“Nice variety of food. The food isn't cheap(what is nowadays?) but it's consistently well prepared. I like a lot of spice/flavor so sometimes I'm adding salt/pepper/seasoning salt/hot sauce but the potatoes are always fresh and the toppings of a good quality. I would probably give them a 4.5 overall but I think 5 stars is appropriate if you're basing it off other place's spuds. I will say if you've got a big appetite you will probably need a side or dessert to go with it. Either that or eat your girl's leftovers, they never finish theirs! Probably more information than you needed. Oh well, a nice change of pace from your typical fast food place. And the girls working there have always been super nice. Keep up the good work. “In town visiting TAMU, this was my son’s choice and we were not disappointed. Our party got burnt ends, 2 brisket sandwiches, Mac and cheese, corn on the cob, loaded mashed potatoes and peach cobbler. Everything was delicious. Young man at register was very nice. Great visit!“

Thank you for supporting your customers when mistakes happen.The young lady seemed new and timid, unsure of herself as if her first job. I was trying to be delicate with her as customers, and new jobs can be intimidating at times. But the quick response of the Owner told me this is a 1st class establishment and if in town again, I will remember this restaurant.I do recommend eating at Schlotzsky's at this location. My only recommendation would be to lay the meat evenly on the sandwich. Don't clump a wad in the middle, eating large portions of raw bun on the perimeter of half the bun. And since I am saying this, and Owner seems diligent and supportive on other issues, I am sure he will fix this issue too. “Loaded sandwich for $11 that doesn't taste like it has a bunch of filler toxic ingredients? Grav yourself a roast beef #8 thank me later! The beef itself is a little "bland" but the upside is that it tastes like real meat compared to the fake toxic fast food places. I feel great after chowing down on this sandwich l. “Buppy's catering & Bartending catered my wedding of 180 people expertly. The staff was friendly and patient with our wedding planning, and helped us to craft a menu that we thoroughly enjoyed and were extremely happy to share with our guests. There were several recommendations made by Buppy and the staff that helped us create a fully formed experience from cocktail hour to dinner, and being people who are hard to decide, we were unbelievably grateful for the help. The pricing is more than reasonable, and the range of products will accommodate many budgets without sacrificing quality. The company also provides a variety of services, of which we added on bussing services to avoid needing to clean up during our wedding. The bussers were an incredible addition that were absolutely worth it (if your on the fence, please please please spend the extra money for this service). The bussers were excellent and kept the venue clear of finished plates and drinks throughout our event, as task that we didn't want any of our guests to have to do.We want to write a well rounded review, and have thought of any negatives we experienced while working with Buppy's Catering & Bartending, but were not able to identify any. “Was here for dinner on a Saturday night. Had chicken and brisket plate. The chicken was great! The brisket had a good flavor but was incredibly dry and not hot at all. Felt like it had been sitting under the heat lamp since the end of the lunch rush.“
“We are big fans of 1775 and frequent regularly. When it came time to cater our wedding, it was a no brainer what we wanted. Brad and his team executed flawlessly. We had a spread including their brisket, turkey, sausage, smoked mac and cheese, loaded mashed potatoes, and cucumber salad. Our guests raved that the food was the best wedding food they’d ever had. Some amateur pitmaster guests were even trying to get some tips from the 1775 team on how they could recreate such delicious food. The portions were so generous we have meals upon meals of leftovers vacuum sealed in our freezer - much better than a frozen top tier of a wedding cake! Seriously, these people are absolutely wonderful, and we fully believe they have some of the best BBQ in the state of Texas (and yes, we’ve tried a lot!). We would love to keep this wonderful place our local hidden gem, but we think they should be in Texas Monthly’s Top 50 BBQ list.“
