“We are new to Cedar Hill and looking for new go-to favorite spots. As soon as we pulled in the parking lot, we knew it was a popular place. We were greeted with a sign on the door that says they do not serve people with a strong smell of marijuana. Love that! Even though the restaurant was clearly very busy, we were promptly seated. Our server was great; she was very fast and attentive. We ordered drinks, they came out fast. We ordered our food and it was fast, too. The whole atmosphere is jumping and the restaurant meticulously renovated and decorated. Most people were dressed very nicely. I like that in a restaurant. Nicely dressed patrons. It makes the restaurant feel higher end. Everything was very fresh. My husband ordered the fajita fiesta platter and the shrimp were huge! Everything on his plate looked great! I had the fish tacos. Very yummy. The charro beans were awesome! My only complaint would be they serve fish tacos on corn tortillas and the weight of the fish and other things in the taco did not hold and my tortillas broke on the bottom so I had to eat them with a knife and fork. That’s where my 4 stars out of 5 come from. Otherwise, everything on my plate tasted wonderful and it wasn’t a deal breaker, but I would recommend they use two tortillas per taco, cook them a little longer so they aren’t so soft, or use flour tortillas. I love fish tacos, and I don’t think I’ve ever experienced all of my fish tacos break apart like that so that was a little disappointing. I kept noticing the servers walking past with several different fun-looking frozen drink concoctions on their trays that looked really good. Now that I know that, I will be going back soon to try a few of those! Overall, Campuzano did not disappoint and we left, knowing we will return!Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance to the restaurant is a ramp.“
“I've eaten here previously but only had a small portion of the birria tacos because my baby girl loved them and took over the plate so I decided to stop by again, alone. The barbacoa is the best I've ever had and I have tried 1000's of taqueria's and restaurants, Mexican is my favorite cuisine. Their salsa roja served with the chips is my sauce of preference. They keep the establishment clean and they are always pleasant! And I am picky about what I eat, says the people that watch me so closely ?.“
“Even though I ordered takeout from La toska, the dine in had a warm and authentic ambiance and thoughtfully spaced. Service was great and food was even better. But take a moment familiarize yourself with the menu options ensuring you choose something that fits your tastes. I made the very mistake of not doing this. Portion sizes are crazy big.“
“It was a nice place, good quality food but there's a charge for refills so it'll be on the roster for that but besides that it's a good restaurant, it may look small from the outside, but the inside is large roomy and beautiful murals on the “
“We liked the food (Mondongo) was what we were looking to try, in addition to the recommendation of the horchata. The service was always punctual, and even though we asked for additional things they were quick to deliver.Parking: It is a small square, with enough parking.“
“We've been here 2 times and both times were 10/10. Authentic Mexican food is hard to find but I'm glad we found this place. We were greeted as soon as we entered and felt very welcomed. The food came fast and hot. We ordered a molcajete for 2 & I'm pretty sure it could feed 4 people maybe even more. I was surprised on the amount of meat it had. They also give you a good amount of tortillas to go with it. We had the Ferrero Rocher ice cream for dessert and it was also delicious. It is a little pricey but definitely worth it!“
“Food was very authentic and homemade tasting. It's Mexican and Salvadoran restaurant. Small and homely. We ate the Salvadoran food. It was so good and the 2 ladies were so friendly. Kinda gave you tia and abuela vibes! We have a new spot.Wheelchair accessibility: Well we had a walker with wheels. It's a little small in there but the tables are easy to move if you have to with a wheelchair“
“My mom owns the taqueria inside the convenient store and her food is amazing, she makes breakfast tacos, gorditas, quesadillas, flautists... and much more and it's all authentic Mexican food, very delicious it'll have you craving more“
“I'll give fancy for tasty at anytime. Saying that, this this is a simple looking place but it serves great tasting food. Good prices. Lunch and happy hour specials. Good customer service. Family/kid friendly. I believe on Tuesday evenings they have karaoke. The beef fajitas are ? recommended!“
“The staff was friendly and the food was good. They stay pretty busy. It's not very spacious, but it's conveniently located off the freeway. I will have to go back to actually try an entire meal, because I only had barbacoa tacos. They were pretty good. I would have preferred homemade tortillas though.“
“My food was great but the preparation was poor.I ordered the Grande Nachos to go. When I got my order, all of the condiments were in the same container. I don't eat guacamole but it was in the same container with the sour cream, Pico, and jalapeños.“
“The food is very delicious, the sauces, the fresh waters delicious! We ate quesabirrias and the consommé was really delicious ? we tried the green flautas, the deli chicharrón gorditas!!! And the sopes don't even mention it. I really recommend it ??“
“Second time at Veracruz and another great experience. We had the red snapper Veracruzano and Fish stuffed with crab and shrimp that meal came with cheese enchiladas. To drink we had Tamarindo margarita was well balanced and delicious. Also tried limonada(lemonade) and guanabana(soursop) water. Drinks also good, not to sweet.“
