgot to send with order. Chicken was great, brisket a little fatty but good. Ribs very good. Baked beans awesome along with mac and cheese. The side serving portion for 2 people seemed a bit small. Meat portion very good. Music good but too loud. Pecan pie very good, not too sweet and pecans were cut up just way I like them. Chocolate pie was good.“

“I always look for locally owned bbq places whenever I travel. I found Papa Turneys last night and spent about 3 hours there. The food was great! I could have been in, ate, and gone in about 30 minutes. The service was great and fast. After I ate I spent a lot of time listening to the live music. I'm not sure if I liked the food or the atmosphere better! Mike, the owner, was going around talking to everyone there and thanking them for coming in. We started talking about cars and spent a good hour just sitting and talking like old friends. Highly recommend! I can't wait to be back in the area!“
“Love the food!! We live nearby and I drive by this place every single day as it's directly on the main road of Lebanon Pike. So happy we stopped here for some lunch on Memorial Day! The food is absolutely delicious & big portions! My brother and I both had the bbq chicken, which is grilled and then cut open.. stuffed with cheese and brisket, then wrapped in 3 pieces of bacon & thrown right back on the grill! Sheesh .Huge shoutout to the owners whom are super friendly + welcoming! 5 stars across the board! Great choose of music playing, too!! “Amazing BBQ and friendly southern service! We stopped by for some authentic BBQ before the airport and we were not disappointed. We had the barbecued ribs and the loaded baked potato. Both are recommendations from the person behind the register. He was extra friendly, gave us great advice, and even offered refills on our sweet tea when we were finished. I am going to miss this food and friendly hospitality and will definitely come back again“

“I've been to this location only a couple a times but both times my steak was perfectly and evenly cooked. Also, well salted that have it wonderful flavor. The onion blossom is very delicious, you can actually taste the onion with seasoned breading. To wash all that down, my beer was at a good cold temperatures and not warm like at most places. I am also glad this location has some of the most genuine and considerate employees of all Whitt’s in this area they are always nice every time I order. I live in White House and skip going to any other just to go here their sandwiches are by far more superior then any other location.. “I wanted to love the wings more but I have my own opinion that they needed more sauce to taste their best. I would pay for extra sauce ??♀️ Our waitress was very nice and personable. Very sweet and comforting energies. She didnt crowd us, which is a big positive for my eating experience. The food was overall good but that sauce... lol the cucumber Wasabi wings, MORE SAUCE FOR THE BEST EFFECT! Let me lick my fingers kinda saucy, I PROMISE! And the drink menu alone would keep me coming back to try something new each time. Very extensive but promising for future fun. The kids menu was satisfying for my 8 yo. Mac & cheese & Naan cheese pizza. Enjoyed.“
“This style of BBQ took me to Southern Texas, where I grew up. Great smokey flavors in the chicken and moist brisket. The sides were on point. Mac and cheese was great. The corn casserole was fantastic. The beans were sweet beans, which I tolerate but prefer BBQ beans. Just different pallet, but tasted good! Overall, if you're on the hunt for Texas BBQ, this is a great option.“
“Beware of anything that has the word "WILLY'S" in front of or near it.....it means pretty darn ? HOT. Yet if ya like hot stuff, then order that. I had the 3 meat sampler, and it was fabulous; they do not carry their "greens" anymore, though just slaw, beans, fries, are you side choices ===ALL CARBS to go with meats. It was soo delicious, though.“
“Loved this place. Was a bit skeptical about the 5 star rating cause it's no easy feat, but this place deserves it. The ribs and the chicken were amazing. The sauces were incredible, don't sleep on the spicy sauce, it's the perfect mix of spicy and tasty.“
