“I haven’t eaten in a burger joint like this since I was a child. Basic but delicious burgers, chips and a soda in a down-home atmosphere. I really enjoyed it.”
“Found this little gem passing through on a road trip. Coffee and service were great and has to be the most beautiful coffee shop we’ve ever been in. Definitely worth a stop if you’re passing through Cameron!”
“Great find across the street from the Milam County courthouse!Really friendly staff; bunch of draft beers (mostly Texas-brewers); family-friendly atmosphere; fun open bar/restaurant with pool tables and darts; big open space out back; hot fresh food that’s really tasty.Wish every small Texas town had a Cameron Beer Market…although it would take a LOT longer to travel across Texas if they did! ?Wheelchair accessibility: Easy front door access and fully accessible restroom”
“Unassuming local restaurant we happened to find on our way back to Houston after watching the eclipse. The ambiance is small town cafe, but the entrees were outstanding Italian flavor. We had the lobster ravioli and spaghetti with Italian sausage and mushrooms.”
“We stopped by mid afternoon for an ice cream treat and a break from motorcycling. Yum all the way and very nice folks. FYI they offer a military discount as well!”
“I knew this place existed but wasn't aware of all that they have packed inside this little building. They are a mercado, butcher, restaurant.... A little bit if everything. Had some breakfast tacos that were exceptional and fed three adult humans for less than $15. They have my repeat business for sure. And they're open 6 days a week 6am until 10pm and have different hours on Sunday.Parking: Yup, parkingWheelchair accessibility: Yup”
“I had the ground beef chimichangas and they were very good. The rice and beans were very flavorful. Guacamole was a little disappointing. Queso was excellent! Service was great with chips and salsa appearing any time they got low. Will go again.”
“The meats are seasoned so well. Everything we ate was great. The pricing was so good I couldn't believe it at first. Lots of seating space, it's bigger than it seems from the outside.”
“The owners are hometown, friendly high-school sweethearts. This is a great place to lean back & relax for a while.Parking: Plenty of parking options located in the front, back, and side of building.Kid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes”
“New in town so I had to try out some Mex restaurants... We ordered 3 things and ended up paying $47.. that was too much.. the service n food where good.. but overall the cost was too high.. for what we got. .”
“This was a special event. Steaktober Fest. Steaks prepared by Circle C Catering of Cameron Texas. Steaks were excellent! Seating for this event was both inside and outside in front of Bea's. Lunch for seniors is normally served here at Bea's Kitchen during the week, except on Fridays. Location is available to rent for private use. Has full kitchen, entrance has a nice seating area with television. Main hall seats about 150 people. Kept up well.”
“Always yummy food. Great salads and sandwiches. Homemade buns make it hard to resist the bread. Breakfast is always fabulous too. Daily specials are something else to look at.”
“Without a doubt the best restaurant in Milam County. Bob's is always consistent and never disappoints. Great steaks, sides, and some of the best chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken in Texas. Highly recommend!”
“A 20 year plus staple on our hometown! Not only barbq check out their daily specials for home cooking to take home or dine in!Kid-friendliness: Lots of space with inside dinning for kids.”
“This was our first time here. Let me just say it was absolutely wonderful! From the quick responses by messenger to our server to everyone we encountered it blew me away. The friendliness of everyone upon our arrival until we left was outstanding. The place itself is just so beautiful. So let's talk about the food. We started off with the pimento cheese and spicy crackers. Nice appetizer. I ordered the 12oz ribeye , baked potato, and spicy cream corn. So delicious. I used a butter knife to cut my steak. Juicy and tender and cooked the way I wanted it. The corn was a nice dish too. My boyfriend ordered the surf n turf and it was good as well, the shrimp were big. Portions are huge. We definitely have leftovers. We did have to try the dessert and had the apple cobbler and it was just right for us two. I already can't wait to go back.”
“This place has some good juicy subways the employees are ok but I want to say that the employee boy named Jaycee(I’m very sorry if I spelled your name wrong) he is wonderful he makes the best sandwiches not to big nor to small and he is the sweetest one here. He is the one that stood out the most he was doing his job and wasn’t complaining I just wanted to say that. But I definitely recommend this place if you don’t know where to eat”
“Good little BBQ restaurant. The brisket was moist, not dry like other establishments of this sort. The employees were engaging and very helpful. I ordered the single meat plate with potato salad and fried okra as my two sides, both met my expectation of taste and quality. I’ve been here a handful of times over the years, no complaints. I always leave satisfied.”
“First time at a golden chick and the food was pretty good. The chicken salad was not my cup of tea but then again it's geared towards others who seem to like grapes and Hellmans mayonnaise.Parking: Parking is very limited. Also difficult if they have a delivery. Just a small place nothing they can control just can be difficult.”
“Food good, for sure! Service ok. Cashier mumbled like most young kids theses days. Ladies in the back were loud complaining about drive thru customers. For going right when they opened, you can tell someone didn't check the bathrooms since there was no toilet paper.”
“I recommend it because it's really an awesome venue out and among the Post Oaks, set up on a hill, with beautiful country vistas. The trip there is, in and of itself, a nice country ride. The food is good, the beer is cold, and the owner dedicates his time and energy to the Rockdale Volunteer FD as its' Chief, on call 24/7.”
