“These guys are doing it well. Not only does the food taste great, but they provide gluten and dairy-free options. We ordered The Aggie, the Alaskan, and the Nutella with strawberries crepes. Providing Spindrift and Topo Chico was an added bonus. They advertise “fresh” orange juice, but when I asked the cashier if it contained added sugar, he said he didn’t know and that it came from a gallon jug. So if you’re thinking freshly squeezed, it’s definitely not. Parking around the vicinity is not free, but the parking garage is.“
“I took some colleagues to lunch at Urban Table. I hate the pressure of treating visitors! But Urban Table was a solid choice. We all had the Miso Salmon and it was DELICIOUS. They were still talking about it the next day! To top it off, the service is amazing. Ethan was our server. It was raining when we left so Ethan came with an umbrella to walk me to my car. “Been looking to try this place for awhile. Tried to simply show up a couple times at lunch, but missed the food each time. Today, I decided to text my order. Got a prompt response and an estimated time. Showed up to get my food and Charlie lived up to the hype. Charlie himself was a pleasure to talk with. He definitely exuded the vibes of someone who loves his craft, and knows he's good at it. It's so nice to visit a place that doesn't feel like a corporation, just a dude doing what he loves and sharing his talent. Paid my tab and he handed me my bag, which I almost dropped because it was so much heavier than I expected. He told me there were enough fries in there to choke a man, I laughed and said it sounded like me. A cute joke I thought... but he wasn't kidding.Got home, sat down, and opened it up. Oh my god. Don't try to be a hero, Charlie isn't messing around with portions! I'm a big guy, and I couldn't finish it. I tried, I truly did. The Bigggg Bacondouble was the best burger I've had in recent memory. It blew the doors off anything I've had since coming to College Station. Just a tick of sweetness, a bit of crunch, and balanced perfectly. The fries were a surprise. At first I thought they were a little bland but after eating a few the flavor builds and you just can't put them down. I wanted to, but I wasn't able to finish the fries either, Charlie wasn't kidding, I would have choked. Seriously, I will be back as soon as I recover. Out of all the DBs in town, this one on University Dr is the only one that is really consistent with measuring their ingredients exactly every time. My coffee always tastes exactly the same here! “This is easily the best shaved ice in the College Station/Bryan area. Since SoCo Sno isn't an actual store and more of a trailer, it can be easy to miss. Don't! Keep looking till you find it because this place is a hidden gem. They have a large variety of flavors so you can always find something you'll like! The shaved ice is very smooth and doesn't have large chunks of crushed ice, something that often ruins a whole cone. I got the Tiger's Blood flavor and I tell you that was the best Tiger's Blood shaved ice I have ever had! The flavoring wasn't too sweet so I could finish the cone without feeling gross. I highly recommend SoCo Sno to anyone who wants a cold treat on a hot Texas day.“

“This breakfast/brunch/lunch establishment is very good. Lots of variety, from yogurt parfaits to avocado toast to chicken and waffles to egg sandwiches. They even have seitan you can substitute for chicken for us vegetarians! Staff is always nice and food gets cooked and delivered quickly. Only downside (which is a just a small downside) is I wish the tables inside were spread out a little more, it feels a little cramped trying to walk around the other tables/guests to refill a drink.Vegetarian options: Seitan as a chicken substitute. Avocado toast. Waffles/pancakes. Yogurt parfait. Side options such as French fries.“

“I used to work in College Station so I ate lunch here a lot. My favorite dish was the lobster bisque in a bread bowl. I was there this weekend and couldn't wait to have one after many years. It was as scrumptious as I remembered. I also tried one of their famous cookies and it was soft and chewy and delicious. No wonder they have been voted best cookie for so long! The restaurant is also kept clean and the employees are polite and service is quick. I recommend a stop here for lunch anytime.Parking: Plenty of parking to dine in“

“My experience with Boomtown was fantastic. I was greeted by multiple employees when I entered and the service continued to be excellent throughout the entire experience. I ordered the Taco Bomb and I was more than impressed. The flavors were bold and blended so well. The price was extremely fair. I will be back to try many other things.“
