“Got a recommendation from one of the owners at Guadalupe Brewing to try this place. We have made it our official italian restaurant. Other places are closer but we drive an hour to get here. Have made numerous visits and not a disappointment yet. There is a wait if you go at peak times, but I adjust my times to avoid the crowds. We dine in but usually get something to go for later. My per person price is a little high but I like the food, drinks and desserts.”

“We moved from NB to CL a few months ago, and this is our new go-to for a quick delish bite to eat. The food is consistently good and ordering with them through the "Toast" app is quick and easy. I can drive down the road and chill in the car and I get a text when it's ready if I have walked up and ordered at the window. The staff is always smiling, super friendly, and accommodating.We have had the Patty Melts, several types of burgers, onion rings, tots, and fries. I would get each item again.Definitely recommend and can see this being our after river spot for a long time!”

“OMG! Carne Asada burrito is easily one of the best I have ever had, and definitely the best one I have had in Texas, anywhere. I have been back twice since the first visit and I wish I could comment on their other menu items, but I am stuck ordering the same item each time. It is sooooo good. The flour tortilla is just amazingly toasted to perfection. You place your order and they give you the beeper and you can sit in your car until your order is complete. I can't say enough about this place. You WILL go back, Trust me on this.”

“Came from Corpus Christi to enjoy our weekend at canyon lake,decided to stop by since we pass it going to and from our camp site everyday and we were BLOWN away. The owner and staff were so nice and attentive AND THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!! 10/10 we’ll be coming back every time we visit the lake.One more thing,thank you for being so kind to our pups and offering them some of your delicious brisket and water.”

“This place has some pretty good sushi! Especially being so far out from a big city, its a hidden gem tbh. I had a wonderful time there and everyone was very nice, the servings were pretty big for the bowl we got and my hand rolls were deliciousParking: There’s multiple businesses around in that small plaza so parking can be hard to get when its busy, the lot isnt too big either but its manageable”

“Flavor: A+Service: ATea: ASolo dining: AThis is a killer burger. I got the double ringer and couldn’t finish it. And I can throw down some burger. All of the seating is outside so I wouldn’t go on just any day. But the flavorful, greasy (but not too greasy) burger will be bringing me back again and again.”

“I can't praise My Sweet Basil enough. I've eaten there numerous times now and always leave overly impressed with some aspect of my visit. The customer service is never short of remarkable. The food is always fresh and they constantly offer something new. I bring my two toddlers with me and he even goes as far as cutting up the grapes to the right size for them. It's hands down my favorite place to eat in the area. I truly appreciate you guys.”

“What a great local find! I ordered the grilled cheese with the mushroom soup. I had to compliment Sylvia, the owner and chef of the restaurant, as this was quite possibly the best mushroom soup I've ever had. Family-run, clean and friendly. It was a random find, and boy are we glad we did!”

“Interesting little place, had to try from the high rating. Not quite sure how to rate.... The owner/cook is super nice and attentive. Cluttered little place that is in a strip mall. Seems a little run down, with no hood system, and many electrical hazards. Food was decent and probably better for lunch or take-out.”

“I have been going to the nutrition shack for a while now. I'm a repeat customer and have even joined in on a work out session ( OMG I was so proud of myself by the end! Those women are B.A.Bs for sure! But the shakes? oh EM GEE amazing! Right now iv been on their girl scout cookies thin mints while it's in season! Think thin mints in milkshake form....So yummy! I also paired it with a razzberry energy shot! It not only gives me the boost I need but it has ingredients that are great for my immune system. They have so many flavors and different types of boosters! Check them out! If you're disappointed (which you won't be) I will personally get you a different one to try. They put a lot of love for people and their community! They make sure you leave with a smile and also warmth in your heart ?”

“Worth the wait! We went for lunch on a Sunday so naturally a busy time of day for this sort of concept. We're from out of town and our party of 4 added to the waitlist and told wait will be about 20-25 minutes. While waiting, we kept seeing folks get seated that arrived after we did. Apparently, they take reservations so heads up on that! I had the two egg biscuit and gravy dish. So much food and so good!!”

“If you're looking for a delicious, off-the-beaten-path experience, check out this place. The Pho was great, and the "Roadrunner's Nest" was fantastic. The place was super clean and the people couldn't have been nicer. Worth a trip off the main road, but go early; the small kitchen can get backed-up during the dinner rush.”

“First time to stop by here, the breakfast taco was fantastic. Wanted a hotdogs but were told it was a 30+ minute wait, turned our the wait for the taco was longer.... but sometimes good food is worth the wait.We will be back!”
