Giving five stars to specifically call out Kirby. She was not only a delightful waitress, she was taking care of the entire front house. One cook. One Kirby. Our table ordered a decent amount of food, so considering circumstances, it took a while for the food to arrive. She did a wonderful job of not only checking on our table but everyone else as well. Food was still hot and delicious. As a visitor from out of town, it is very sad to hear they want to demolish for highway expansion....read full review
This little hidden gem is a great spot to get a fantastic breakfast or lunch! I first visited in the late 90’s, when I first moved to Austin. All these years later (2024), they’re still rockin’ the food and eclectic Austin vibe! Love this place ?

We stopped by because it was right next to the hospital. My husband had the Frito pie and I had the cosmos. Best we've ever had! The flavor was incredible!! The folks working were super nice and polite. Yes, there is definitely an odor when you first walk in, but it didn't affect our food at all. Love the green sparkle booths! We'll definitely be back!!
