“I can’t say enough about this special spot. We saw PB&J with Tay on The Texas Bucket List and made sure to stop by when we were in San Antonio. I brought my family of 8, and within five minutes after ordering, we all had our food. The selection of unique PB&J combos was amazing! We each ordered a different version to try. The standouts were The Double Decker, The Elvis, and The Rocky Road. It was a perfect twist on a nostalgic favorite. The bread was soft and fluffy, but perfectly toasted. The different jams and jellies alongside peanut butter and toppings like bacon and banana were delightful!The owner, Jeremiah, is incredibly warm and friendly, and made sure everyone got the full rundown of the menu and all the combinations we could try. We will be back for sure! “Walking into this place gives such a great cozy atmosphere, the smell of the food cooking hits right when you walk in, the cashier greets you with one of the friendliest attitudes I've seen, and the food, easily one of the best sandwiches I've ever had, the philly cheese steak I had was so warm and the cheese was extremely gooey, everything tastes amazing, 11/10 would absolutely come here again!“

Love the toasted taste and the eclectic vibe of this restaurant! This location has a great patio too, so it's great for meeting with your SO and or a friend group. Also love their baked goodies! The folks who work there give awesome service - they're all friendly and very helpful! I first visited the Austin location with my college student then when I saw the sign here in SA I was super excited! And they don't disappoint!! It's truly an awesome shop! A simple menu packed with delicious food.First of all, finding a place to park may be a bit of a challenge but going slightly out of your way will be well worth the effort. If you can't find a spot in front of the place, there are numerous places to park on nearby side streets.It's a compact space with a full view of the kitchen. You'll be greeted at the counter and directed to a board with the menu. There are hoagies of all varieties. We opted for the curry chicken salad. It was a HUGE sandwich stuffed with delicious creamy and slightly sweet chicken curry salad. Tomatoes and thin slices of onion top the filling. Grab your drink from the selections of sodas, teas, Tops in the cooler, grab some chips and wait for your order to be brought to you. Seating is picnic tables and two-tops outside the deli. “The restaurant is in a great location and it was nice and clean. The sandwich I ordered tasted fresh, but it wasn't great. I expected more from a specialty restaurant but received what I could make at home for a fraction of the cost. The sandwich, side, and drink was in the $15.00 range, which would have been great if the service was better and the sandwich was prepared a little better. I love sandwich shops, so I'm glad I visited but will not be in a hurry to go back.“

“I was genuinely surprised at how good this place is. Even price wise, it wasn't too bad. They made ordering very easy with A LOT of options. Plenty of staff to get you in and out. My only gripe is the parking lot is small and awkward to get in and out of (not that they can do anything about it).Parking: Very few spots. Hard to get in and out of the lot. “Walked in, ordered my regular giant #6 on wheat, mike's way, and it was made PERFECT. The service was awesome. They had all staff all hands on deck. No one was sitting around doing nothing. Everyone behind the counter was working and when every customer was served, they restocked their fresh ingredients. The restaurant was clean and so was the eating area. Work stations were also constantly cleaned off for making new sandwiches. This team was awesome.“

“Such a great little place on the south side! Benny and Maria (the owners) take pride in their shop and it is one of our favorite places to grab a quick bite to eat. Maria makes all the soups herself and they are AMAZING! My favorite is the loaded baked potato soup, but the tomato bisque is excellent as well. I always get the grilled cheese and soup and it hits the spot. Maria's brownies are so yummy and I always make sure to buy an extra one for my dad because they are his favorite. My kids also love coming here for both the food and because they love the outdoor seating area. There is a giant connect four game and space for them to play while we enjoy our food. “JK’s is a great spot for a traditional hot dog or beef sandwich that remind me of my visits to Chicago when I was a kid! I love an old school Chicago dog! “We are from Laredo and this location on Nacogdoches is a must stop for us when flying in or out of San Antonio. Schlotzsky's is one of our absolute favorite restaurants and i must say, in the past 15 months this location has seen a total transformation! The staff and management are super friendly and attentive, their service is excellent and the restaurant is clean, neat and orderly. And of course, their food is amazing! I remember as a kid eating at the original restaurant in Austin and it is every bit as good or better as it was back then.“

“I've been her a couple times to pick up my to go order. I order from the app and go inside the walmart to get my order. I have been lucky enough to see Kelly both times and I want to take time to say she is very nice and polite to her customers. She greets everyone with a big beautiful smile. “It's located in the food court on the first floor of the mall. The cheese stake sandwich is made fresh and piping hot right in front of you and is very delicious. Two types of chili peppers of your choice. In this day and age, it's so delicious at this price in the heart of downtown! “Don't tell Kneaders, but I was there in the area working and had them for breakfast. After lunch, I came across Lenny's and noticed yall also had a Turkey Alvocado and Bacon sandwich. I always push to try something different, but part of me wondered what yall would be like vs.? DWAM, yalls sandwich was a hit out of the park! The bacon was crunchy, the turkey was sliced, not shredded, and there was a good amount of it vs. what looked like a pinch of the center of the sandwich I had for breakfast. The alvocado was a spread not chopped in cubes, and there was a bite of jalapeño in the sandwich. I got it Lenny's way with no additional charge and was given more for a 10 inch for less than my breakfast.“

“Stopped by Potbelly's for a quick lunch, marking my return after about 8 years, and it was quite enjoyable. They offer skinny, original, and big subs, though unfortunately, there wasn't a display showing all three options. It got a bit confusing when I asked to see what a skinny sub looks like, and the sandwich maker mentioned they didn't have one on display. As he described it, it seemed like the original sub was cut vertically, but in reality, it's made to be 5 inches long. We ended up ordering a skinny Italian sub, a meatball sub, soup and drinks, and chips—all of which tasted great. The staff was friendly, the service was fast, and both the restaurant and bathroom were clean. There are plenty of windows letting in natural light and offering an amazing view of Broadway Street.“

I found myself pulling bread off and eating just the meat because it was too much bread for me. The guy that took our order was cool peoples. Very polite, welcoming, and friendly. “First off, I would come here strictly for the service. We've been talking about the lack of customer service anymore but the workers here hopefully get paid their worth because they were beyond wonderful! Then the bread was wonderful, I loved that the meat was sliced right in front of me at the perfect thickness and when I told the employee I was new, she immediately recommended hot and cold subs. We tried both her recommendations and they were the best I've had here in San Antonio. I'd give this place more stars if I could. My children (super picky eaters) even ate their salami sandwiches completely.“

“First subway I've been to in a good while where they were staffed adequately, the employees didn't look over stimulated or over worked, freaking out like other subways, it was clean, looks like they got a 100 on their inspection, super pleasant surprise on this side of town, they didn't skimp out on me when I asked for black olives, which subway usually does lol, and the service was fast. “I ordered the broccoli cheddar soup online and went in to pick it up. It was 2pm and not busy at all. My food was ready for pick up and I brought it back to my job to eat. The soup was delicious and I wish they offered it in bigger sizes than a cup. I ate it all in less than 5 minutes. It was hot and tasty. Highly recommend.“

And a lot of your other employees which I don't know their names are also great.But the only downside to this Location is a man named Eric. Me and my family have seen him stick his hands /gloves in his mouth and touch food. We absolutely will not come in if we see him working. For fear that he is not keeping up with cleanliness to be able to touch our food and we don't want to get sick.“
