“Unassuming local restaurant we happened to find on our way back to Houston after watching the eclipse. The ambiance is small town cafe, but the entrees were outstanding Italian flavor. We had the lobster ravioli and spaghetti with Italian sausage and mushrooms.”

“I knew this place existed but wasn't aware of all that they have packed inside this little building.They are a mercado, butcher, restaurant.... A little bit if everything. Had some breakfast tacos that were exceptional and fed three adult humans for less than $15. They have my repeat business for sure. “I had the ground beef chimichangas and they were very good. The rice and beans were very flavorful. Guacamole was a little disappointing. Queso was excellent! Service was great with chips and salsa appearing any time they got low. Will go again.”

“This was a special event. Steaktober Fest. Steaks prepared by Circle C Catering of Cameron Texas. Steaks were excellent! Seating for this event was both inside and outside in front of Bea's. Lunch for seniors is normally served here at Bea's Kitchen during the week, except on Fridays. Location is available to rent for private use. Has full kitchen, entrance has a nice seating area with television. Main hall seats about 150 people. Kept up well.”

“This was our first time here. Let me just say it was absolutely wonderful! From the quick responses by messenger to our server to everyone we encountered it blew me away. The friendliness of everyone upon our arrival until we left was outstanding. The place itself is just so beautiful. So let's talk about the food. We started off with the pimento cheese and spicy crackers. Nice appetizer. I ordered the 12oz ribeye , baked potato, and spicy cream corn. So delicious. I used a butter knife to cut my steak. Juicy and tender and cooked the way I wanted it. The corn was a nice dish too. My boyfriend ordered the surf n turf and it was good as well, the shrimp were big. Portions are huge. We definitely have leftovers. We did have to try the dessert and had the apple cobbler and it was just right for us two. I already can't wait to go back.”

“This place has some good juicy subways the employees are ok but I want to say that the employee boy named Jaycee(I’m very sorry if I spelled your name wrong) he is wonderful he makes the best sandwiches not to big nor to small and he is the sweetest one here. He is the one that stood out the most he was doing his job and wasn’t complaining I just wanted to say that. But I definitely recommend this place if you don’t know where to eat”

“Good little BBQ restaurant. The brisket was moist, not dry like other establishments of this sort. The employees were engaging and very helpful. I ordered the single meat plate with potato salad and fried okra as my two sides, both met my expectation of taste and quality. I’ve been here a handful of times over the years, no complaints. I always leave satisfied.”

“First time at a golden chick and the food was pretty good. The chicken salad was not my cup of tea but then again it's geared towards others who seem to like grapes and Hellmans mayonnaise.Parking: Parking is very limited. Also difficult if they have a delivery. Just a small place nothing they can control just can be difficult.”

“I recommend it because it's really an awesome venue out and among the Post Oaks, set up on a hill, with beautiful country vistas. The trip there is, in and of itself, a nice country ride. The food is good, the beer is cold, and the owner dedicates his time and energy to the Rockdale Volunteer FD as its' Chief, on call 24/7.”
