“I took some colleagues to lunch at Urban Table. I hate the pressure of treating visitors! But Urban Table was a solid choice. We all had the Miso Salmon and it was DELICIOUS. They were still talking about it the next day! To top it off, the service is amazing. Ethan was our server. It was raining when we left so Ethan came with an umbrella to walk me to my car. Talk about hospitality! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.”

“We eat out a lot (which may not be budget friendly or healthy, but we love to try different foods and restaurants!) College Station in general is not known for good food. Normally, the food there is subpar. Sushimasa has blown up this realty. It is one of my top restaurants to go to. Food is fresh. The seafood soup has actual medium-sized scallops!! The unique salmon skin salad is delicious (if u r into cucumbers)! For those that don’t eat raw fish, they also have teriyaki beef and chicken. These are very small portions, so order a few orders together initially to start. We had a party of 6 and were seated in a nice booth. Atmosphere is very tranquil and pretty. For a reasonable price ($33/person), we ordered all-u-can-eat. It comes with an alcoholic drink or refillable soda, 2 pages of items to order from, and delicious desserts. For dessert, we ordered the the fried cheese cake, green matcha / strawberry ice creams, and fried bananas. Highly recommended.”

“Found Stella Southern Cafe on Maps researching BCS dining options I wanted to try while in the area.The Mrs and I were out in the greater CS area after the Bryan farmers market and looking for brunch options. They were pretty busy when we arrived as the line was several groups deep... but the staff moved pretty efficiently and we were up in no time.I got the Southern Benedict with a side of grits. The Mrs got the chicken and biscuit French toast(?), which wasn't. Better described as drop biscuits or Johnny cakes, but definitely NOT French toast.Clearly lots of scratch made and a likely option next time we're wanting breakfast or brunch.”

Got a prompt response and an estimated time. Showed up to get my food and Charlie lived up to the hype. Charlie himself was a pleasure to talk with. He definitely exuded the vibes of someone who loves his craft, and knows he's good at it. It's so nice to visit a place that doesn't feel like a corporation, just a dude doing what he loves and sharing his talent. Paid my tab and he handed me my bag, which I almost dropped because it was so much heavier than I expected. He told me there were enough fries in there to choke a man, I laughed and said it sounded like me. A cute joke I thought... but he wasn't kidding.Got home, sat down, and opened it up. Oh my god. Don't try to be a hero, Charlie isn't messing around with portions! I'm a big guy, and I couldn't finish it. I tried, I truly did. The Bigggg Bacondouble was the best burger I've had in recent memory. It blew the doors off anything I've had since coming to College Station. Just a tick of sweetness, a bit of crunch, and balanced perfectly. The fries were a surprise. At first I thought they were a little bland but after eating a few the flavor builds and you just can't put them down. I wanted to, but I wasn't able to finish the fries either, Charlie wasn't kidding, I would have choked. Seriously, I will be back as soon as I recover. This is now my favorite food in College Station.”

“It was my husband and kids first time there and it was my 3rd and I was really excited for them to try it, and the LOVED it just like I knew they would. Also the waitress we had was Phenomenal I don't recall her name but she made sure we had everything we needed, she took great care of us. “One of my go to places for food in College Station. The prices are great and the portion sizes are huge! All the employees I've encountered have been curteous and professional. The food has been served hot and in a to go container. This makes carrying left overs around campus really easy. Everything I've tried there has been delicious! I enjoy their rotating lunch specials, and I enjoy their dinner menu. They're Wonton Soup is full of Wontons, it takes me two sittings to eat everything. Their orange chicken is also spicy and delicious. I will be going back to try more things!Parking: Be careful where you park, you might get towed. The restaurant has a sign on it that gives recommended parking.”

Bring your own. It will be cold inside. Bring a sweater or blanket. I used to be fine with this because the food was so good, but lately I’ve had the same dishes but they came less spicy - the loss of consistency is a huge issue, and it makes it feel hit or miss.”

“Came here for a birthday dinner for the first time. It gave a Californian vibe in the BCS area. I decided to try the Palo Alto Dip as an appetizer , it was very cream cheese based and wished it had a bit more flavor but I enjoyed trying something new. For the entree I got the Lamb Chops and it came with a side of asparagus and mashed potatoes. For dessert, I tried the Cookies & Cream Gelato! This is a must try and was very generous serving definitely coming back for more. Our server was not very attentive at our table so it was a bit disheartening. Overall, I think it's a great place to try new dishes and tasty gelato.”

“Enroute to Fort Worth I had the absolute pleasure to stop by this Whataburger and use their ladies room. At first thought, I should just use it on the bus because sometimes especially when theirs an event in the area public restrooms can get out of hand. I go inside, plenty of staff on duty for the event crowd and smiling faces. Was I surprised, the ladies room was freakin clean and smelled like bleach. Toilet paper stocked, toilet bowl CLEAN, toilet seat clean, trash emptied, paper towels stocked, soap dish filled.I leave out, round the corner a smiling face asked "Ma'am was the restroom ok?" I replied "Who's the manager?" The manager spoke up and asked "Is everything ok?" I replied loud enough for every staff member could hear, I complemented the manager for her excellent leadership which is exhibited by her wonder staff. I have witnessed and believe that staff attitudes are the reflection of management style. Every single staff member was busy doing something with s smile as s Team should be. The vision that the General Manager has for the workplace amongst staff and establishment exceeded my expectations. The manager on duty supported that vision and as an Elite Yelper, I must acknowledge that met goal. Whataburger's are known for their great service, food especially their burgers but a very clean ladies restroom many chains sometimes neglect.”

It’s also not every day that you get to enjoy an amazing dinner while having life lessons… My 13 year old son and I ate there on the way to a baseball tournament out of town; during our dinner, a table beside us had a gentleman that was apparently very agitated about the service (which honestly, was stellar). He got up no less than three times and was extremely aggressive, to the point of almost shoving the Manager. The manager and his staff handled the situation so beautifully – they apologized and made sure that the table had everything they needed, but more importantly, served that table with patience and grace. The manager apologized to us and those around us but there was nothing to apologize for – I was able to show my son that while you can’t control how other people act, you can control your own actions, and that kindness is a perfect answer. The manager especially was an example of that. Well done, and we will be back!”

“On March 30th I found la Gabriella online when I was searching for bakeries in Bryan/CS. I was hunting for pastries to take to a family lupper (lunch/supper), and the list of different forms and flavors at la Gabriella was outstanding! I called to ask if they would hold some aside until I could get there, and sweet Anna Maria said, "Sure we can!" It was 12:15, and they had almost sold everything they had baked that morning....yikes! I'm so happy they could hold a few: butterscotch pecan scones, an apple & cream pastry, a chocolate expresso muffin, and a cream Mayan bread. OH. MY. GOODNESS.... Each pastry was a class act and so delicious...I cut up each one, and everyone, five of us, got to sample whatever looked good to us. There was so much food, and because we all overate...as usual...I got to take home the better part of the pastries....HOORAY! Now I can't wait to visit my new favorite coffeeshop and sample even more pastries and try some of their coffees. AGGIELAND, YOU HAVE TO TRY LA GABRIELLA COFFEESHOP AND PASTRIES!! “I used to work in College Station so I ate lunch here a lot. My favorite dish was the lobster bisque in a bread bowl. I was there this weekend and couldn't wait to have one after many years. It was as scrumptious as I remembered. I also tried one of their famous cookies and it was soft and chewy and delicious. No wonder they have been voted best cookie for so long! The restaurant is also kept clean and the employees are polite and service is quick. I recommend a stop here for lunch anytime.Parking: Plenty of parking to dine in”

Even though it said "skinny" sandwich, it was larger than I thought and enough food. The place has big windows that let a lot of natural light in and was easily the most or one of the most clean food places near campus. Music was quiet and nice, the staff were kind, and the food was pretty good. Overall it was a great experience, would love to come back.”

“Found Stella Southern Cafe on Maps researching BCS dining options I wanted to try while in the area.The Mrs and I were out in the greater CS area after the Bryan farmers market and looking for brunch options. They were pretty busy when we arrived as the line was several groups deep... but the staff moved pretty efficiently and we were up in no time.I got the Southern Benedict with a side of grits. The Mrs got the chicken and biscuit French toast(?), which wasn't. Better described as drop biscuits or Johnny cakes, but definitely NOT French toast.Clearly lots of scratch made and a likely option next time we're wanting breakfast or brunch.”

Normally, the food there is subpar. Sushimasa has blown up this realty. It is one of my top restaurants to go to. Food is fresh. The seafood soup has actual medium-sized scallops!! The unique salmon skin salad is delicious (if u r into cucumbers)! For those that don’t eat raw fish, they also have teriyaki beef and chicken. These are very small portions, so order a few orders together initially to start. We had a party of 6 and were seated in a nice booth. Atmosphere is very tranquil and pretty. For a reasonable price ($33/person), we ordered all-u-can-eat. It comes with an alcoholic drink or refillable soda, 2 pages of items to order from, and delicious desserts. For dessert, we ordered the the fried cheese cake, green matcha / strawberry ice creams, and fried bananas. Highly recommended.”
