Nicole is our requested server and she is the best. We also enjoy dinner there and the food is wonderful, we have never been disappointed. The wait staff are great and accommodating. We are retired so enjoy eating out often, Cork & Pig is at the top of our list.”

“EXCELLENT. I was lucky enough to be here for the Cajun ramen special, and it's everything I could ever want. Flavorful, delicious, the steak is the best part. Highly recommend if you see it on the special menu, and it would make an amazing addition to the main menu if they ever decide to do it. Cheese grits make for a less salty counterpart to it, if you're looking for a side. I think it pairs really well. Also very happy with the small but solid frozen margarita options, so the restaurant really has something for everyone: steak, pasta, seafood, wine, beer, cocktails. And the price is GREAT. Awesome service too! Hope to be back.”

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! STEP IT UP especially if we are paying 40+ $$ for memberships!!!”

“I was curious about their smoked wings, so I took the plunge and ordered them through DoorDash. The smoked flavor was noticeable in the skin but not so much the meat of the wings, but it was still good. I ordered a 16 count smoked bone in wings combo, because I wanted to try two flavors but I'm a wuss when it comes to spice. So I ordered the Orange Express and Buffalo, which were both a little on the spicy to me but as I said I'm a wuss. The Orange Express was my fave out of the two, and would recommend folks try to it especially with the smoked wings. I also ordered a hand pie with caramel and pecan OH MY GOODNESS it was delicious! I would order from there again, but could y'all please have an extra crispy mod for online and Door Dash orders please....”

We love good BBQ, and what we found at Jay’s was nothing short of phenomenal. Hands down, this is some of the best BBQ we’ve ever had. The brisket and OG sausage weren’t just delicious—they were an experience. Every bite was packed with incredible flavor, and we can’t wait to come back again and again!”

“The best food ever. Hawaii Ramen Noodle & Poke Bowl puts me in a really good mood every time I go. And me and my family go a lot. My young children love it too. My favorite ramen to get there is the Tonkatsu ramen level 3 fire and it’s the best as well as the spicy edamame. Their dumplings never fail to taste so good and their crab rangoon are so crispy and delicious. Honestly everything there is so tasty!😋 The people there are always so nice and welcoming too! Definitely our favorite place to go!”

Very fresh and as if the ownerscooks understood the taste profile. Loved it. Also had the focaccia, it isn't like I was expecting but it did NOT disappoint. I loved the blast of garlic and herbs, the mozzarella was so good. Tried the Pasta Samper (Lasagna, Pene Pasta, Manicotti) I love the amount of cheese that covered the dish. The stuffing in the manicotti was so creamy and smooth. I really enjoyed the beef in the dish is well very flavorful and cooked well. The salad with the house dressing is simply delightful. I could tell they were very busy this evening and even then they did not skip out on customer service and making sure the orders were right. No corners cut here. The food was hot, fresh, and overall a wonderful experience. Thank you for this amazing meal will definitely be back. Would love to try the stuffed pizza, calzone, or even Tarimissu next time. (I was tempted but already had plenty of food to sample) Keep up the great work definitely a great value especially with the cost of inflation these days and having to choose wisely where to go when dining out. I can't say enough great things about y'all. Even my partner who is part Italian on their father's side loved the sauce.”

“I just wanna brag on Chelsea's Burgers N' Brew as well as our waitress Erica today. We only come here maybe once a month but we love this place. Today was the first time we’ve been on a Sunday afternoon while the Cowboys are on as we usually go when it’s slower. Place was packed and the staff was swamped and might have been down a person or two in the kitchen. What matters most in times like those are how the restaurant staff handles it! Our waitress Erica was super friendly and professional and after us having to wait around an hour between our appetizer and finally getting our meals, Erica told us that she was gonna comp my wife and I’s two meals and we hadn’t even complained or anything. These local restaurants don’t HAVE to do that, y’all! Any chain restaurant and possibly other locals might have just had you pay any way like “deal with it.” So grateful for that customer service! Food was incredible as well! My wife enjoyed her burger and I highly enjoyed my Walk of Shame brunch dish (first time trying their brunch.) Much love to this place!!”

I’m picky and like a bean burrito with not a ton of beans and the kitchen showed me the burrito before rolling it to see if that was how I wanted it. Then a man that worked there I guess noticed I didn’t finish my food and brought me a sack to take it home with me so it was easier to carry since I had a baby with me, he did this without me saying a word about needing one just thinking he’d make things easier on me to carry. So thoughtful. The place was super clean and the environment was great unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere. They take pride in what they’re putting out and you don’t see that much nowadays especially in fast food.”

“This post is about a month past due. We're new to Abilene, so we've driven by this place never stopped. My son wants me to join him for a late lunch(1-2p). We decided to stop last min, 15min before closing, they close at 2p. The lady that happened to be outside invited us in, sat us at a table and brought out fresh chips and salsa. We ordered our food, it was nice and hot and fresh. The staff were all polite. Most places would have been rude and rushing us out the door since they were closing. Not here. The staff can out with their food say at a table and enjoyed their food must like we were. Very grateful for the awesome attitude they had well late customers. Give them a chance.”

Then a man that worked there I guess noticed I didn’t finish my food and brought me a sack to take it home with me so it was easier to carry since I had a baby with me, he did this without me saying a word about needing one just thinking he’d make things easier on me to carry. So thoughtful. The place was super clean and the environment was great unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere. They take pride in what they’re putting out and you don’t see that much nowadays especially in fast food.”

“ordered 2 double crown and Sprite. Top shelf, not .75 cent well drink. But probably the worst mixed drink I have ever had. The little bartender that was polite at first till I told her my drink sucked, started to get a little rude. Then I got the owner involved, told him my drink sucked. He went and poured a little more Crown in it, but still sucked. By then the bartender girl had a bad attitude. My cousin finished her drink, not sure how, I drank MAYBE 1/4 of my drink, then wiped my mouth and tongue to get that taste out of my mouth, threw napkin in dink and left. Got nothing but attitude from owner and bartender. WONT be going back in there, and maybe that's why there was maybe 10 people there. DONT waist your money or time. Trust me I learned the hard way.”

Brit is one of THE BEST servers we have ever had...she brings so much joy, life, knowledge of the restaurant and food as well such a kind and caring demeanor to her work. The service was excellent and the food was so delicious. The restaurant is authentic and very clean and you have that nostalgic feel of the Abilene of days gone by. It was happy hour, so my drink was 1/2 off ( Happy Hour is 3-4) As I was pulling up to the first window, a young fella poked his head out and smiled and waved me over. He was very friendly and just so precious! Whatever Mr Burger is paying him is not enough! I paid for my food and was given my drink and instructed to go around to the next window to pick up my order. As I was waiting, I took a sip of my drink and I kid you not, the flavor sent me back in time! Not sure what cherry juice they're using but it tasted like it used to when I was a kid! Not like the fake stuff you get at other places. That was the best diet cherry vanilla dp I've had in a long time! I received my order and headed on my way. The corndog was just a corndog, but it was hot and fresh. I didn't think to ask for mustard but it was still delicious. The fried okra was so hot and fresh and tasty! I might ask next if they can make them a little crisper but they were still excellent! I hope to go back soon and try a burger. And I'm already thinking about that drink!”

“My husband wanted to take me out to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. We were a large group of 25 people. Our first choice was Casa Herrera. We called an hour before going and were informed they don’t take reservations, which we knew, but we wanted to give them a heads up. We arrived and were told in a not friendly tone that they couldn’t provide service for 25 people because they didn’t have the room and didn’t want to overwhelm the server. The overall feeling was not welcoming at all. They should have told us over the phone when we called that they could not accommodate us. So my husband called El Chico and they welcomed us with open arms. By the time we got over there, our table was ready and we were greeted with smiles all around. Our server, Severina, was AMAZING! She kept our drinks filled, food came out quickly for such a large party and she always had a smile on her face! Caesar(hopefully I spelled that right), was so accommodating and even gave us FREE QUESO! He was so apologetic for how the other restaurant treated us but was so happy we chose his restaurant. We usually go out as a large group at least every other month if not more often. We were told by Severina that we are all welcome back anytime! We are already planning our next get together!
