“Maybe I'm biased, but working on the ILS/radios here over the years, I have never had a bad experience at the cafe! Lunch at the airport is what I always look forward to when heading to Lufkin! Fries & the Jr burger are enough to fill an adult up. A full size burger might leave you feeling woozy, like you ate too much! ;) Don't say I didn't warn you! I've brought my family here a couple times when the kids were still young enough to enjoy visiting the nearby Lufkin Zoo (another hidden gem).”

“The food was great as always, but the service with Alex was top tier! We're from Tyler and I said it's a shame we don't live closer. Alex was on top of everything without us even asking, from refills to extra sauces, and bread and butter.”

“The cookie was okay. I ordered a cookie dough but it lacked chucks of cookie dough. We walked in and there were 3 workers who looked at us and spoke not a word. Perhaps they were made at each other. They spoke not a word to each other or us. Very awkward.”

“I absolutely LOVE this place. It has been my favorite restaurant for years and I go almost every Saturday. The staff never fail to talk to me and remember who I am and the food is always amazing. As someone with a lot of social anxiety, I feel comfortable eating here because everyone is always so amazing. I bring all of my friends and family here and have never heard a bad word about it from anyone. I wish happiness on everyone who works here and know that those who eat here will experience that happiness as well.”

My only complaint is the lack of non-dairy options, my son was disappointed he couldn't have ice cream with the rest of us. But other than that, is definitely recommend!”

“Ran into someone from this restaurant at Walmart and had a discussion about yellow curry. Decided to try the place out through DoorDash delivery, so can’t speak for the atmosphere, but the food was very tasty. Ordered a Reuben and disco fries and both were very good.”

“We came on a Sunday during lunch time and were seated right away, our waitress was pretty nice. The rolls were pretty solid, I'd say a 4/5. The skillet cornbread was a little on the dry side and I feel like the cinnamon butter was giving it an odd taste so I'd have to give it 3/5. The chicken fried chicken with garlic mash potatoes and jalapeño gravy was pretty good, but the chicken fried chicken was quite thin so I'd give it a 4/5. Lastly the Dr. Pepper chocolate cake was so good especially with the strawberries, 4.5/5! I would recommend and will be back!”

Garlic knots are the best bread I’ve had anywhere. 3-6pm happy hour was a pleasant surprise as well!Dietary restrictions: A dish with onions was served but not listed as an ingredient on menu. “I have ordered a custom cake in the past from Yokis and they did such an excellent job! We recently went to try their breakfast tacos and a slice of carrot cake, everything was so delicious! Probably some of the best breakfast tacos in town! Leslie who was working the front was super friendly and so helpful with us placing our order! This will for sure be a regular spot for us!! They serve lunch too!”

“Wow! Delicious! Excellent service! Peaceful! My nephew got the catfish basket with fries, hushpuppies, and a slice of onion. He said it was pretty good but next time he's getting a burger :). Momma and I had the bacon cheese burgers... DELICIOUS! Real meat and thick juicy bacon! We shared a large onion rings but next time we will skip the rings and get the CRISPY yet soft on the inside fries! (YES we stole a couple from my nephew lol). We all had shakes and they were good and we would get them again. The outdoor service provided by SUSAN was above and beyond what anyone could ask for! We stopped in to say hi to a friend, and found more than we imagined, the selection of Gluten free options was very nice and greatly appreciated, my cheese cake was absolutely perfect, silky smooth and creamy, I couldn't ask for a better one, my wife had the cinnamon roll, and she loves it, Very fluffy, and the icing was so rich, overall EXCELLENCE!!”

“Eat here a few weeks back while on a business trip. It was recommended for the best steak around. When I arrived I was promptly greeted and sat with my drink order taken. I am a ribeye steak guy but the fillet was recommended by several that I worked with. I had a salad with the blue cheese dressing, potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and the best tasting steak I’ve ever had. The house style 8oz. fillet. It was phenomenal. Definitely recommend and will return should I visit this area again.”
