“We went here for the first time tonight and LET ME TELL YOU we will absolutely be back. For starters, the environment is super cool. Jazz music in the background (owner Mike said they have live musicians on weekends too!!) and it was so relaxing. A really cool space. The owner Mike told us they make EVERYTHING from scratch, even their own meats! The food is INCREDIBLE we got pad Thai, spicy sausage rice and the egg rolls. Everything is amazing and so delicious. It was hard driving home in the car with the smell of these aromatics!!! I’d like to also mention how down to earth, kind and cool the owner Mike is! He told us a bit about his family and the business. Definitely recommend this spot guys. Authentic locally/family owned, scratch-made kitchen and beautiful venue. Thanks Mike! We will be back! “Really enjoyed my meal! The food came out super fast, which I always appreciate, but it was super hot and clearly fresh. Especially loved the egg rolls and thought the spiciness level of my noodles was just right (I got level 2 out 3 and it was just spicy enough). The food truck park here is also really nice, great ”

“So good! First time visiting this food park in the Onion Creek area of South Austin. A surprisingly large amount of parking spaces behind the food park. Overhead awnings cover you from heat but don't think it's good enough for rain. A tiny little play area to occupy little ones and tons of mulch to run around in. Pet friendly. The tacos were bomb. Grilled onions and salsas were great compliments to the Al Pastor Mini Tacos. You can also get chicken or bistec tacos but mine were fire! If you live close they are on DoorDash which could be clutch since they are that good.”
“Mike bbq's some amazing food, he is also a huge supporter of veteran charities and goes out of his way to to please his customers. I will always support this business when I can just because it's absolutely delicious.”
“Review is for Simpson's BBQ Food Truck, not the actual location if they have one. They were at the HEB Symphony with a bunch of other food trucks. The line was 30+ people deep when we got our food. My partner really wanted reasonably priced barbecue, so here we waited. You can estimate about 1.5-2 minute wait per person (took us about 30 minutes with 20ish people). The prices are very reasonable, but you get what you pay for. The nachos had barely any meat and the meat was dry. It was a respectable amount of nachos that were a good snack or light meal, though, and they were better priced than other food trucks. I'd go for two hot dogs over nachos next time if I wanted to have a meal.An extra star for the nice lady collecting ticket numbers that was patient in explaining customization options while waiting, including lemonade flavors.”

“The Mi Ranchito burrito is good - comes topped with queso and avocado slices and has a lot of meat inside and the salsa options are good too (though none are particularly spicy). I’ve tried a couple tamales and they’re fine but didn’t stand out as anything special. We come here occasionally and the food is consistent and employees are friendly - glad to live close by and have this as an option”
“This place has a lot of potential. It’s a cool environment- kinda funky. I’ve never seen over thirty people in there though. Got a big outside area. It’s just down Manchaca. Not too far from the bars that started getting crazy recently (Armadillo, Moontower, SABG) yet still that chill. Like I said- lots of potential. It’s cool right now regardless.”

“They do catering at our office and I’m glad they’ve vegetarian option in terms of veggie taco. It has some fajitas, beans, onions, cilantro and cheese to top it with. You can choose flour or corn tortillas for tacos. And it comes with either spicy red salsa or mild green salsa. And lemon wedges. It was good experience.”

“Y'all this is the seafood spot! This is how seafood should be done right here! We had a few different things to share and each was absolutely delicious. That coleslaw is acidic and fresh. Those hush puppies were huge and delicious and shrimp were huge and amazing! We also tried the alligator, fish and crab cake avocado and I'd recommend to give any of them a try! I'm not from Buda but it will be a go to place any time I'm in town! Great job! *clapping hands*”

“First? Very expensive. Highest quality food AND service, but you WILL pay for it.The menu changes every month so not for picky eaters. Very cognizant of food allergies though.Quite possibly the greatest hamburger I've ever eaten. Amazing.$36 burger before gratuity, so they know what they have, but still Austin's best hamburger... until it's replaced with something else on the menu.”

“Clark's is such a special spot. I personally don't love sitting inside because they have such a cozy little patio and I love sitting out there on a cool evening as the sun begins to set. It's surrounded by trees, warm lights, and neon signs. But we snagged a last minute reservation and all that was available was standard seating. They really set the mood as the evening progresses with the tea light candles and dimmed lights. We were greeted and seated immediately. Carrie was our waitress and she was friendly, attentive, warm and so easy going. It had been a while since I had dinner here but I knew I wanted crudo plate, it is probably my favorite item from the cold bar. Clark's is a treat. If you're on vacation in ATX, it's a must. Or on any day where you feel like having the freshest, delectable seafood.”

“Perfect Match Kemuri Tatsu-Ya combines two of my favorite things in a match I absolutely loved Describing itself as both a Japanese izakaya and Texas smokehouse, Kemuri honors the flavors of Japan while bringing a distinctive Texas spin Items I loved included the brisket served with Tsukemen noodles, the smokehouse flavored bbq tuna collar with nori seaweed wraps as well as the chinmi "sake accompaniments" that you often see only at more authentic Japanese establishments As we enjoyed our sake and sampled a variety of delicious bites, it was very clear that Austin's diverse food scene has got game It's easy to be skeptical of any fusion restaurant but Kemuri is refreshingly creative with bold flavors, great portions and unique items Sweet and Sour Mozuku Shooter $4 / Taiyaki Cornbread $6.5 / Jellyfish $6 / Ankimo $13 / Beef Tartare $19 / Tsukune $7 / Beefy Shrooms $14 / BBQ Tsukemen with Brisket $15 / BBQ Eel $16 / Bento +$15 / Tuna Collar $35 / Tamago Pudding $6 Kemuri Tatsu-Ya (Austin, TX) Seating is both indoor and outdoor in the back patio. If outdoors, there are flies but they have fly fans. Reservations are recommended on Resy and credit cards including Apple Pay are accepted.”

“We were blown away by this place! Service was outstanding, but the food was next level. We ordered the salad, shishito peppers and nuts for an appetizer and then came the smash burgers. Everything was so good! We finished our meal with the best carrot cake any of us have ever had. We’re already planning our next visit. Highly recommended!”

“Fantastic pizza. As a New Yorker, I was impressed to find actual, true New York pizza in Austin. If you can, sit at the bar where you can watch them make the pizzas. Delicious and inexpensive. Great find!”

“The BEST coffee in Austin. This is the only coffee I drive across town for, and I think my subconscious literally knows to wake up early on Saturday just to get her when they open. Brown sugar miso latte and choco cloud are out of this world. The team here is so friendly and the line moves quickly so don’t be intimidated.”

“This is definitely a must go place for vegan and vegetarian food. The Tarzen big salad was so filling, refreshing and filled with portobellos and broccoli. The veggie royale is also a great choice for a burger sandwich fusion. Many vegan eateries have high amount of salt and soy, but this place uses fresh and in house ingredients. The ambience was quite busy and the tables were kinda sticky, but those didn’t matter because the food was delicious!”

“So glad we found this place! We were next door getting our car washed and the owner of the car wash recommended we go across the street to get a drink while we waited. The vibe in this pace was so cool. A friend that was with us said that the place felt like something from a movie scene. The bartender was very nice. I had the frozen Irish coffee. It was SO good!! I love souvenirs and the was excited to keep my cup. We will definitely be stopping there next time we are in Austin!”

“We loved our barbecue meal at Terry Black’s! The line was long, but it moved quickly and it was nice to get a cold beer while waiting in line. We ordered the brisket, pork ribs and cheese sausage with mac & cheese, coleslaw, and beans & rice as sides. I don’t know why no one has mentioned the beans and rice in their reviews. They were phenomenal! The brisket was delicious as was the sausage. Don’t bother with the pork ribs stick with the beef ribs. The mac & cheese was also really good . Definitely hit up Terry Black’s if you are in Austin!”
