For a buffet experience Route 66 Family Buffet was phenomenal! All of the staff were kind and courteous. All of the food available was fresh and stocked before running out.Kid-friendliness: They have a perfectly labeled "Kids Buffet Bar" which includes many options that kids are attracted to.
This is an old Furrs cafeteria. Pretty much same set up. Less options, I was hoping they would keep the baked cod with that light breaded layer on top. Food is not hot. Luke warm. I think the taste is about the same as Furrs. Quick buffet. 18.00 per adult. Clean and Zac was really awesome.

Laura the supervisor was our waitress and she was extremely uplifting for my wife on a bad day and her service was exceptional!!! This is probably one of our only five places in Amarillo that we go back to because the food is great all the time and the atmosphere is always clean and friendly. The Salisbury steak is over the top and just an all-out great meal with the mushroom gravy!!!
