My mom and I came to Austin to visit my little sister who has been living here for a couple of years. It’s our first night and we were deciding on what to eat for dinner and being Filipino - we were looking for a home cooked meal and Kapatad definitely satisfied that! We visited here on a Friday evening and were immediately greeted and seated by the friendly host. The place was about half full. The menu has both Filipino and Chinese options, as well as basic beer and wine choices. We ordered lumpiang shanghai, lechon kawali, beef kaldereta, plain and fried rice, and a side of plain lo mein for our daughter.
