“We had to come to SA for a medical appt. Going out to eat is always challenging because we need gluten free. This place nailed it! By far, one of the best g/f eaterys we've ever been to! The wings are sooo good and although the one size only (10 inch) g/ f pizza only came in a thin crust, it was absolutely delicious! And we usually don't care for thin crust but the fresh toppings and overall perfect sauce and cheese ratio made us forget all about the crust. We had a couple mixed drinks and although pretty pricey ($12 for a small glass), I have no problem paying for something if it's good quality... And these were very nice quality cocktails! The service was friendly and the time from ordering to food arrival was perfect. We have to go back to SA next week and we're already looking forward to another Mellow Mushroom night! We typically get a few of the same items such as walnut shrimp, seafood tofu soup or the seaweed tofu soup (both of which don't taste fishy), shrimp fried rice, garlic baby bok choy, ong choy and yu choy-- veggies. Everything is good every time! Don't be fooled by its tiny look from the outside looking in, go try it!Kid-friendliness: Booths are easy for us with a toddler.“

“Went for breakfast on a whim with my wife and chose Magnolia Pancake House. Best coffee we've had since the Hawaiian coffee at Dukes in Waikiki. Chose the Magnolia house breakfast with pecan pancakes. This was our second visit and must say it was definitely worth the morning drive. Totally recommend any of their locations. We have been to the one on 1604 and this last visit was at the Huebner location.“

One of the owners was behind the counter when we came in and saw my confusion as I was looking at the menu and took time to explain the ordering process and all the special ingredients. I had the crispy chicken in the pork belly broth ramen and it was SOOOO DELICIOUS. The broth was smooth, salty, hot, and well seasoned. The noodles were tender and plentiful. I did not expect so many different toppings in the soup - it was like an adventure eating such a giant bowl of fresh, delicious ingredients! Between the delicious food and the wonderful, friendly service I will DEFINITELY make this one of my regular stops! Thank you for an incredible meal!“
