“We often walk our dogs at Allen Ridge and stop for lunch at Cork & Pig. We sit in the outdoor patio and enjoy the scenery while also enjoying our favorite pizza. Nicole is our requested server and she is the best. We also enjoy dinner there and the food is wonderful, we have never been disappointed. The wait staff are great and accommodating. We are retired so enjoy eating out often, Cork & Pig is at the top of our list.”

“came to shop and get food! got a combo went to the fountain drinks and they were ALLL out. just ice in one of them and when we went to tell them they said grab a can drink. later we told someone because we felt bad for everyone else that didn’t know because the cashier wasn’t telling anyone. later we over heard someone say “they want us to take down the signs (only 2) on the fountain drink machine” literally didn’t care that people were so confused on why it wasn’t working. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! STEP IT UP especially if we are paying 40+ $$ for memberships!!!”

“It is loud and one of the waitresses skipped us due to the restaurant using a ticket system to let them know is next to be seated. Thankfully our hostess noticed this and seated us herself before going on break. The waitress we had was wonderful super kind and attentive even with how busy she was. Took time to greet our little ones and joked while taking our orders. The staff is always courteous and professional. This roadhouse is by far my favorite to go to. If they are overly busy they will warn us ahead of taking orders instead of apologizing after a long wait. Will come back regularly.”

We explained it was our first time, so they walked us through the menu & explained everything is cooked to order, so it might take a few minutes to come out. She also explained that there were free peanuts we could munch on while waiting for our food. The food came out hot, fresh & delicious. You could tell the staff loved their jobs. We were visited by the lady who took our order and another gentleman who wanted to make sure we were happy. The prices were unbelievably affordable at just under $6, I believe, I got the Queso burger, which they gave me a knife & fork to eat with because there was so much queso on it. We don't live in town, but when we are in the area, we will go out of the way to eat here.”

“Larry's Better Burger is a hidden gem… and by ‘hidden,’ I mean it’s tucked right next to a graveyard, so it has a killer ambiance. The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and suspiciously unforgettable. Rumor has it that they get the meat from very local sources, ?if you catch my drift. But don’t let that spook you—each bite is so good, you won’t care where it came from!

Very fresh and as if the ownerscooks understood the taste profile. Loved it. Also had the focaccia, it isn't like I was expecting but it did NOT disappoint. I loved the blast of garlic and herbs, the mozzarella was so good. Tried the Pasta Samper (Lasagna, Pene Pasta, Manicotti) I love the amount of cheese that covered the dish. The stuffing in the manicotti was so creamy and smooth. I really enjoyed the beef in the dish is well very flavorful and cooked well. The salad with the house dressing is simply delightful. I could tell they were very busy this evening and even then they did not skip out on customer service and making sure the orders were right. No corners cut here. The food was hot, fresh, and overall a wonderful experience. Thank you for this amazing meal will definitely be back. Would love to try the stuffed pizza, calzone, or even Tarimissu next time. (I was tempted but already had plenty of food to sample) Keep up the great work definitely a great value especially with the cost of inflation these days and having to choose wisely where to go when dining out. I can't say enough great things about y'all. Even my partner who is part Italian on their father's side loved the sauce.”

I’m picky and like a bean burrito with not a ton of beans and the kitchen showed me the burrito before rolling it to see if that was how I wanted it. Then a man that worked there I guess noticed I didn’t finish my food and brought me a sack to take it home with me so it was easier to carry since I had a baby with me, he did this without me saying a word about needing one just thinking he’d make things easier on me to carry. So thoughtful. The place was super clean and the environment was great unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere. They take pride in what they’re putting out and you don’t see that much nowadays especially in fast food.”

He went and poured a little more Crown in it, but still sucked. By then the bartender girl had a bad attitude. My cousin finished her drink, not sure how, I drank MAYBE 1/4 of my drink, then wiped my mouth and tongue to get that taste out of my mouth, threw napkin in dink and left. Got nothing but attitude from owner and bartender. WONT be going back in there, and maybe that's why there was maybe 10 people there. DONT waist your money or time. Trust me I learned the hard way.”

“My husband wanted to take me out to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. We were a large group of 25 people. Our first choice was Casa Herrera. We called an hour before going and were informed they don’t take reservations, which we knew, but we wanted to give them a heads up. We arrived and were told in a not friendly tone that they couldn’t provide service for 25 people because they didn’t have the room and didn’t want to overwhelm the server. The overall feeling was not welcoming at all. They should have told us over the phone when we called that they could not accommodate us. So my husband called El Chico and they welcomed us with open arms. By the time we got over there, our table was ready and we were greeted with smiles all around. Our server, Severina, was AMAZING! She kept our drinks filled, food came out quickly for such a large party and she always had a smile on her face! Caesar(hopefully I spelled that right), was so accommodating and even gave us FREE QUESO! He was so apologetic for how the other restaurant treated us but was so happy we chose his restaurant. We usually go out as a large group at least every other month if not more often. We were told by Severina that we are all welcome back anytime! We are already planning our next get together!
