We are very indecisive so them providing us with an option of trying a little bit of everything was perfect for us! We were surprised by how much food was included with the elegante experience. We went on a Monday night, around 7:00 and decided to sit outside because the sun had gone down and the air was cooling down. The outdoor patio is beautiful.
That being said, The patio desperately needs fans for air flow... As beautiful as it was there is no air movement on the patio ... The patio could really benefit from fans, even misters.“

“Atmosphere, food and service were terrific! UnaVida serves beautiful and inventive Mexican cuisine. We were looking for VEGAN options and UnaVida had more than we’ve seen in most any Dallas restaurant. The heart cakes were delicious as was the “taco” bowl. I can’t wait to return to try the mushroom tacos and other salads that looked delicious. Drinks were great as well. Our server, Elizabeth, was very helpful and was more than accommodating to make our experience a good one.

“Last night's Date Night with a Hottie led us to another East Dallas fave, El Vecino Tex Mex. Greeting us at the door was owner, John McBride, and his place was hoppin'!!! My better half and I bellied up to the bar as we waited just a few minutes for our table. I enjoyed a Maker's Mark Old Fashioned, and Sonia, a Pacifico. Immediately after being seated Edgar was quick to serve. We ordered chips and a massive guacamole as an appetizer. Then we shared sizzlin' steak fajitas. So good! I ordered another OF, while Sonia shifted to a Margarita on the Rocks that hit the spot. The Rita is El Vecino's offering during this summer's Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce Cocktail Passport program. So thankful for their participation. John and the EV family have been fantastic chamber members. Anyhow, John was running around, working the room, prepping tables and supporting staff. I love seeing business owners hustle, and he sure does that. “Service and food are average. Drinks are good. We had a reservation and when we were about to get sitted we were hold off because they were about to clean the table. The smell of fabuloso is very annoying which I believe for a restaurant they should use a neutral cleaning spray.
Food is salty, not so tasty, and very expensive.
I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for the longest but wasn't impressed. It is the one type of restaurant I would visit once in a while.“

“I had made reservations for a large group and as we entered, I got a little nervous as we were the only guests there. But our table and staff were all ready and quick to attend and the service, food did not disappoint. I highly recommend any of the dishes with the spicy green sauce…it is actually pretty spicy, but in the “it hurts so good” kind of way. I wish I could bottle it and take it home with me! Definitely recommend the fish tacos, perfectly battered with a great amount of fish served!“

“This is where I come to get breakfast tacos about once a week or so. I can keep coming back again and again because the tacos are that good. They are reasonably priced and taste so delicious. I'm sure they have other food that is worth it, but as far as it goes for myself, the breakfast tacos are where it's at. Trust me on this one... flour tacos with bacon, beans, and cheese, and grab you some salsas to put on it and you will be in heaven.“

“I have previously posted 5 stars but when I got to the important meeting, they forgot to put the tortillas. For a big order over $150 dollars I called to let them know and they took over 30 minutes on a 10 minute distance. 😣 They just have to make sure to double check the orders

Joe has been taking great care of us for over 25 years and provides the best service! He knows exactly what we want to order without us ever saying a word, even the extra serranos and all!
