Been coming here for the last three South by Southwests... We work them for the setup and for the entire two weeks so we typically come here at least 3 or 4 times during our stay.. I don't know how, but this place keeps getting it better and better... The quality is amazing and the price is hard to beat... $9 old fashions? Delicious... Sweet crunchy corn fritters... Crispy potatoes, Texas sweet corn? Not to mention all sorts of smokehouse meats... Done in tasty imaginative ways......read full review
Went for dinner on Sunday April 7 the night before the total solar eclipse in Austin, and it was very very busy, huge parking lot but it was close to full, we were able to get a seat right away at the bar. Great place for dinner, I ordered the Oak smoked Salmon coconut rice bowl which was unbelievably delicious. My girlfriend got the chicken sandwich which was very good too, though the hot honey was very spicy. We just ordered those two entrees and it came to $29 before tip....read full review

Favorite restaurant in Austin. The food is sooo tasty, the chicken karage covered in that sauce is all I ever want. The structure of paying and ordering at the bar and then just getting to leave when you are done eating is how I want every restaurant to be. I have never waited more than 7-10 minutes for the food I ordered to make it to the table. I bring everyone who visits me in Austin here.
