“We had an outstanding experience at The Salt Lick BBQ! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by an inviting and earthy atmosphere that set the perfect tone for our meal. The staff were not only friendly but also helpful, guiding us through the ordering process seamlessly. Despite a wait of about 25 minutes, which wasn't bad considering the popularity of the place. We ordered ribs— btw they are very generous portions.Absolutely divine and truly a standout dish.The Chicken was flavorful, it practically melted off the bone.The Brisket was perfectly done, with just the right balance of flavor and tenderness.Their desserts are amazing, the peach cobbler and chocolate pecan pie are exceptional!!While the BBQ and desserts were exceptional, the only downside was the limited variety of sides. We would have loved more options to complement the savory goodness of the BBQ. Nonetheless, The Salt Lick BBQ earns a solid five ✨ stars for its fantastic atmosphere, friendly service, and unbeatable BBQ offerings. Can't wait to return!”

“What a pleasant surprise. We had the cellars flight of wine and were once again floored by the great taste. The bartender was amazing. She ran the complete bar by herself. She was nonstop. The flight of wine includes a selection of five wines. We drank one (1) white, one (1) rose, and three (3) reds. They were all amazing. We ended up buying four (4) bottles. The wine in Texas is simply amazing. Full disclosure I’m not an expert in wine by any means however I was amazed nonetheless.So the debate wasNot enough time at the cellar sipping on wine in a great atmosphereORWas the desperation for great BBQ overwhelming.The cellar has outdoor seating areas that are beautiful.Cheers”

“We hosted a Rehearsal/Welcome dinner for 80 in the winery’s event space with a happy hour outside prior to the dinner. From the beginning, Candace Dill, director of events, was professional, responsive, and flexible as our numbers and food choices changed. She was a pleasure to work with! The food was delicious and the waitstaff were very friendly and accommodating. My guests were very complimentary of the entire experience. I would highly recommend booking any event with Candace and Duchman.”

“Acopon is a rare gem in the heart of Dripping Springs! It’s so hard to find English style beers in Austin and even harder to find cask beers regularly tapped, so this little brewery is doing good work! Our experience here was pleasant on a Saturday evening, not at all rowdy or crowded, and the perfect environment to enjoy a few crushable beers. Highly recommend!”

“It's a great place to hang, open late, everything is pretty good there. The food trucks are all pretty great (I would love a pizza truck tho)But the seating is pretty much just wood. There's one couch but no place to put your drink. Picnik tables or parochial chairs make it pretty uncomfortable to hang for very long. It's not full enough for them to want us to bail because our butts hurt.How about some funky coffee tables or old couches or chairs around?”

“Mr Chingon is rock solid. A little on the pricier side for mexican food, but absolutely killing it on quality and consistency. For dripping springs, its an easy 5 stars as we have limited options. The birria, the taco madre, the pastor, all dang good. If this place was priced a little more appropriately, I'd be here almost every day.”

The place is run by people with impaired hearing, so be patient when placing your order.We ordered 2 crepes - a savory chicken mushroom crepe and a sweet dulce de leche crepe.
