“Only sushi spot open later than your moms house (ooooooooooooo) great sushi, people are really nice. I wouldn't say go here as your first option for sushi, but definitely try it out if you're craving some and you're just in the area. Opened pretty new so everything's nice and shiny. Overall a good spot, not the best but definitely does the job.“

“It was a wonderful dining experience. Tuesday night is the best night to go. They have a happy hour special that allows you to try all the meats with a side of steamed rice at a reasonable price. Add a couple of vegetable sides and it can be a great meal between 2 people.“

“Tei-An is exactly the contemporary zen Japanese it claims to be. An aroma of woody incense is pleasingly present as soon as you walk in. The decor and stone arrangements also make the earthy vibe a comfortable dining environment. Our server, Janie was very kind and went out of her way to provide exceptional service. She introduced the menu and explained how the sequence on how the food is served. The house made pickles were a refreshingly excellent start to open our taste pallet. They were a perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and tart. Highly recommended. The soba sampler is a great way to taste different flavor pairing for the soba. The bolognese is an interesting take on westernizing soba. It has the light texture of soba noodles combined with the richness of mushrooms and cheese. The chicken karaage was disappointing to me as it tasted pre-packaged and out of the freezer. I know it's not the what they specialize in, but they could improve the karaage recipe to taste more traditionally Japanese. Other than that, I enjoyed my experience at Tei-An because everyone was super hospitable. Other servers stopped by our table to exchange our dirty plates and wipe the water off our table. I can tell there's a lot of effort put into the details of service. I hope others can have the same positive experience as I did.“

“The sushi at this restaurant is excellent and very fresh. I highly recommend trying their specialty rolls, particularly the Burn Your Stomach roll. It has the perfect balance of spice and flavor. The lychee margarita is also a must-try. However, the service can be slow as there appears to be only one server and a host. If you are very hungry, I suggest sitting at the bar for faster service. Despite this, it remains one of my favorite sushi spots.“

“Great place to have delicious sushi. Came here alone and the server whom I believe was the owner or manager was the one who served me. He was very nice and attentive. The food was great and prices very reasonable. great calm atmosphere. I will for sure come back here if I ever visit “

“Had an amazing first experience here. Our waiter Sohl was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind. We had three different dishes but the honeymoons was my favorite dish. I could literally eat it everyday. You can tell everything is fresh too. I’ll definitely be back again.“

“Nobu was on my friends bucket list so we decided to make a reservation for happy hour during our visit to Dallas. We tried different appetizers and a couple of the specialty drinks while relaxing g at the bar. All of them were wonderful and very well done. They tasted fresh and had fantastic ingredients that complement each other. My favorite by far was a black cod butterfish! This beautiful, soft light fish just disappears in your mouth and the crunchy topping gave the wrap a wonderful consistency in each bite. The ambiance was very romantic as well and I would love to visit again with my husband. In addition, the bartender was very helpful when deciding on our choices and had great drink recommendations. Five star all round!“

“Got 4 different Onigiri here - buffalo chicken, soft shell crab, salmon & tuna. They were all really good!l even after reheating the next day for lunch. Ordering is cashier-less but it still asks to tip which I think is odd.Not easy to find Onigiri ? but I can’t wait to come back and grab more!“

“I went on a Friday it was busy, the majority of the patrons were there for Hibachi. We (2 adults 2 kids under 8) went there for sushi and fried rice. Our side of the restaurant was not as busy. This was not our first time there, nore was it the best. The food was good as it usually is but the service was horrible. The waitress was inattentive, each persons meal was brought out individually in 3-5 min intervals. We had to ask multiple times for the same thing and by the time we got it, it was no longer needed. This was probably because there was an automatic 18% gratuity added. Which was fine with me because I usually start tipping at 20%. I guess the attitude was why give service if I'm getting an automatic 18%. Short story long. The food is always good, this is the first time I had poor service, I will return.“

“Let me tell you this place passes the vibe check. The playlist they had playing was so fire. I also loved that their was a DJ that came in later to turn the place up. I went on a Sunday around Brunch time. The Bartender was so fire! He made out drinks super fast and overall was just cool. I also loved that there was this secret looking room in the back. This spot is just overall dope. I will be going back!“

“While the waiter was very polite and attentive, many things were brought to the table incorrectly or missing. They were very apologetic and comped us for the missing items. The sushi was really good. I had one of the salmon rolls and the cuts of fish were HUGE. Even the roll we didn't order but somehow made it to the table was very yummy.“
